Job description

Blind Veterans UK believe every blind veteran should be able to lead the life they choose.  At Blind Veterans UK we’re one, transformational team. We provide rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support. Together we can help rebuild lives. 

We are currently looking for an experienced Research Assistant to support the Senior Research Associate in carrying out primary and secondary research, and collating and managing data sets. 

The Research Assistant will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with experience of qualitative and quantitative data collection and management.  You will need a degree and masters, in Social Sciences or allied sciences relevant to work within Social and Welfare Research, with previous experience in a research role or within an academic environment.  With highly developed data analysis and scientific writing skills, you must also be able to liaise with key stakeholders, building strong professional relationships for the charity. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing their career in research.
