As a receptionist for the charity, you will contribute to the effective running of the organisation by managing the reception function on a day-to-day basis, making clients and other visitors feel welcome and safe as they arrive at our building. 

Responsible to the office and facilities manager, you will play a critical role in delivering a smooth and supportive client experience. 

Receptionists Job Share £27,500 FTE (based on-site in Croydon – one role is 26.45 hours per week – from 8.45am to 2pm Monday to Friday; second role is 25.15 hours per week, 1.45pm to 7pm on Monday to Thursday, 1.45pm to 6pm on Fridays).  Extra hours available for holiday cover.

We’re looking for someone to adopt a consistent relationship management process to support all staff at existing delivery centres and to on-board new centres. Organisation and efficiency, along with a clear communication style and an ability to effectively manage data are essential skills for this role. This role necessitates that the successful candidate be creative with their ideas to enable the successful relationship management of our centres, while also effectively handling phone calls, emails and queries via an online live chat function.

Role Purpose:

1. Provide appropriate support to centres when they contact the Leadership Skills Foundation.
2. Establish consistent and robust engagement and relationship management practices including logging touch points and interpreting data with a variety of our customers.
3. Respond to centre enquiries, help resolve technical issues and potential issues to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised support via effective relationship management strategies to support customers with any queries and issues across the customer journey in line with the Customer Experience Strategy.
• Proactively seek opportunities to create and maintain strong working relationships with centres that seek support from the organisation via central communication channels (phone, emails and live chat).
• Provide proactive and customised centre outreach that constantly seeks to elevate the experience of existing centres including recording accurate and timely customer intelligence.
• Resolve programme/service issues, troubleshoot challenges and support centres that are having difficulty accessing resources, registering their course(s) and/or learners.
• Support centres as they work through various policies and procedures. For example, the maintain and withdrawal procedures.
• Support Business Development strategies to meet agreed objectives and budgets.
• Utilise insight and reporting systems (various) to provide analysis and updates in relation to learner registrations and other centre insight metrics.
• Ensure sales planning, pipeline and forecasting exercises are completed on a regular basis, including annual budgeting to maximise learner and programme registration opportunities.
• Any other centre-facing tasks that need completing at various times of the year.
• To carry out any other duties as requested to support the work of the Leadership Skills Foundation commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of the post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training.

Mind The Gap Emotional Health Support offers young people an alternative way of accessing mental health support. The service offers support to young people who are struggling to find or engage with the right services. This support offer is youth-work based non-clinical support. Working primarily from Worthing Library, you will deliver face-to-face sessions using evidence-based interventions to engage, educate and empower young people around issues affecting their emotional wellbeing.

Key responsibilities: 

• Offer 7 sessions of support to each young person, including initial needs assessment and weekly sessions
• Lead on facilitation of emotional well-being and psycho-educational groups
• Support young people transitioning from specialist CAMHS/AMHS services
• Work systemically with parents/carers, educators, and health professionals

As a Coordinator for our RNID Near You community service in Leicester City, you will focus and lead on developing and delivering our community service across the area through drop-ins offering:

• practical hearing aid support

About the role

The team work holistically with Carers to understand their individual circumstances and level of need. You’ll carry out home visits and community-based meetings, co-produce support plans, and develop effective relationships with Carers, families, and professionals. You will also support Carers to complete written forms and applications, draft letters, and advocate with third parties.

You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will also support the development of escalation plans so that Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.

Together with colleagues, you will plan and deliver the service’s activity package, including coffee mornings, drop-in sessions, activities, online and face to face groups, and peer support forums. There will also be opportunities to promote the service by attending meetings and forums, and to deliver training sessions to professionals and community organisations so that they have the skills to identify Carers.

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced safeguarding professional to work as Cathedral Safeguarding Officer.

The post-holder will work with the Canon Chancellor in his role as Chapter Safeguarding Lead (CSL) to raise and maintain awareness and understanding throughout the Cathedral community of the safeguarding needs of children and adults, and actively promote a culture to ensure that safeguarding is of paramount importance.

The post holder will work closely and collaboratively with the Diocesan Safeguarding Team and other Safeguarding bodies.

As part of their role, the Cathedral Safeguarding Officer (CSO) will work closely with the CSL, the Diocesan Safeguarding Team including the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel (DSAP) and the Diocesan Safeguarding Executive Committee (SEC); all other relevant stakeholders including Chapter, Residentiary Canons, staff, the Senior Management Group, Cathedral Safeguarding Committee, King’s School Rochester, and all relevant external agencies, e.g., CofE National Safeguarding Team (NST), Police and Probation services, local authorities, Domestic Abuse Services.  A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is in place between the Cathedral and Diocese concerning shared working relationships and adherence to Diocesan Polices and use of the National Case Management System.

Are you dynamic and resourceful? Are you motivated by helping people to help themselves? Can you enthuse a volunteer team to support people experiencing complex and emotionally demanding issues? We’re seeking a Service Manager to maintain and develop our remote services from our office in Nottingham. 

You will be an excellent communicator, as well as a practical, well organised and hardworking individual, preferably with experience in the voluntary sector or equivalent transferable experience.

Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, you will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting volunteers to deliver a service to Litigants in Person, facilitating day-to-day operations, and building and sustaining relationships with key contacts at our partner university and the national court service, as well as providing line management to our Volunteer Support Coordinator.

Our newly created role of Director of Technology will join our Senior Leadership Team, and will be responsible for our technology strategy. This includes leading the Full Stack and IT teams to develop the technology infrastructure that supports RNID’s work, and to develop tools that directly support our communities. It’s an exciting time to be joining, as you will lead our AI programme, ensuring the charity takes full advantage of emerging opportunities to increase our efficiency and effectiveness.  

You will: 

1. Lead and develop a high performing team of technology experts, developers and IT specialists.

2. Lead the technical delivery of our digital product roadmaps (like our online hearing check).

3. Ensure our technology infrastructure is resilient, secure, and meets our needs.

4. Ensure that RNID understands the opportunities and threats posed by AI, leading our AI programme

5. Be an active member of our Senior Leadership Team supporting the overall delivery of our strategic plans and driving performance.

We are looking for someone who:

1. Has presence and credibility as a senior leader, able to inspire confidence with deep technology expertise.

2. Builds relationships internally, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business objectives and requirements.

3. Has proven experience leading full stack development and overseeing business critical technologies, as well as experience of leveraging AI to meet business objectives.

4. Is passionate about RNID, what we do and the role of technology in creating impact for our communities.

Programme Manager (Part-time, 4 days/week — 12-month contract)

The Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) is a community-led CIC supporting East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) migrants and refugees in the UK. We work to build an equitable society where ESEA communities thrive.

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead our programme team, deliver high-impact community services and advocacy projects, and strengthen partnerships across the sector. This role is central to coordinating multiple projects, managing staff, developing proposals, overseeing budgets, ensuring monitoring and evaluation, and representing SEEAC publicly with partners, media and stakeholders. The post works closely with the Executive Director and Partnership Development Manager, including on fundraising.

About you:
You bring 5+ years’ experience leading programme design, delivery, monitoring and reporting plus people management experience and strong communication, organisational and financial skills. You are confident engaging with diverse communities, funders and public audiences, and committed to safeguarding and data protection. Knowledge of issues affecting migrants and refugees (e.g., employment rights, discrimination, health inequality) and strong writing skills are essential. Experience with ESEA communities or other minoritised groups is highly desirable, as is lived experience of migration-related issues.
