About the Role
We are looking for Support Workers for two full-time 38 hours per week and one part-time 30 hours per week for our Enfield Supported Living Services which provide 24 hour care and support to people with learning disabilities and mental health.

As a Support Worker your duties will include:
- Provide support to individuals in line with agreed support plans

- Good verbal communication skills; be able to liaise professionally with a range of external stakeholders, care managers, health professionals, other services and providers of support, and family members of customers.
- Delivering a service that promotes and supports choice, empowers individuals, helps people take control of their own support and care, and increases their independence and self-determination.
- Putting the person we support at the heart of your work, promoting each individual’s needs for independence, well-being and dignity
- Flexible approach to working shift patterns, which will include evening and weekend hours, and bank holidays.

About the role
As a Family Resettlement Worker, you will work with a caseload of families and individuals who have arrived in Westminster, London under a UK government (refugee) resettlement scheme (or who have been resettled to Westminster through another route). You will support people in their homes and in the local community, guiding them to identify their goals as they begin their new lives in Westminster.
Support to our clients is holistic and will include: support to register with GP and access/understand the UK health system; support to understand and apply for benefits; support and encouragement to engage in Employment, Training and Education opportunities; and support to manage their housing tenancies. About the role:
The main purpose of this role is to provide quality support to children and young people who are victims and survivors of sexual violence. You will be responsible for completing comprehensive initial needs and risk assessments, developing and delivering personalised safety and support plans for clients, many of whom have additional vulnerabilities and have complex needs.
You will need to be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with the Police, statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes within a multi-agency setting. As well as being tenacious in support of your clients and adept at problem solving.
To be successful in this role you will need to be approachable, flexible and caring, demonstrating empathy at all times. You will have had lengthy experience of direct service delivery (casework) with people with complex needs (ideally with children) and will have a good understanding of the impact of sexual violence offences on victims and survivors and of safeguarding issues. You will also have an excellent understanding of and commitment to the promotion of equal opportunities and diversity.
IT literacy is a must and candidates must evidence both the ability to use bespoke packages and excellence in their recording practice.
If you do not possess an ISVA accreditation, we will fund this learning as it essential for the role. The role also requires enhanced DBS and police vetting. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a refuge worker within a refuge service, supporting women and their children fleeing domestic abuse. Your responsibilities will include supporting and advocating for women and children, taking part in the on-call rota, managing day to day running of the refuge; health & safety, safeguarding, supporting the service and deputy manager.
Some of the key accountabilities are:

Developing individual support and risk management plans which address the risk of harm to survivors of domestic violence and other forms of violence and abuse and their children, and to ensure that such plans are in place for each resident.

The Information, Advice and Guidance worker is situated in the advocacy team to provide information on maintaining good mental health. The role will include triage provision in helping to assess needs e.g., reducing suicide risk and refer beneficiaries to appropriate and more importantly immediate support either at MhIST or externally. Typically, interventions will be short and usually, but not always, once off in nature.
Usually you will be working with people who have relatively low needs but you will be able to assist people with higher or complex needs to access services which are appropriate for them.
The support we envisage will typically be things like:
· Helping people to access the most appropriate service for their needs.
· Providing advice to help prevent the worsening of symptoms.
· Basic welfare benefits and other financial information
· Making sense of forms and paperwork
· Providing information about available services in the local area

As a Family Support Worker, you will work in close partnership with families and school staff to deliver a programme of casework to promote and improve educational outcomes for the children we support.
You will also focus your support to help improve attendance, punctuality, engagement in learning, improved behaviour in school and the local community as well as improving social and emotional regulation and well-being.
You will have excellent relationship-building and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate with a wide group of people.

We are looking for a Complex Caseworker to join our Rough Sleeper team in Oxford who provide intensive support to people with complex needs experiencing homelessness. This passionate team offer person centred support services to help people who require a specialist intervention approach to support them through the transition from rough sleeping into sustainable accommodation.
In this role you will work collaboratively with the Rough Sleeper Navigator and Outreach team as well as relevant partner agencies in Oxford to deliver sustainable outcomes to clients.
- You will advocate for clients who have been some of the most marginalised in the local area, to make a real and long lasting difference to their recovery.
- You will be responsible for overseeing a caseload of clients and providing day to day support to clients with their transition from the streets into accommodation and independent living with a strong focus on tenancy sustainment and rescue.
- This includes working with people on health, housing, employment and training support. You will be given support to build strong relationships with a range of other services to find creative and sustainable routes to recovery for clients.

Children's Rights Advocacy Worker
Barnardo's: Your Rights, Your Voice is an umbrella service that manages a portfolio of Children's Rights and Advocacy contracts.
Barnardo's is commissioned locally to provide a visiting Children's Rights and Advocacy Service to children and young people being held at Barton Moss SCC. In addition, Barnardo's is commissioned by the MoJ to provide a service to the wider secure estate: all Secure Training Centres (STC's) and Young Offender Institutions (YOI's) across England and Wales.
Our service objective is to provide knowledge on Children's Rights, independent advice, support and advocacy services to children and young people in accordance with the aims and objectives of Barnardo's: Your Rights, Your Voice (Secure Estate), the Children Act (1989, 2004), United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the National Advocacy Standards (DOH, 2002).
In addition, to work as part of a team to deliver an effective and efficient service which empowers children and young people detained within a secure setting to have a voice, access available services and entitlements. Also to ensure their rights are being met in relation to issues relating to their welfare, care and treatment.

Job Summary
This role is an expansion of our employment pathway and will be our first dedicated employment coach for our students.
PiP has developed a unique reputation for our experience and quality of employment support for adults with learning disabilities. This has led to an increased number of referrals with a focus on employment, an expansion of our in-house social enterprise capacity, and more employers keen to work alongside us to diversify their staff base.
PiP is keen to respond to and meet this demand. This role for us is the next step in doing so, allowing us to increase our job coaching capacity and providing more dedicated resource for students on their employment journey. As to date our coaching has been delivered across our existing staff team.

What We Offer:
· The salary for this role is circa £29,500 dependent on experience with incremental pay progression.
You'll get 25 days holiday + bank holidays ever year. We're closed for Christmas but the rest of the year you may take leave whenever you wish.
