About the Role:
As a Domestic Violence and Abuse Co-ordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse to rebuild their lives. Working holistically, you’ll carry out in‑depth needs assessments and develop tailored support plans that reflect each individual’s circumstances, strengths, and goals.
You’ll provide compassionate, trauma‑informed case management, advocacy, and resettlement support for people with a wide range of complex social and housing needs. From navigating services and securing safe accommodation to monitoring progress and celebrating milestones, you’ll walk alongside survivors every step of the way — empowering them to move forward with safety, dignity, and confidence.

What you’ll be doing:
Conduct key works sessions on a regular basis whilst developing individual support and risk management plans.
Establish the risks and needs of survivors and their children through assessing their practical and emotional support needs.
Champion safeguarding by following policies and procedures to keep everyone safe, and that any concerns are brought to immediate attention of a manager.
Collaborative multi-agency working to advocate for survivors ensuring their needs are met.
Maintain accurate client records using our system, INFORM.

As an IAG Facilitator, your responsibilities include but are not limited to;
As one of two IAG Facilitators, you’ll support volunteers to ensure that the service is running efficiently. You will be in regular contact with clients both interested in and accessing the service to make sure they have adequate support. This may include referrals and signposting to additional or alternative mental health and social support services.

We are looking for a part-time Communications Manager to support MDP in the communication of our work through social media, press engagement, community storytelling, and organisational communications.
To build migrant power, we need strategic, sharp, engaging, and sometimes humorous content on migrant justice and democracy in the UK. We need to tell the stories of our communities and why the right to vote is essential to different audiences through different channels - online and in the press. This role is perfect for creatives who have skills in graphic design, video editing, and copywriting; and can support the team with creative brainstorming on the latest social media trends, meme formats, cultural references, and political opportunities for posting. You will also manage MDP’s newsletter and website.
TERMS AND BENEFITS
Fixed term contract for 12 months (with the possibility of extension depending on future grants), £38,000 pro rata (equivalent to £30,400 per year), with a September or October 2026 start.

At Equal Lives, we're looking for an Independent Living Adviser to join our Suffolk Independent Living Service. This rewarding role supports people who use Direct Payments and personal budgets to arrange and manage their own care and support, giving them greater choice, control and independence.
You'll provide information, advice and guidance on a range of topics including Direct Payments, support planning, recruiting and employing Personal Assistants, and managing support arrangements. You'll work closely with individuals, families, professionals and community organisations to help people achieve positive outcomes and live independently.
We're looking for someone who:
Is passionate about equality, empowerment and the Social Model of Disability.
Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Can manage a varied workload and respond to enquiries in a professional and person-centred way.
Has experience or knowledge of HR, recruitment, employment practices or supporting people to employ staff.
Is confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
Can work independently whilst contributing positively to a wider team.
Has a full, clean driving licence and is willing to travel across Suffolk.
Knowledge of Direct Payments, personal budgets or independent living services would be beneficial, but training will be provided on our specific services.

Salary: £25,877.80 rising to £26,357.15 per annum after 6 month probation period
Contract Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours and working pattern: 08:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday
Location: Office based during probation with possibility of hybrid working after this.
Office location: IP City Centre, Bath Street, Ipswich, IP2 8SD
Some travel is required for visiting service users in their homes or other locations, so a full and clean driving license is required.
