JOB PURPOSE 

UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an ambitious and proactive Corporate Partnerships Manager to join the Private Partnerships & Philanthropy team. 

In this exciting role, you will lead on the management of a number of our existing and new relationships with companies to create and grow mutually beneficial, multi-year partnerships, playing a key part in the success of our annual fundraising programme. You will enjoy developing strong relationships and have excellent communication and problem- solving skills. You will be a confident communicator with a track record of meeting and exceeding financial targets. 

You will line manage the PPH Coordinator, with responsibility for managing performance and supporting their development.

This role is predominately an account management post, with some new business development.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES 

• Lead on the management of a number of high value strategic corporate partnerships, liaising across departments and virtual teams to monitor, evaluate and report on progress against partnership KPIs, targets, activities and budgets. 
• Develop annual and multi-year budgets and plans for partners. 
• Identify opportunities for partnership visibility and communications, and where possible employee engagement. 
• Manage a portfolio of partnerships, providing first-class relationship management and maximising value, including financial, advocacy, pro bono and in-kind support. 
• Work with existing corporate engagement products and develop new employee fundraising ideas. 
• Research new trends and innovations and emerging areas of interest for corporate partners. 
• Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying and responding to fundraising opportunities. 
• Initiate, organise and coordinate a calendar of cultivation and stewardship events and identify visibility opportunities for UK for UNHCR. 
• Manage the PPH Coordinator, ensuring they are develop and supported to deliver on performance targets. 
• Collaborate with UK and international Private Partnerships & Philanthropy colleagues where possible to strengthen engagement with partners and prospects across channels. 
• Work within UK4U’s due diligence policy and GDPR policies and processes. 
• Support new business prospecting, research and cultivation. 
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate data on donors on Salesforce and SharePoint

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
Essential Experience 

• A track record of developing partnerships and managing relationships with corporate partners to deliver high value, muti-year corporate partnership(s). 
• A track record of devising and delivering bespoke and engaging partnership fundraising plans and campaigns to grow income and engagement. 
• Experience of communicating complex themes and subjects to a variety of audiences, written and verbal in an engaging and motivating way. 
• Experience of event management and co-ordination to engage corporates and their employees
• Line management of one or more team members. 

Essential Skills/Knowledge 

• Ability to act proactively to identify new engagement and fundraising opportunities; 
• Ability to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines within a collaborative team environment; 
• Good attention to detail, strong ability to proof-read and pick up inconsistencies; 
• Able to demonstrate flexibility, with a willingness to respond quickly, particularly at times of humanitarian crisis;

Are you a fundraising manager with experience in mass participation events? We’re hiring for a Senior Fundraising Manager to lead our Owned Events and Products team. This is a 12-month maternity cover contract.
 
You’ll be leading the Owned Events & Products team in the development and delivery of bespoke event, campaigns and products including our flagship event RBC Race for the Kids. You’ll work across the wider Fundraising and Marcomms teams, and with external stakeholders to lead a team to deliver new and existing products, meet ambitious targets and provide an exceptional supporter experience.
 
About You
 

• You’ll be a strong people manager and competent working with multiple stakeholders. 
• You’ll also be an experienced fundraiser, used to working towards ambitious targets, with a passion for event delivery, new product innovation and excellent supporter experience.

Owned Events & Products raise significant income and the team is a crucial part of the Mass Participation department, which sits within public fundraising. The Mass Participation department is also responsible for 3rd Party challenges events and virtual events, raising £6m per year overall.

Main responsibilities will include:

Prospecting and research

• Research the funding market, tracking and identifying suitable high value tendering, commissioning and partnership opportunities and funding streams, in line with Artswork’s strategic plans, priorities, Fundraising and Social & Ethical Policies

• Conduct regular, timely reviews of published tenders and funding opportunities, in order to make recommendations to the Head of Business Development on which ones to pursue

• Establish a focused, qualified pipeline of prospective funders, investors, sponsors and donors Bid development

• Working to the strategic guidance of the Head of Business Development, prepare funding bids, tenders and sponsorship proposals, meeting funders' procurement and management requirements

• Develop realistic, costed delivery plans and budgets for proposals, working with the Head of Budgets, Contracts & Policy

Will you join us?

Mind's Partnerships Fundraising team - part of the wider fundraising directorate - is responsible for generating income from major donors, charitable trusts and foundations, the statutory and corporate sectors.

The New Corporate Partnerships team is comprised of a head of team, two senior managers, two senior officers, three officers and one assistant.

The New Corporate Partnerships team has been at the forefront of securing some fantastic partnerships for Mind such as, Allianz, Bupa, Co-op, Direct Line, Dunelm, ITV, McLaren Racing, and McVitie's, to name a few. Our partnerships cover the spectrum of partnership types; strategic and Charity of the Year partnerships (COTYs) and brand and commercial partnerships. You will help us build on our success.

In these unprecedented and challenging times, Mind is and will be needed more than ever. Our corporate partnerships play a huge role by helping us, raise income to achieve our strategic goals and adding value to businesses and society through our partnerships, including raising public awareness and reaching new audiences.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

Working with the Head of New Partnerships, the New Corporate Partnerships Manager will:

-Help develop and implement the Corporate Partnerships team's new partnerships strategy, working closely with the Head of New Corporate Partnerships and other team members.

-In year one, be accountable for delivering an individual income target for 22/23 and supporting the overall New Partnerships Teams' multi-year income targets and ROI, working with the Head of New Corporate Partnerships and reviewing progress on a monthly and quarterly basis.

-Lead and develop opportunities from the Charity of the Year (COTY) and commercial/strategic pipeline, including developing and stewarding relationships, submitting proposals, leading on pitches, while working with various teams across Mind.

-Project Manage high level bids, to engage internal teams, create clear project plans including: roles and responsibilities, senior stakeholder briefing and internal feedback.

-Identify networking opportunities across Mind and externally for potential corporate partnerships

-Develop stewardship plans for top prospects, including Mind senior leadership and trustee engagement and roles, taking a collaborative approach and balancing impact and effort across opportunities

-Line manage two New Corporate Partnerships Officers who will support with the development of pitches and lead their own opportunities with your support

-Lead and assist with the design of new partnership agreements with companies to ensure that expectations from both parties are met and the interests of Mind are looked after, and risks are mitigated.

-Work proactively with the Corporate Partnerships team managers and support the wider team to renew, deliver and grow holistic, donor-focused partnerships where appropriate.

-Work with colleagues across Mind to identify the potential and manage the risk in new partnerships, ensuring that Mind's ethical policy and charity legislation is adhered to.

-Monitor, analyse and review information on industry trends, innovations and developments, keeping the pipeline updated.

-Represent the Partnerships team in appropriate working groups, workshops and/or meetings/other events as directed.

-Monitor and evaluate new business activity and provide regular updates/reports to the Head of New Corporate Partnerships.

-To use the CRM database to enter, update and extract accurate information to maximise operational benefits and opportunities from the database system.

-To support the new partnerships team and have delegated responsibility from time to time, in the absence of the Head of New Partnerships.

-To undertake other duties that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature and grade of this post.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Fundraising manager to take on the well established fundraising of our organisation and further drive the growth of our donations and income base. The role will manage our communications, website and social media channels increasing engagement with key audience groups.

The Welcome Centre is an independent charity providing crisis support in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. We run a large food bank operation providing practical support. We also have an in-house Advice, Guidance & Support team who work with the people accessing our food bank to help improve their longer term circumstances. We have a grand opportunity for someone looking to grow their charity experience - As our Fundraising Officer, you'll generate income by creating exceptional written applications and reports. To do this, you'll dive into research, keeping tabs on all fundraising opportunities, as well as crafting strong grant proposals, which is a key aspect of this role. You'll also need to bring in new corporate supporters by building new relationships/sponsorships as well as maintaining existing ones.

• Developing an individual giving strategy that builds on previous successes and learnings, which looks to significantly grow our contactable community over the next three years and maximise the lifetime value of our donors.

• Managing and developing our lottery income and our relationship with Local Hospice Lottery
• Developing engaging supporter journeys for key audiences to encourage repeat giving
• Managing the development of the income and expenditure budget for our IG programme

This role will be working with internal teams, external suppliers, and third-party providers to develop and test propositions.  The post holder will work to acquire new donors and suppliers, segment our data, and maximise insight into our donors to support our growing individual giving stream.  We have ambitious targets for this programme and lots of opportunities and an appetite to test and learn.

At The Compassionate Friends (TCF) we are passionate about providing peer support to grieving parents and their families whose son or daughter has died at any age (from one month old to an adult) and from any cause. We offer this supprot through our network of over 300 dedicated volunteers who are themeselves bereaved parents or siblings. We are now seeking an Events & Community Fundraiser to join our small, but dedicated and hardworking, staff team to help us to develop our funding to continue his vital work. In this exciting and diverse role, you will be leading on the recruitment and stewardship of individual fundraisers and fundraising groups undertaking challenge events, digital fundraising and other community fundraising initiatives. 

Just some of the activities you will be working on include:

o   Taking ownership of community and events fundraising at The Compassionate Friends, including preparing an annual plan, and incorporating digital fundraising alongside traditional methods.

o   Managing existing and introducing new challenge and fundraising events to grow the events programme, This will include attending some key fundraising events.

o   Managing a programme of community fundraising, including relationships with various community groups.

o Building and maintaining effective relationships, delivering excellent support care and stewardship to donors, fundraisers, community groups, and partner organisations. Researching and designing new fundraising events, initiatives and products .

o Writing inspiring content for supporter communications, social media and website content

This role is for you if you have experience or transferable skills around planning, organising and delivering fundraising campaigns and activities, proven experience or skills in delivering income growth in an events and/or community fundraising setting and knowledge of online fundraising tools, digital marketing and social media.. In the last few years Mind's Corporate Partnership team has seen significant growth, delivering £7m+ income in FY22/23. Mind has strategic, Charity of the Year and commercial partnerships with companies across a range of sectors.

We are looking for an experienced and creative partnerships officer, to join our high performing and fast paced team at an incredibly exciting time. You will be managing and supporting a varied and interesting range of partnerships including existing and brand-new partnerships.

The Corporate Partnerships team consists of Partnerships Management, Planning and Development and New Partnerships team. This role reports into a Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

As a skilled relationship officer, you'll work with your manager to provide first-rate partnership management, developing creative fundraising and engagement plans to excite and inspire your team. You will work to deliver outstanding donor led stewardship and activate campaigns to generate income. You will work collaboratively with staff across Mind, together with other stakeholders and external contacts to maximise income and other opportunities for Mind.

Working both independently and with support from your line manager:

-Steward, renew and grow a portfolio of corporate partnerships at Mind, effectively planning, developing and delivering the partnerships to maximise income and wider benefits for Mind.

-Develop and implement a fundraising and engagement plan to maximise income and added value over the course of partnerships, deliver donor-focused stewardship so partners want to stay with Mind.

-Collaborate with internal teams to maximise potential and deliver mutually beneficial partnerships, e.g. communications, celebrities and PR, pro bono and gift in kind, lived experience, finance, events, services and wider engagement

-Adapt and promote Mind's core campaigns and activities to partners to engage partners with our cause and deliver excellent stewardship, working with the Planning and Development team

-Lead or assist with the creation of innovative fundraising initiatives, assets and materials to engage and inspire our partners

-Report back on how our partners' support has made a difference, demonstrating a clear understanding of the breadth and depth of Mind's work and the projects they're supporting.

-Track and monitor income and expenditure budgets to ensure income targets are met, flagging any variances to your line manager in good time. Work efficiently with Finance and Supporter Care to deliver accurate reporting.

-Work with your manager and Corporate Partnership team leadership to develop and deliver effective leadership stewardship plans

-Work with your manager to manage risk in new and existing partnerships and to ensure that Mind's corporate policy is adhered to.

-Work with your line manager to research and help develop proposals and presentations for potential corporate partners and renewals, working with the New Partnerships team.

-Assist with the organisation of events connected with the Partnerships fundraising team, and with practical tasks for other departmental events, as required.

-To work closely with Corporate Partnerships Officers across the three sub teams in Partnerships Management and wider team colleagues to share best practice, resource and learnings, and where necessary, support with partnerships

-Represent the Partnerships team in appropriate working groups, workshops and/or meetings/other events as directed.

We are looking for an Events Fundraising Officer for an incredible mental health charity to play a pivotal role in the Community and Events Fundraising teams strategic objectives.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the either the London or Cardiff office. There is a permanant role available and there may be a 12 month contract with the team also.
