In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Strategy, vision and impact [25%]
- Be at the forefront of leading Resurgo’s ‘big picture’ vision of a transformed society, empowering churches to transform young lives
- Build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with local referral agencies to ensure effective recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme
- Oversee the reporting of the Centre outcomes and ensure the Spear Programme is delivered in line with agreed targets
Leadership, line management and training [25%]
- Lead your team with confidence; spurring them on in Resurgo’s mission; invest in a team culture of excellence, belonging and fun
- Manage and develop the Lead Coach and Graduate Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development. This includes weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and regular feedback
- Equip your team to drive change through a data informed approach, and keep them accountable to agreed targets for the Spear Programme
Relationship management [20%]
- Manage great relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, donors, and your Board of Trustees
- Embed into your local church; working closely with your Spear Trustees and congregation, and actively participating in their mission and events
- Partner with the Spear Trustees and assist in implementing their funding strategy by helping to build corporate and donor relationships. For example, by hosting prospective donors in the Training Room
Delivery of the Spear Programme [20%]
- Support group and 1-1 coaching with numerous 16-24-year-olds: equipping them with practical work-ready skills and resilient mindsets
- Provide guidance to the Lead Coach in the training room when dealing with behavioural and safeguarding situations and upskill coaches with consistent coaching feedback
- Use a coaching approach to engage young people in challenging conversations that will enable them to take responsibility and over significant barriers to employment
Operations [10%]
- Liaise with relevant staff regarding site operations and work to resolve any issues as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Service Manager to support women and children who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. In this role you will provide line management and support to staff who work with and help women and their children who have experienced domestic abuse and are staying in our Lambeth refuges. We're recruiting a skilled Service Manager to join our Eye Care Support Services (ECSS) Management Team in the North of England.
In this varied role, you will provide day to day leadership to a team of Eye Care Liaison Officers (ECLO's). Your excellent people management skills and transparent management style will enable you to motivate and manage a geographically dispersed team, providing support and sensitively being the driver of change and new service initiatives.
You will be accountable for managing the full operational delivery of our ECLO services across the North of England (Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, Cumbria, County Durham, Teesside and other locations as required.) As part of the Eye Care Support Services (ECSS) Management team, you will support and maintain key relationships across health and social care services, participate in strategic and business planning processes and engage with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that RNIB can reach more people with sight loss, earlier.
Supporting ECLO's and services, mainly across the North of England, will require regular local and occasional national travel, which may involve overnight stays.

The aim of Advice Service Supervisor is to maintain a consistent quality of advice and help for clients by providing support, guidance and feedback on a day to day basis. There are 4 main areas:

- Good understanding of safeguarding principles and willingness to adhere to them

ROLE BACKGROUND:
Youth Enquiry Service (YES) is a charity that has supported young people in High Wycombe and the surrounding areas for over 40 years. We have an established reputation for offering accessible, friendly, and safe services for young people, which includes one-to-one counselling, sexual health information, and drop-in information, advice, and guidance.
This is an exciting time for YES, as we have recently been awarded funding to expand our services as an early-intervention mental health support hub for young people. Citizens Advice Richmond (CAR) is a thriving advice organisation that is part of the national Citizens Advice network. We provide information, advice and casework support to around 5,000 people a year. Our services are delivered by a team of around 17 paid staff and 75 volunteers. Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week or 2 part time roles. We are open to flexible working discussions.
Salary: £28,000 - £31,500 per year
Location: This role will be based at our Elmwood Road Centre in Mitcham, with regular travel across the Borough of Merton.
After training and development, and after successful completion of the probationary period, there may be an option for hybrid working.
Reports to: This role reports to our Information and Advice Manager and is part of the wider Age UK Merton Community Support team.
About the role
We are recruiting an Information & Advice Adviser who will be joining a progressive, inclusive and dynamic team, an integral part of our Community Support model, and wider Age UK Merton services.
The Information & Advice Adviser is a vital role that works directly with older people who come to the service seeking information and advice on pension age benefits.
Last year the service worked to support over 800 older adults with information and advice on benefits, health, housing and care, and assisted the uptake of nearly £400,000 of previously unclaimed benefits.
An important part of this role will be to triage initial client needs which have been referred into the service by both internal and external partners, this will then ensure the team provides the right advice and high-quality support, whether on the phone, email or face to face.
You will be joining an accredited advice service (with the Advice Quality Standard), delivered by a high calibre team and you will be given opportunities to train and develop in the role.
About you
You are an enthusiastic, motivated and organised person with excellent people skills who is looking for a role where real impact is made on the lives of the people you are supporting. You will need to have attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills to support the complex and diverse range of issues that our clients face.
Experience in the information and advice sector is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. What is important is your ability to work as part of a team but also using your initiative, being flexible and collaborative across the team at Age UK Merton. As a Local Services Manager, you will lead your teams with compassion, attention to detail and the passion to make a difference, every day, to people with and affected by dementia. - Provide operational leadership and management to our dementia support services, ensuring the delivery of high quality and safe dementia support.

- Influence for more dementia support, building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders and representing the Alzheimer’s Society across your regions.
Alzheimer’s Society Local Services teams provide exceptional information, advice and guidance for people affected by dementia. As a Local Services Manager, you will be home based, leading and inspiring geographically dispersed teams, whilst working as part of a wider Area Management Team, to deliver these fantastic services. Your work will primarily as an operational leader, managing our dementia support services. You will also have a great opportunity to build relationships and engage external stakeholders, including working closely with Local Authorities and Health colleagues and Commissioners within an Integrated Care System setting.
About you
You will;

- Experience of working in a dementia related role is not essential, however an understanding of the health and care sector, either through work or personal lived experience is beneficial.
- Experience of delivering services, coaching and developing others, and the right attributes are key.
- Commitment to building inclusive services, ensuring equity and valuing diversity.
You have a fabulous team of dementia experts, your role is to manage, support and inspire them to deliver to their best and thrive as a team.
