What you'll be doing:

We are looking for an experienced, relationship-led Philanthropy Manager to join the Fundraising Team at the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO). Join us in developing our portfolio of major donors at a time when investment and commitment to strategically transforming our programme is high.
In this role, you’ll focus on high-value relationships of £10,000 and above, with opportunities to collaborate on organisation-wide projects. You’ll identify, cultivate and steward major donors and work with teams across the charity to create inspiring supporter relationships
This role also holds responsibility for curating meaningful events that steward our generous donors and encourage their support of BTO. The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income. Hybrid working

The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Head of Finance and Operations who will play a crucial role in steering our financial and operational functions. Working closely with our senior management team, you will combine strategic insights with hands-on delivery, ensuring the efficient management of our financial systems, governance, and HR processes. Key Responsibilities:

About You:

- Strong understanding of governance and compliance within a charity context, alongside experience in HR administration.

Open Doors provides adults with learning disabilities who have completed a supported internship with a seven month paid placement at the Walnut Tree Café, alongside personalised support to help them progress into sustainable paid employment.
As a Job Coach, you will work closely with participants, the Café Manager and the wider SEACC team to build confidence, develop workplace skills and support participants on their journey into employment.
During the early stages of the programme, you will attend café shifts to provide on-the-job coaching and support. As participants become more confident and independent, your support will gradually reduce, with a greater focus on employment planning, job searching and supporting participants to move into paid work beyond SEACC.
