What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Lead the end-to-end planning, delivery and evaluation of the charity's London Marathon fundraising programme.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, risk registers and reporting mechanisms.
• Ensure effective governance and project management processes are in place to deliver programme objectives.
• Maximise fundraising income from London Marathon participants through effective supporter journeys, communications and stewardship.
• Work closely with fundraising colleagues to ensure the marathon programme complements and strengthens wider fundraising objectives.
• Create and deliver a high-quality supporter experience that inspires, motivates and retains participants as supporters.

• Proven experience in project management, ideally within fundraising, events or the charity sector.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to evaluation.

Team background

The Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space (MHCBS) team at Toynbee Hall is part of a national initiative launched in partnership with We Are Group and The Kaleidoscope Plus Group, funded by the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS). This service provides individuals undergoing mental health crisis treatment with temporary protection from debt collection activities, allowing them a “breathing space” to focus on their recovery without the immediate pressures of financial obligations. Toynbee Hall contributes to this initiative by offering regulated debt advice, conducting renewal checks, and providing comprehensive signposting support, ensuring that clients receive holistic assistance during their crisis period.

Scope of the Role

The Administration Coordinator provides crucial support to the Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space (MHCBS) team by managing administrative processes efficiently. The role focuses on handling key back-office tasks that enable the team to deliver timely and accurate support to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate team inboxes and triage emails to appropriate team members or stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate responses within SLAs – handling routine enquiries as standard and more complex enquiries as directed.
• Coordinate team tasks in AdvicePro, resolving issues, issuing or preparing correspondence, and highlighting urgent or non-standard cases for direction and resolution.
• Ensure CRM is maintained with accurate client and case information, running reports for management to review cases, prepare MI returns and support invoicing routines.
• Resolve or triage enquiries via the Insolvency Service portal, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Process incoming MHCBS applications and handle scheme closures using standard operating procedures, escalating non-standard issues or cases for direction and resolving issues.
• Support accurate reporting by ensuring high data integrity and flagging inconsistencies.
• Coordinate administrative needs for team meetings, external engagements, and cross-agency communication.

Advice & Information Helpline Worker (Mental Health)

£26,229 per annum (full time equivalent), £13,115 to £20,983 pro rata for 18.75 to 30 hours per week

The Helpline is open 7 days per week with a rolling rota consisting of shifts from 9am to 5pm and 3pm to 11pm, including weekends. Please note that this is an on-site role at the specified location. Remote working is not available for this position.

Our client is a leading provider of mental health services in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

As a Helpline Worker, you will be providing support for those experiencing mental health difficulties through our clients helpline service. The helpline supports people living in the Birmingham and Solihull area.

The support offered will include (but is not exclusive to), receiving calls, emails and webchat from people who may be experiencing crisis, people looking for more general assistance and information about services, carers looking for advice and services, and other community support services. You will provide appropriate referrals and signposting information about our clients services and external partner agencies.

You will be working in a community focused way to ensure that statutory and local organisations are aware of the provision, ensuring that you retain close and effective links with them as well as keeping up to date with any pertinent changes to local provision.

The helpline is a 7 day a week service from 9am -5pm and 3pm -11pm. Under the direction of the service manager, you will support the running of the service in line with contractual requirements, our clients Vision and Values, its operating Policy and Procedures, and any relevant legal requirements.

You will have at least 6 months’ experience in the mental health field, with experience of supporting people to be in control of their lives. Interim Finance Director | Immediate Start | 7-Month FTC

A pivotal finance leadership role with purpose!

We’re partnering with a highly respected UK charity to appoint an **Interim Finance Director on a 7-month FTC**, this is a full-time, London based hybrid role, starting immediately, during an important period of organisational transition.

This is a hands-on leadership role where **financial resilience, governance and positive change** genuinely matter. The organisation provides supported housing and support to vulnerable and disabled veterans, helping those who have served their country to live with independence, dignity and wellbeing.

The opportunity

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Team, Board and Finance, HR, Audit & Risk Committee, you’ll lead a broad finance transformation and improvement agenda.

Key priorities include:

• Leading and strengthening the finance function
• Completing and embedding outstanding external audit actions
• Developing a robust **five-year financial strategy** and leading the **2027/28 budget**
• Creating a credible pathway from current deficit positions towards sustainable operating surplus
• Refreshing the Finance Manual and financial policies, controls and procedures
• Leading internal audit and assurance
• Improving management accounts, forecasting, KPIs and Board reporting
• Providing executive oversight of finance and IT systems, including **Pyramid implementation**
• Advising the CEO, Board and Committee with clear, decision-focused financial insight
• Building a confident, collaborative and high-performing finance team

What we’re looking for

You’ll be a **fully qualified accountant** with significant senior financial leadership experience, including working with Boards and Audit/Risk Committees.

You’ll bring strong experience across **financial strategy, budgeting, controls, audit, governance, forecasting and organisational change**, with the ability to turn complex financial information into clear, actionable advice.

Reconnect Worker

We are seeking a compassionate Reconnect Worker to make a real, immediate impact by helping young people and families rebuild relationships, reduce conflict and prevent homelessness before it begins.

Position: Reconnect Worker
Salary: £11,177.20 per annum
Location: North Tyneside, with travel across the North East
Hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

About the role

As Reconnect Worker, you will provide family support and mediation to young people aged 11 to 25 and their families during periods of conflict, crisis or relationship breakdown.

Working across schools, Nightstop placements and Depaul UK services, you will help improve communication, strengthen family relationships and reduce the risk of youth homelessness.

Key responsibilities include:

· Providing focused family support and mediation

· Managing a small caseload of young people and families

· Completing risk and needs assessments

· Developing structured support plans with measurable outcomes

· Supporting families to resolve conflict and rebuild stability

· Working with schools, local authorities, Nightstop hosts and other agencies

· Developing effective referral pathways

· Advocating for young people and families when safeguarding concerns arise

· Maintaining accurate case records and monitoring progress

· Following safeguarding, equality, health and safety and lone-working procedures

· Contributing to service development, peer learning and reflective practice

The role requires independent travel and working from different locations across the North East.

About you

You will have significant experience supporting young people and families experiencing conflict or crisis. You will be reflective, creative and solution-focused, with the ability to remain impartial during challenging situations.

You will also have:

· Experience managing a caseload and working independently

· Experience completing risk assessments, needs assessments and support plans

· Strong relationship-building skills

· The ability to work collaboratively with external agencies

· Excellent organisation and case-recording skills

· A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries

· A commitment to strengths-based support

You will hold a Level 4 Interpersonal Mediation Practitioner’s Certificate or be willing to complete the qualification before the end of your probation period. Training will be provided if required.

Experience delivering family mediation and an understanding of youth homelessness would be advantageous.

The Impact You’ll Make

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be on the frontline of providing a safe, trauma-informed service for vulnerable adults in Southampton who are rough sleeping or at immediate risk of it. You will be the steady presence throughout the night, ensuring service users who have no other safe housing options feel welcomed and secure.

Your role is vital to the smooth running of the shelter, from the initial intake at 20:30 through to the morning transition. Whether you are conducting security patrols, assisting with housing management, or simply offering emotional support and de-escalation, your work directly contributes to a safe environment where individuals can begin their journey away from the streets.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for compassionate, resilient individuals who understand the complexities of homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse. You should be someone who remains calm under pressure and can handle challenging behaviour with a professional, trauma-informed approach.

As this role involves a "4 on, 4 off" night shift pattern, you must be comfortable working independently during the night while maintaining strong communication with your wider team and the Operational Security Team. We value staff who take initiative, maintain clear professional boundaries, and are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our service users.

Essential Qualities and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• Experience & Knowledge: A background in working with vulnerable adults and an understanding of safeguarding, protection protocols, and lone working procedures.
• Communication: The ability to listen and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, including providing clear handovers regarding risks.
• Crisis Management: Confidence in using your initiative to respond to emergencies and the ability to carry out risk assessments and management plans.
• Administrative & IT Literacy: Sufficient IT skills to use data management systems (INFORM), update online handovers, and complete incident reports by the end of your shift.
• Commitment to Safety: A proactive approach to health and safety, including a willingness to undertake training in administering naloxone and acting as a Fire Warden or First Aider.
• Practicality: Willingness to assist with site management, including setting out breakfast, managing laundry/linen, and ensuring communal areas remain clean.

About the Role

As Member Network Account Manager, you will be the main contact for several Member Networks. This includes advising on governance, finance, volunteer recruitment, events and wider activity planning. You will also build strong relationships, coordinate events, and work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to ensure Member Networks are supported effectively and can achieve their objectives.

A day in the life may include:

• Advising and guiding volunteers on governance, finance, awards, planning and compliance matters
