Role: Facilities Manager

New Art Exchange (NAE) is a pioneering creative space in Hyson Green, Nottingham. We’re the UK’s largest gallery dedicated to contemporary visual arts from the Global Ethnic Majority. Purpose of the role

The Facilities Manager will be a key member of NAE’s operations team, responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of our 4-storey building (including gallery spaces, meeting rooms, performance space, workshop, artist studio, cafébar, plant room and technical storage) is fit for purpose.

Main duties of the role

Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), testing/inspections, and reactive repairs across all building services including but not limited to plumbing, electric wiring, HVAC, lifts, film alarm, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers and suppression systems, intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, pest control, etc, within budget.

Ensure NAE’s building is always well-presented, clean and aesthetically in a good state of repair, ensuring all areas are maintained in a tidy and well organised.

Responsible for the management of the facilities budget, including negotiating the best possible value across utilities, contracts and service level agreements.

Ensure all maintenance and service works take place with agreed SLA’s, is delivered on time and to budget and service reports and other filing is well managed.

Responsible for Health and Safety across the building and organisation including health and safety policy, fire strategy, risk assessments covering all areas of the building and specific RAs for each event, safe systems of work, accident/incident reports and compliant filing.

Responsible for building security systems, keys and fobs, alarm monitoring and keyholding services, and alongside the General Manager oversee emergency procedures & act as a fire warden.

Responsible for premises cleaning (including line management of two part-time cleaners) and associated services such as waste management and sanitary collections.

Support the Executive Director to develop and implement an Environmental Policy to ensure that NAE considers the environment within all new and existing suppliers’ arrangements.Responsible for carbon footprint reporting.

The Community and Participation Manager will be a key member of NAE’s Neighbourhood’s team, responsible for ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of a wide range of community projects and events that engage and inspire our local communities (predominantly from the Global Ethnic Majority). Based from within NAE’s purpose built creative space, in the heart of one of Nottingham’s most diverse areas - Hyson Green, the post holder will work with local community partners, schools and other key stakeholders to ensure the community programme is representative of the diverse voices from our local communities and has their involvement through all that we do.

Main duties of the role

With strategic oversight from the Head of Neighbourhood develop and deliver a diverse range of activity with and for the community including (but not limited to) workshops, festivals, conferences, and functions, ensuring they are aligned with NAE’s overall vision, goals and budget.

Supporting the Head of Neighbourhoods to identify and secure external funding opportunities, sponsorships, and partnerships to support the events when required.

Act as lead contact with key stakeholders, including community groups, schools, partners, citizen panels, artists, vendors, and local authorities, to ensure smooth collaboration and communication.

Support the Comms team to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to raise awareness of projects and events with a focus on attracting diverse audiences.

Manage budgets and financial reporting for community projects, ensuring that expenses are within budget and that financial records are accurate and up to date. In line with the overarching Neighbourhoods strategy, develop project plans, budgets, and timelines and maintain accurate records.

Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and obtain necessary permits and licenses.

Lead project staff (including contracting and acting as project manager and day to day contact for them) which will consist of freelancers, contractors, and volunteers.

Track progress, address issues, and produce reports and evaluations for internal and external stakeholders, including NAE’s Senior Management Team and local community leaders.

Fundraising Manager – Job Description

Contract: 3 days a week

Time & Talents is a lively, busy community centre in the heart of Rotherhithe, SE16.  Set in a leafy heritage building, and ‘T&T2’, our second venue in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, we offer something for everyone. With a history of 137 years of supporting people of all ages in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, we bring people together for mutual support, fun and friendship with a wide range of services and activities for older people and other adults, along with volunteering and children and families’ projects.

T&T has grown substantially over the last 5 years, and we are in an exciting time for the charity. We are reviewing our long-term aims and changing local needs to ensure  programme delivery continues our extensive track record of positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities

Partnership liaison and relationship management

• Establish the primary local referral agencies and build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with them to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective

Oversight of Spear Programme

The Young People Programme Manager will work with the Creative Learning team at Factory International to develop, deliver and manage programmes of work with young people between the ages of 14 and 30. This role will be responsible for the delivery of key strategic partnerships with commercial brands, as well as developing new streams of work with a focus on sharing power through curatorial programme decision making, programming and youth governance.

Creative Learning develop and deliver learning programs with young people and children from Cradle to Creative (the age of 0 through to 30) with a focus on underrepresented children, young people and artists. All of our programmes have a social and emotional learning outcome and focus on improving mental health, wellbeing and resilience. Learning programmes are linked to Factory International artistic commissions with wider curatorial themes drawn out to align with social and emotional frameworks.

In the last 12 months, the team has worked with over 25,000 children and young people across Greater Manchester and the North.
 

Young People Programme Manager Responsibilities;

• Develop and deliver innovative, ambitious and transformational programmes for young people with a focus on wellbeing, mental health, and social/emotional learning
• Work with young people to develop their ideas into world class artistic productions
• Manage key strategic relationships, advocate and widen networks for our work across sectors including commercial, creative, educational, cultural and charitable
• Locate, recruit and manage some of the most exciting artists working locally, nationally and internationally to deliver on programmes, with a focus on artists that are underrepresented

Main Purpose of the Role 

The main objectives of the Corporate Fundraising Manager role is to lead the Corporate Partnerships programme; sourcing, developing and sustaining funding partnerships with a wide range of companies. This is a senior and hands-on role.  You will take responsibility for developing and sustaining your own portfolio of corporate partners working with them to secure significant funds.

Main Areas of Responsibility 

• Implement a corporate strategy which increases income and the number of corporate partners to exceed targets and build the pipeline for future years.

• Provide line management support to the corporate fundraiser(s), including setting objectives, key performance indicators and carrying out appraisals. 

• Secure new business support from companies, taking a strategic and proactive approach to new business development.

• Develop creative and compelling new business pitches, presentations and proposals for a range of corporates including COTY applications, CRM, beneficiary events and cross organisational offers, working closely with the Director of Fundraising & Marketing.

• Develop a dense pipeline of corporate partnership prospects, with a potential focus on locally-based large companies as well as national organisations who consider local charity partnerships.

• Identify and secure opportunities through proactive relationship development and peer to peer introductions.

• Maximise corporate income through exemplary stewardship and strategic development of existing and new corporate partners, including account management, developing and implementing account plans, new ideas and opportunities for income generation.

Initially, the post-holder will take responsibility for fundraising for our ongoing expansion project. About you 
As our Marketing Manager (Legacies and Mid Value), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategy and delivery for these two priority areas, building deep connections with supporters, prompting action, and driving income growth. Working closely with the Senior Manager (Legacies and Mid Value), your focus will be on working with the team to attract and steward supporters, growing consideration and donations and delivering a sector-leading legacy and mid-value programme. Here you'll play a pivotal role in driving effective marketing campaigns that connect deeply with our supporters, inspire action, and fuel our mission to create lasting change for children worldwide. 

In this role, you will: 

• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to retain and engage supporters, leveraging insights and data to build enduring relationships. 
• Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns aimed at driving ambitious income and loyalty targets. 
• Lead legacy and mid value marketing efforts across Direct Mail, Telemarketing, and digital channels. 
• Craft a cohesive supporter experience across all touchpoints, fostering deeper engagement and long-term value. 
• Develop compelling marketing assets and content plans that drive engagement and action. 
• Foster relationships with external partners, motivating them to deliver excellence for Save the Children. 
• Analyse marketing effectiveness, utilizing supporter insight and data analysis to drive continuous improvement.

To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• Experience in growing existing customer or supporter value. 
• Proven experience of planning direct marketing campaigns, including campaign development and data led decision making. 
• Possesses technical skills in retention marketing, supporter stewardship, and audience planning. 
• Expertise in multiple channels, such as Telemarketing, print and digital. 
• Project management experience with the ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. 
• Effective management of external partners, such as telemarketing agencies, creative agencies, and fulfilment agencies. 
• Strong numerical and critical thinking skills for data analysis. 

Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK. However, for this role, you will be required to work from our Farringdon Office in London on average 1 day a week. Travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense.

About the Role

We're an organisation that's all about people, our customers are Members of the organisation and the Membership Manager is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and maximising sales for Kings Camps. Working with the Head of Sales, Service and Brand to deliver key Membership initiatives and line-manage the Membership team to drive sales and excellent service across the UK. The Membership Manager will also have training provided to contribute to our Safeguarding Team and Behavioural Support Team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

• Understand all aspects of the Kings Camps booking and membership services
• Understand and deliver sales and service targets
• Ensure all child details are accurate, updated and provided to relevant staff
• Monitor performance of current activities and develop new initiatives to improve customer experience and membership sales.
• Work with Head of Sales, Service and Brand to develop new initiatives and strategies and implement within Membership accordingly.

Sell

• Provide excellent customer service to both new enquiries and existing members
• Maximise bookings from potential and existing members
• Proactive telephone calls to members to encourage bookings and gather feedback
• Build our reputation with members by communicating Kings Camps values and personality consistently in all interactions

Support

• Provide timely and appropriate response to enquiries, questions and complaints
• Provide requested information to members via phone, email, post or other means
• Process supporting families, group and business bookings in line with pre-agreed targets and with guidance from the Head of Sales, Service and Brand
• Provide regular reporting to the Head of Sales, Service and Brand
• Provide other support for marketing and membership activities as requested by the Head of Sales, Service and Brand.
• Attend wider meetings as Membership representative

Management

• Line manage membership team
• Regular reviews with team members to discuss workload, performance and progress
• Responsible for recruiting and training new members of the team.
• Annual team reviews

Ideal Personal Specification

• 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service role
• Highly personable and a great team player
• High level of verbal and written communication with attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills
• Motivated by; and supportive of; the mission and values of the Kings Foundation
• Experience working within SEND/additional needs and safeguarding would be beneficial

It’s an exciting time to join the organisation as we develop new audiences and work towards creating a Centre for Writing and Publishing in Newcastle upon Tyne.

This role is central to NWN providing marketing support across all of New Writing North’s varied programme, including international literary prizes, young writers’ groups, and festivals and events. You will also shape the marketing and communications and audience development strategic plans and, will work closely with colleagues from different programme teams developing relationships with audiences and stakeholders online. The ideal candidate will have expertise in marketing and communications, and especially digital marketing and its potential for developing audiences. You will be a creative self-starter with a willingness to engage with audiences and to devise, test and evaluate new marketing initiatives.
