Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity and their nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, who they continually support and develop, provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia – including Alzheimer’s disease.

This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis paying a salary of £30,000 – £33,500 per annum to work in a hybrid and flexible working model from their London Office.  

As the Challenge Events Executive, you will coordinate a portfolio of third-party challenge events that drive participation and income. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of all challenge events within your portfolio – delivering marketing plans that drive participant numbers, and stewardship journeys that provide excellent supporter experiences and maximise income.

They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of coordinating fundraising events or campaigns. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of effective marketing channels and techniques for driving participation in challenge events, particularly via digital channels.

They are now seeking a Maintenance Officer to join their team, on a temporary basis, initially for 1 month, with potential of extension.  

As a Maintenance Officer you will carry out a range of general health & safety room checks, cleaning, building maintenance and caretaking tasks. The role will report to and support the Facilities Manager in the delivery of planned, reactive maintenance and cleaning tasks. You will ensure a clean and welcoming environment for residents, employees and visitors by providing a repairing, maintenance cleaning service in order to keep the various buildings and grounds to the highest standard, whilst minimising the need for external contractors.
 
To be considered for this role, you will have experience of risk assessment or a health & safety qualification, as well as experience of building cleaning and maintenance, handyperson, plumbing or caretaking duties. You will also have a good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment, the ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and be able to manage your own workload effectively and under pressure.

The Legacy and In Memory Lead will work closely with the Individual Giving Lead to ensure appropriate coordination of planned activities involving existing and prospective individual giving, legacy and in memory audiences. The post holder will also work closely with the HODAR to help inform the development of departmental strategies.

The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable and relevant experience of in memory and/or legacy fundraising and developing in memory products. You will have experience in using a variety of on and offline channels to deliver successful marketing campaigns to both acquire and develop donors.
