About the role

The Recruitment Officer plays a key role in delivering an efficient, compliant and candidate focused recruitment service across the organisation. The role will help make sure we hire the right people quickly by managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that all roles are created, evaluated and authorised prior to advertisement, managing the shortlisting and interview process, through to onboarding and Induction. The role aims to reduce the pressure on operational managers while improving the quality and safety of recruitment processes.

Recovery Navigators (Mental Health) – Intensive Community Rehabilitation Service

You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary clinically led Intensive Community Rehabilitation Team, within Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust. You will be managed and employed by Birmingham Mind, but you will be working as part of an integrated team including clinicians and a psychology team. You will be working with people who are experiencing severe and enduring mental health difficulties, supporting them in their own accommodation within the Birmingham and Solihull area. You will be completing interventions that have been identified in each service users’ care plans, Dialog+, which will help to strengthen and maintain skills, abilities and recovery.

Ideally you will be QCF/NVQ level 3 qualified or have a willingness to work towards this qualification. It is essential that you have an empathy for people experiencing mental health issues and are committed to service user involvement and empowerment. You will have a good understanding of equal opportunities, confidentiality, safeguarding and health & safety.

You will need to be flexible due to the shift patterns which include days (09:00 – 17:00), evenings (12:00 – 20:00pm), and weekends (every 7 weeks).

About the role:

We are looking for an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA). This is a full time role on fixed term contract until 31/03/2027. The aim of this role is to support victims of domestic abuse, who are inpatients or outpatients of Bedford Hospital. This role will be part of our other wider specialist services covering Bedfordshire.

As an IDVA you will be:

• Working closely with the safeguarding team and a range of other hospital departments
• Providing a high quality support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse.
• Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service trough individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.
• Working within a multi-agency framework consisting of partners as well as MARAC and other local partnerships to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
• Promoting the service and raise awareness of domestic abuse through the delivery of training

You will need:

• Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of domestic abuse is advantageous
• To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
• To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting.

By developing and delivering campaigns in the retention/stewardship stages of the legacy supporter journey they will increase In-Memory income and report and evaluate retention and stewardship activities against objectives and KPIs, ensuring that key learnings are used to inform future development activity.  Planning and developing Woodgreen’s supporter journeys across Legacy, Pet Promise and In Memory our successful candidate will ensure alignment with both Woodgreen’s acquisition strategy and Individual Giving communications and journey.

If you are;

• Experienced in developing and implementing supporter journey programs, events and direct marketing campaigns.
• Enjoy working with data and fundraising databases to develop and measure effective marketing strategies and activities.
• Have substantial analytical skills and attention to detail, specifically in relation to supporter relationships, retention and development management.

The Gurkha Welfare Trust provides vital support to Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal. We have been working in Nepal for over 50 years, delivering essential financial and medical aid to Gurkha veterans and widows, and working with local communities to provide access to clean water and education. We also build earthquake-resilient homes for our most vulnerable pensioners.

This role’s primary responsibilities will be as follows:

 1. Develop and implement the Trust’s Individual Giving acquisition strategy across regular giving, one‑off donors, mid‑value supporters, and legacy pledgers, in collaboration with the Head of Fundraising & Communications.

2. Lead the planning and management of the annual acquisition budget, ensuring income and expenditure forecasts are accurate and regularly monitored.

3. Deliver integrated, supporter‑focused campaigns across direct mail, TV, door‑drop, inserts, press, telephone fundraising, and digital channels, ensuring activity meets agreed targets, deadlines, and quality standards.

4. Work with the Database Manager and external partners to ensure accurate data selection, segmentation, and fulfilment for all campaigns.

5. Monitor donor behaviour and key performance indicators, including attrition, response rates, and ROI, and develop strategies to enhance retention and reactivate lapsed supporters.

6. Collaborate with creative and fundraising agencies to test, refine, and optimise campaign content, propositions, and targeting.

7. Ensure the highest standard of donor care, working closely with the Individual Giving (Stewardship & Retention) Manager, Database Manager, and fulfilment providers to deliver a consistent and positive supporter experience.

8. Strengthen the regular‑giving acquisition proposition, identifying growth opportunities and mitigating donor attrition.

9. Maximise Gift Aid income by ensuring all acquisition activity includes appropriate prompts and compliance measures.

Support legacy marketing activity in partnership with the Legacy Administration team.

KEY SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Applicants for this position should be able to satisfy the following criteria:

Essential:

• Proven success in delivering Individual Giving or marketing campaigns that meet or exceed income targets.
• Strong project management skills and experience coordinating multi‑channel fundraising campaigns.
• Experience managing significant income and expenditure budgets.
• Ability to analyse campaign performance, interpret data, and produce clear, actionable reports.
• Strong creative judgement and ability to guide external agencies.

We deliver clinically led, volunteer-powered nature prescriptions that achieve clinically measurable outcomes. Independent research, including a two-year study with the London School of Economics, has demonstrated statistically significant improvements in wellbeing, life satisfaction and purpose among participants.

The Role

This is a key fundraising role within a small and collaborative charity team.

As Fundraising Lead, you will play an important part in developing and delivering a diversified fundraising pipeline, with a particular focus on trusts and foundations, alongside philanthropy and selected partnership opportunities.

You will report to and work closely with the Director of Growth & Strategy, who leads overall fundraising strategy and senior relationships, while you focus on driving day-to-day fundraising activity, pipeline development and funder engagement.

This role would suit an experienced fundraiser who enjoys both planning and delivery; from researching opportunities to developing strong proposals and stewarding funder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

About You

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser with a strong track record in trusts and foundations fundraising.

You are likely to:

• Have demonstrable experience securing funding from trusts and foundations
• Be confident developing strong funding proposals and reports
• Have experience managing or contributing to fundraising pipelines
• Be organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Build effective and professional relationships with funders
• Be motivated by improving mental health outcomes and social impact

Experience in health, mental health or community sectors may be helpful but is not essential.

Reporting to the Schools Service Manager, the Schools Coordinator role will mainly be responsible for delivering the Schools Service and local offer to primary and secondary school settings. This includes (not an exhaustive list): 

• Being the single point of contact for primary and secondary schools within the designated local educational authority areas, including non-mainstream settings; 

• Working to set targets, KPIs and reach plans as agreed by your line manager; 

• Responsibility for booking a minimum number of schools to deliver our Speak out. Stay safe programme; 

• Overseeing the booking and delivery of NSPCC volunteer led workshops (to 6-7- and 9–11-year-olds); 

• Actively engaging with and approaching secondary schools with our new Talk Relationships service and wider offer; 

• Leading, supervising and supporting a team of high calibre schools service volunteers; 

• Carrying out quality assurance visits through direct observations of volunteer deliveries, giving constructive feedback; 

• Ensuring training and sign off plans are in place for new volunteers, which may include some co-delivery with a Schools Coordinator in schools for some areas; 

• Providing effective individual and group volunteer supervisions; 

• Planning and implementing volunteer recruitment/attraction strategies; 

• Building and maintaining internal and external relationships, attending events or actively stewarding our offer with stakeholders; 

• Following NSPCC Schools Service safeguarding procedures to the required standards; 

• Collaboration with internal colleagues across the organisation in region;

Purpose of the job

As Major Donor Manager, you will support the delivery of UK Youth's major donor programme, cultivating high-value, long-term relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) individuals in support of UK Youth's mission and vision. You will build and manage a pipeline of major donors and prospects, working towards income targets that grow year on year, and play a critical role in securing unrestricted funding, programme funding and transformational capital investment.

This role requires a strategic, relationship-led approach and a deep understanding of major gift fundraising. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure credibility, effective stewardship and meaningful donor engagement. The Major Donor programme prioritises depth of relationship and long-term value over short-term income targets, and you will be instrumental in embedding this culture across the organisation.

The role sits within the strongly performing and highly motivated Fundraising department, including events, corporate, trust and foundation fundraising.

Experience we're after

• Proven experience in major donor fundraising, with a track record of cultivating and securing five or six figure gifts from HNW individuals.

• Experience of building and managing a major donor pipeline from prospect identification through to solicitation and stewardship.

• Experience of senior stakeholder management, including working with CEOs, trustees and senior volunteers.

• Experience of managing a diverse workload with multiple deadlines, stakeholders and deliverables.

• Experience of thinking strategically and developing compelling fundraising propositions aligned to organisational priorities.

• Experience of delivering cultivation and stewardship events for major donors.
