About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Lebanon.
To provide supporters who contact MAP with exceptional supporter care through enquiry handling, and income thanking and processing. Maximise long-term support by ensuring every supporter feels valued at MAP. Support the Fundraising and Marketing Team with the maintenance of customer records and transactions using MAP's fundraising database: Microsoft Dynamics.
About You

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporter Experience and Relationship Management
- Respond to supporter enquiries received by telephone, letter, email and social media, delivering a high-quality, empathetic and efficient service.
- Ensure interactions with supporters are engaging and supporter-centric at all times.
Income and Data Processing
- Process donations from multiple income streams, such as cheques, cash, and online card payments, ensuring supporters are thanked according to internal processes.
- Support with the development and maintenance of process documents.
- Maintain supporter and organisational records in our database, Microsoft Dynamics. Use data securely and in line with best practice data protection principles and GDPR.
- Help MAP to maximise return from the Gift Aid scheme by ensuring declarations are added correctly and updated where necessary.
- Open and process post received, bank cheques and cash donations received at MAP’s head office.
General responsibilities
- Develop & maintain effective working relationships with colleagues in and outside of the Fundraising and Marketing Team. Regularly communicate across teams to ensure information shared with supporters is accurate and up to date.

Background Information and Purpose of Post
This post is a pivotal role in enabling HI UK to maximise our income from individual donors, regular donors and other supporters, via excellent donor care and accurate, up-to-date data.
The purpose of the post is to:

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Data entry
· Input donations, pledges and other donor data into the fundraising database (Advantage Fundraiser) and assess the accuracy and validity of the data.
· Input and set up regular donations accurately.
· Reconcile finances at the end of each month with the support of the Fundraising Manager
· Manage and maintain up to date records for Gift Aid.
· General database housekeeping tasks.
· Compile and present accurate queries and reports as needed by the team.
Donor care and communications
· Be the first point of contact for all existing and prospective donors and represent HI UK in an efficient, effective and professional way.
· Provide individual donor care, including answering queries and dealing with complaints.
· Draft, produce and send written correspondence such as emails, thank you letters and other relevant documents for donors.
· Review and update call-handling procedures for use by all staff members.
· Improve knowledge and understanding of supporters and develop donor relationships.
· Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection legislation in all processes and activities.
· Work with the Media Officer to maintain HIUK’s social media presence to increase supporter engagement in line with our Individual Giving and Communications strategy.
· Respond to enquiries via social media and moderate comments.
Administrative support
· Provide general administrative support to the Individual Giving and Communications team.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of effective processes and automation between the Fundraising, Communication and Finance team members.
· Review and update Fundraising and Database guidelines.
· Maintain an efficient record-keeping system for donation forms, including saving electronic copies of donations and Gift Aid declarations.
· Resolve queries about donations (e.g. unsigned cheques).
· Support the weekly reconciliation of donations with the Finance department (i.e. ensuring that what is banked matches the fundraising database).
Volunteers
· Assist with the recruitment and induction of Fundraising volunteers.
· Support, guide and supervise fundraising volunteers on a daily basis.
· Work with volunteers to manage stationary and stock levels.
Other
· Participate in internal/external meetings and other functions as necessary.

About the role
We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.
This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.
You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.
Bristol and Somerset is an area filled with some of our most committed supporters but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Bristol hospitals, so building relationships with these teams are a must.

The Senior Fundraising Support & Services Manager will lead a team of two Fundraising Support Executives, providing pre-award support to income-generating teams in the UK, USA and internationally. The postholder will oversee the structuring, costing, and management of proposals and funding agreements, lead pledge administration and philanthropic scholarship processes, and improve operational processes. Hours: 35 hours per week (with occasional weekend and evening working as and when the role requires)
Location: This is a hybrid role, with regular travel required across the North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire regions, including visits to our charity shops and centres. Weekend and evening work will be expected, as and when the role requires. Post holders will be expected to be working flexibly across their community 4 days out of 5 – with at least one day per week from our North Lincolnshire Centre – and attend regular team meetings in an agreed location.
Due to the scope and nature of the role, you will need to live within, or in close proximity to, North Lincolnshire. You will be required to have a valid driving license and access to a car to enable you to travel freely across the area without reliance on public transport.

We are looking for a proactive, confident and supporter-focused fundraiser to build and manage relations with JGDR’s local community across North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire. Your role
You will sit in the Volunteering and Community Fundraising team, and report to the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager. You will manage your own time to effectively balance both developing and stewarding relationships with individual and corporate supporters in the local area and working through a network of volunteers to deliver fundraising and retail objectives.
You will develop and grow strong relationships with supporters, collaborating with colleagues across the wider organisation to ensure you are offering the best supporter experience you can. You will attend local events with, and through, volunteers, work with colleagues in our retail and operation sites, and spot other opportunities to promote JGDR in your community and drive support for our work.
You will deliver excellent stewardship to supporters and volunteers and develop relationships with key local contacts who can help to further JGDR’s mission. You will champion supporter care and ensure that all relevant supporter information is stored on JGDR’s CRM, Donorflex.
Key responsibilities
Community fundraising
· Identify, engage, and steward DIY and community fundraisers, developing strategies to promote fundraising activities in these groups and grow income from your local area
· Proactively pursue local business partnership opportunities, developing a pipeline of potential corporate support and making applications to secure support
· Provide high quality stewardship of supporters, groups and businesses within the community, responding to enquiries in a timely way and ensuring relationships are developed and maintained at a high standard
· Represent JGDR as the first point of contact within the community, promoting our mission, vision, and values alongside fundraising and volunteer opportunities
· Ensure that Donorflex is up-to-date and develop regular reporting mechanisms to inform the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager of outputs and results, and support understanding of the local audiences, including individual supporters, local businesses, and volunteers, and their historical engagement with the charity
Volunteering
· Work with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager and Volunteering Administration Assistant to recruit, induct and train volunteers to support fundraising and other relevant initiatives in the local community
· Via volunteer support, oversee the distribution of collection boxes in your local area, monitoring and reporting on income generated
· Coordinate and attend – supported by a network of volunteers – key local events, e.g. county shows, to raise awareness of JGDR in the local community and drive support for the charity amongst target audience groups.
· Ensure JGDR retail shops, and their volunteers, in your area have relevant and timely information on current fundraising campaigns and other initiatives to share with customers
· Ensure that the Volunteering database, Volunteero, is up to date
Other duties
· Contribute content for social media, fundraising newsletters, publications and local media to support marketing objectives and increase our engagement with adopters, supporters and donors online
· Keep up to date with sector trends and developments in community and regional fundraising, and volunteering
· Ensure all fundraising activities and events operate within best practice and regulatory guidelines and comply with health and safety requirements.
· Act as a champion for fundraising compliance across the organisation, including ensuring adherence to the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice, the General Data Protection Act and PECR, and other relevant legislative requirements.
· Manage any complaints from supporters efficiently and sensitively
· Act as a collaborative role model to the wider team, and build strong working relationships with colleagues across the wider charity to be an internal ambassador for Fundraising and Marketing

About the role:
We are looking for a very confident, outgoing go-getter who loves using their gregarious personality to influence and enthuse people to get results but also enjoys being organised with strong admin processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has been involved in influencing organisations, businesses and groups or individuals to sign up to our range of challenge events, such as marathons etc. You will be a part of a small but dynamic marketing and fundraising team and working with another Events and Engagement Officer colleague (who works 2 days a week), you both will be focusing mainly on filling and retaining places for our challenge events.

Job Title: Team Assistant
Reports to: Project Manager
Location: Central London – Hybrid 60% Office, 40% Working from Home
Contract type: 18 months FTC
Salary: £25 -30k
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Holiday: 25 days per annum plus public holidays
