This position will lead on the management and development of projects and campaigns to acquire new and increase the value and loyalty of existing supporters across both digital and direct channels. You will be responsible for a portfolio of Individual Giving Fundraising across single, regular, prize-led, payroll, legacy and in-memory giving.
You will work closely with team members to develop supporter journeys and digital acquisition to grow acquisition and retention rates.
This varied role will involve briefing, monitoring and managing stakeholder relationships for Individual Giving campaigns and projects to ensure effective financial management, data management, supporter care, supporter engagement, digital product management and marketing processes are followed.
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
- Managing Individual Giving campaigns (acquisition and retention) across a variety of direct and digital channels
- Using databases to inform Individual Giving campaigns
- Managing and delivering budgets and working with agencies
- Monitoring and evaluating campaigns, reporting results and make recommendations to improve performance.
This charity is also interested in applications from candidates with relevant skills in direct marketing who have not previously worked in a charity setting.
This is a hybrid role requiring 50% time in their Central London Office.

As the Customer Services and Administration Manager, managing a team of Customer Service Officers, you will ensure that on a day-to-day basis the team functions efficiently, effectively and delivers excellent customer care service to all supporters, staff and members of the general public. You will ensure all staff within the team are managed and developed so they provide a high level of support to those using the team and the services provided.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of customer service ensuring the supporters, members and members of the public have a great experience when contacting the organisation.

- Experience of managing a team within a Customer Services, Supporter Services, Supporter Care, Membership department. Delivering a progressive programme of customer service delivery to internal and external customers.
- Experience of managing and responding to complaints and feedback
- Experience of processing Direct Debits payments or similar and ideally thanking of supporter donations via a database
- Experience of the BACS direct debit claiming process and following regulations

Person Specification:
· Extensive experience of working strategically with celebrities and their management teams.
· Creative and proactive approach to celebrity engagement and ongoing stewardship.
· Negotiation and persuasion skills to ensure that high profile supporters understand why we’re the Parkinson’s charity to support.
· The ability to build and maintain relationships with discretion and sensitivity.
· Understanding and awareness of the GDPR when handling personal data and information.

About this role
- The Head of Finance is a newly created post, following a period of review within Finance and operations.
- You will manage Finance whilst delivering effective IT systems and HR, with the support of external specialists.
Main responsibilities:
- To oversee all areas of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting to ensure optimal use of resources and achievement of key strategic and financial objectives.
- To provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and mitigate risks.
- To collaborate with other departments to guide financial operations, evaluate investments, manage HR, and comply with legal and statutory regulation and compliance.
- To deliver an effective IT infrastructure, working with consultants.
Financial management:
- Lead strategic and business planning initiatives, including the annual budget programme, and assist in funding applications with input across the management teams.
