An opportunity has arisen for a lead Support worker to work within our Sanctuary crisis intervention and prevention service, based in Fore Street in Enfield. We act as a short-term A&E and Emergency services alternative, providing support to individuals in the Enfield Borough aged 18+.
This role is to provide leadership and support to the Sanctuary team on shift. The role will:
- Lead shifts during the week, providing support to team members via case management support, escalation, Health and Safety guidance
- Support the Sanctuary Manager to embed processes within the service, and ensure that these are carried out
- Work alongside the Manager and team to ensure that the service is operating to high quality standard.
- Provide support in times of emotional distress for clients. The support worker will provide a calm, supportive presence.
The role will support clients through co-producing support plans with practical and therapeutic support offerings, as well as contributing to the development of a warm welcoming environment and ‘safe space’ to be.
This position would suit someone with a minimum of 2 years experience of working with people with mild, moderate and severe mental health issues.

The Sanctuary Service runs Monday - Friday, 5pm-10pm and at weekdays, 12-5pm. We would require the successful applicant to be able to work 4 shifts (21 hours per week) covering these days/times.

Age UK Kensington & Chelsea offers dementia services which make a real difference to residents affected by the condition living in the Borough. Those services include advice, practical help, befriending, social activities and emotional support. The Dementia Support Worker is responsible for managing a caseload of individual clients, providing practical and emotional support to the most isolated and vulnerable in our community. About the role
£18,975 for 22 hours, FTE salary is £31,051
In this varied and rewarding role you will develop and coordinate our team of volunteers and Sessional Workers (zero hours youth workers). You will be instrumental in defining our volunteer strategy moving forward and identify other participation opportunities such as work experience placements, university placements, internships and apprenticeships.
You will also help develop internal engagement activities and participate in external awareness raising and fundraising activities, to support both volunteering and fundraising.
This role is for 22 hours per week, which will ideally be worked over 4 days. There is the option of hybrid working. We provide a surrey wide service, so the successful applicant will be willing to travel across the county to meet volunteers and sessionals as well as participate in engagement opportunities.

- Be able to multi-task, plan a workload, set priorities and manage time effectively, working without direct supervision
- Have a good professional knowledge of standard Microsoft packages and databases

Main aim of the role:
Playing a vital role within our expanding youth support team at Future Skills, you will work to support and empower our young people to re-engage and return to education and employment. You will be creating structured lesson plans to deliver high quality soft skills sessions. You will be proactive and get involved with the pupil’s daily activities, promoting teamwork and setting a good example. You will also build positive relationships with the young people, fellow professionals, parents and carers as this is key to this role.

As an Employment Coach with our Employcare Project you will be supporting unpaid carers living in Manchester; providing support and coaching in order for them to re-enter paid employment or voluntary roles. We are seeking a Female Peer Support Worker to provide support and recovery guidance to individuals experiencing common and severe mental health problems and someone to use their own life experience of mental distress or as a carer and recovery as a template.

About the Role
Chance UK has been delivering early-intervention services across London since 1995. Our longest running programme is our mentoring service where Mentors pick the child up from home and run a 1:1 session in the community, once a week for 2 hours. They use the solution-focused approach to work on building the child’s self-esteem and confidence, set goals and explore new places.
In addition, we are growing a range of community based groups running after school as well as some workshops delivered in schools which will support children with developing social and emotional skills and resilience through activities or skills development.
The balance between 1:1 work and group delivery will change according to services commissioned so the post holder will need to be flexible accordingly.

- A good standard of written English and IT skills would be essential, you will be writing reports and keep record of the Children and Young Peoples progress.
- Transporting children / young people to an activity or school is a requirement. A driving licence that has been held for 12 months would be desirable.
- If you don’t have direct experience of working with children maybe you have transferrable skills to bring to the role.
