The Roving HR Manager – Emergency Responses will play a critical role in leading HR functions across humanitarian operations through direct deployment.

You will provide strategic and operational HR leadership across emergency responses, supporting programme start-up, scale-up and transition phases. Acting as a trusted adviser to Team Leads, Heads of Mission and senior managers, you will ensure workforce planning, employee relations, safeguarding, staff wellbeing and HR compliance are effectively managed in dynamic and high-pressure environments. A key priority for this role will be supporting UK-Med's response in Gaza, and the successful candidate must be willing and suitable to undertake deployments to Gaza and other high-risk humanitarian contexts as required.

Due to the highly deployable nature of this role, candidates must be able to travel internationally at short notice. UK-Med will consider deployment mobility, including passport eligibility and access to current and anticipated programme locations, as part of the overall assessment process.

Working closely with HR & Membership, Operations, Security, Safeguarding and programme teams, you will support rapid mobilisation, strengthen HR systems and processes, and contribute to workforce planning and organisational preparedness. When not deployed, you will help strengthen UK-Med's ability to respond rapidly and effectively to humanitarian crises worldwide.

As the Finance Manager, you will support the monitoring and control of Trust spend, working closely with the Finance Director to successfully manage budgets and incoming resources, whilst delivering the highest standards of customer service to the academies in the Trust and other stakeholders.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day finance transactions, including banking, management accounts review and reconciliation, debtor management and reporting, and the administration and development of the finance system. This includes close working with the Accounts Payable team to ensure robust financial control, compliance and efficiency across all academies within the Trust.

You will provide a stable, flexible and resilient service that supports leadership in delivering value for money and strong financial stewardship across all income streams received by the Trust. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Control & Accounting: Lead month-end close procedures, balance sheet reconciliations, and correction journals. Maintain the fixed asset register and calculate annual depreciation in line with academy financial reporting standards.
• Budgeting & Income Management: Partner with the Finance Director to advise academy budget holders, manage self-generated income streams (including debt management/reporting), and oversee compliance for the 6th form bursary payment process.
• Cash & Compliance: Direct daily banking reconciliations, cash-flow forecasting, and monthly VAT 126 return submissions to HMRC.
• Systems & Operational Support: Act as the super-user and administrator for the Trust’s finance system—providing training to staff and stepping in to support the Accounts Payable team during peak periods.
• Procurement: Oversee the Trust’s centralised contract register to support timely renewals, compliance with procurement policy, and value-for-money principles.
• Audit & Governance: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and support the internal scrutiny and external annual audit processes by providing clean evidence.
• Academy Partnering: Spend time out at the local academy sites to assist with school trip costings, build visibility, and strengthen financial understanding across the school. 

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Sector Experience: Prior finance experience within an educational setting, academy trust, local authority, or the wider public/not-for-profit sector is highly desirable but not essential.
• Technical Strength: A strong foundation in management accounts preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial control frameworks.
• System Savvy: Excellent IT skills, particularly with modern finance software/ERP systems, and the ability to train/support other users.
• Communication Skills: The ability to explain complex financial matters clearly to academic leaders and senior trustees who may not have a finance background.
• Flexibility: A collaborative mindset with a willingness to travel to different academy locations in North London as required.

Role Description

The Programme Coordinator will be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of all student related events. This will include having a full understanding of the SEO-London law programmes; understanding the legal industry that the programme supports; how these fits into the SEO-London organisation and using this knowledge to liaise with students and client/partner firms to run, organise and market successful events. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Lottery Fundraiser to join Income Generation team. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow a highly successful weekly lottery programme that raises almost £1 million annually to support vital community services.

Working within a friendly and ambitious fundraising team, you will play a key role in recruiting and retaining lottery players, developing engaging marketing campaigns, supporting raffle promotions, and building relationships with supporters, volunteers, businesses, and local communities.

About the Role

As Lottery Fundraiser, you will:

• Develop and deliver targeted marketing campaigns to attract new lottery players and retain existing supporters.
• Promote lottery products, celebration favours, and bi-annual raffle campaigns.
• Build strong relationships with supporters, volunteers, businesses, and community groups.
• Coordinate recruitment and stewardship activities through telephone, email, and written communications.
• Work closely with retail and fundraising colleagues to maximise income opportunities.
• Monitor performance, analyse trends, and produce reports to support decision-making.
• Ensure all lottery activities comply with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the organisation at events, presentations, networking opportunities, and community engagements.

The Community and Events Fundraising Manager will be responsible for leading the development, delivery and iteration of a multi-year Community and Events fundraising strategy. With support and strategic oversight from the Head of Income Generation, you will be ensuring annual income, event participant and supporter engagement targets are met or exceeded.

Our services provide supported housing for young people aged 16–25, offering both high (24 hour supported) and medium/low supported levels of housing including young families. We take a trauma informed, and psychologically informed approach, supporting residents to build essential life skills, identify personal goals, and work towards their aspirations, enabling them to move on to fully independent living.

Our Maintenance team works across multiple properties to ensure our residents have safe, good‑quality homes. We work closely with project staff to identify and complete repairs, carry out ad hoc cleaning and decoration, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and prepare empty homes for new residents.

This role will supervise a small team of maintenance workers within Brighton & Hove, and you will have previous experience of managing a team. You will be experienced of working in pressurised situations and will be able to prioritise your time and that of others in order to provide the best possible service, you will be a proven problem solver, and you will promptly identify where work expectations exceed capacity, or if external contractors are required to complete technical tasks. You will have excellent people skills and be able to communicate effectively with residents, contractors, maintenance staff, and project staff and managers.

The postholder is responsible for the day‑to‑day delivery of maintenance, repairs and improvement works across their locality, monitoring team performance and ensuring compliance inspections and remedial actions are completed on time and to a high standard, with customer satisfaction at the centre of the service.

You will manage a team of operatives, providing clear direction so all work is completed safely, professionally and efficiently. The role ensures safe working practices are consistently followed, supports value‑for‑money delivery, and contributes to organisational targets — including working towards Net Zero commitments.

Experience and Knowledge

Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care. 

In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Trusts & Foundations fundraiser who is ready to strengthen and diversify their experience, to work with small, medium and high-value funders, and to play a meaningful role within Greyhound Rescue Wales.

The Trusts and Foundations Officer is responsible for securing grants of varying sizes, translating all aspects of GRW’s work into compelling, high-quality applications for a diverse range of prospective funders.

As part of our Income Generation Team, you will work closely with the Head of Fundraising, Sponsorship & Individual Giving Officer and Community & Events Fundraiser to help deliver an annual income target of £400K+.

You’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of trust and foundation relationships, building on warm funders while also researching and developing new prospects at the four-to six-figure level.

This role offers hands-on experience across the full trusts fundraising cycle — from research and relationship-building to bid writing, reporting and stewardship with strong support and clear opportunities to grow
