Our partner, an international charity, seeks an interim finance manager to support the international finance team. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder, with experience in preparing consolidated annual accounts, management accounts, whilst being hands on and taking on transactional elements of the role.
Responsibilities
- Day to day accounting and administration, including posting transactions; payment of suppliers and staff expenses; international bank transfers to overseas country offices; setting up and processing regular giving payments, and processing one off donations; banking; and process monthly payroll.
- Undertake reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including BVA analysis and summaries, and income and expenditure reports for budget holders.
- Prepare the annual consolidated accounts and financial statements, and support in the preparation of the annual audit, liaising with the overseas country offices.
Requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant with all-round experience working in a small team within an international charity. Experience of leading on the production of annual consolidated accounts as per charity SORP in the UK, management accounts & analysis, and managing day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.
- Hands on, able to manage a varied workload.
- Strong business partnering skills, able to work with finance and non-finance staff in the UK and overseas offices, budget holders and liaise with third parties, including banks and auditors.
- Strong communication skills.
This is a part-time role (3-4 days/week), that can be done either remotely or hybrid, coming into the office 1 day/week. All candidates (even remote) must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship. This is a 6 month parental leave cover. An immediate start is preferred.

Our client is looking for 2 experienced Rent Income Officers (Rent Service Partner) to join their dynamic and friendly Rent Service Team. This busy team processes Housing Benefit payments from 55 local authorities in the UK for up to 4000 St Mungo’s residents; and collect over £45 million in rent and service charge plays a key role in the organisation to support clients to rebuild their lives.
In the role of Rent Service Partner, you will:
- Deliver a high quality rent collection and arrears recovery service, supporting our clients by working towards minimising rent arrears and maximising client income.
- Oversee a busy and varied case load of rent arrears cases ensuring outcomes are achieved in a timely manner.
- Use your attention to detail and expert knowledge to complete accurate court applications and present cases to court.
- Provide an accurate, sensitive and responsive rent account enquiry and information service.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, being the lead liaison with Local Authorities for a designated caseload.
In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from their office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for training, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. They support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week, from home.
About you
They are looking for people with experience of working in a rent service, income collection or credit control team, with good problem solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team. If you can demonstrate the below, we encourage you to apply.
- Proven experience of using prioritisation and organisation skills to oversee a busy case load of rent arrears cases.
- Knowledge of the court system and legal process relating to debt recovery, and experience of presenting cases to court.

As Network Stock & Logistics Manager, you will take a network-wide view of all stock and logistics. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, supplier relationships, continuous improvement initiatives, and strategic planning. This will include both the inbound and outbound movement of stock, as well as London-wide logistics infrastructure and contracts. You will work closely with the warehouse team on stock levels, policies and procedures, as well as with hub teams to have a complete picture of network stock levels and needs, in order to make efficiencies, improve stock flow and engage with the community.
The successful candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: logistics, retail, procurement, community engagement, and will be a confident and articulate person, who enjoys engaging with stakeholders from all backgrounds, whether it is a school or religious group, large corporate partner or individual donor. You must be practical and well-organised, happy reorganising a spreadsheet of stock items and must be a keen problem solver and strong team player.
