The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to service users and staff in drug and alcohol, hostel and homeless services, increasing hepatitis C awareness, access to testing and referral to treatment, for people living with hepatitis C.

Working in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post will coordinate delivery of educational workshops, hepatitis C testing in community settings, ensure that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care.
This post will require extensive travel across Bedford and Luton (and the surrounding areas) and the post holder is required to hold a clean driving licence and have their own vehicle for work related travel.

Job Summary
CAAS provide an ADHD and Autism Support Service for the 8 boroughs of NW London, from our base in Eastcote, with a team of Support Workers. Our work includes offering information, advice, and support to ADHD / autistic people, their families, and professionals in NW London, with the aim of improving quality of life and developing neurodiverse-aware communities. Some of the support is offered through one2one meetings, some of the support is provided through groups and courses which aim to increase understanding and awareness, and provide opportunities for peer support, and some of the support is offered through training and workshops to educate professionals and drive for accommodations to be made to services to allow greater access for our client group.
The Family Team Lead will assist the Family Service Manager in overseeing the operational running and leadership and management of our Family Team at our centre in Eastcote.
The Family Team Lead will be responsible for the line management of some of our Family Support Workers, as well as the direct delivery of services, including being the lead facilitator on some of our parenting courses. As such, we are looking for a friendly, organised and hard-working individual. The role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication skills and a drive to ensure everyone who seeks support from us has the best possible experience. If you’re passionate about supporting neurodivergent people and their families, then this is an ideal opportunity for you.
There is no requirement for any experience of, or understanding of, autism / ADHD, as we will provide training on the conditions. This role will best suit someone who is very organised, who is able to task switch easily between line management, project management, client facing support work, group facilitation, course content creation and strategic and operational planning activities, and who is able to interact with a high number of clients and staff each week in order to ensure the sufficient number of appointments are provided to meet our funder requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess experience working with vulnerable individuals and demonstrate confidence, composure during crises, quick thinking, and adaptability. A genuine acceptance of diversity and a keenness to learn are essential.

Key Responsibilities – Project Lead
Line Management
· Organise and lead regular meetings for team members, including case management and monthly performance review meetings, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Family Services Development

· Ensure output, outcome and impact measures are considered, maintained and evaluated across staff and across projects to ensure continuous performance improvements.
· Provide first line safeguarding guidance to the team, to support them in delivering appropriate, safe and compliant safeguarding of all who access family services
· Deliver a programme of ongoing resource review and development, to ensure the PowerPoints, resources and tools used by the team in the delivery of their work are up to date, appropriately branded and effectively stored on our system
· Lead a programme of ongoing professional development within the team, to ensure that the different skills, knowledge and experience within the team is cascaded throughout the team, and new learnings and ways of doing things incorporated.
· Support the development of a ‘Client Voice’ project to identify how best we can hear and respond to feedback from family clients that we serve – and those that we don’t currently serve – so that our services can be tailored and effective for our wide community.

Providing individualised support
· Offer one to one support as requested by families and professional agencies, e.g. by supporting families in preparing for or attending meetings with schools/health/social services etc.
· Diligently record actions and monitor client progress using live reporting software, and assess risk and accommodation needs of the clients, to support their individual needs and protect them.
·Promote CAAS parenting resources, both in person and online.
· Develop knowledge and relationships of regional voluntary and statutory organisations and be able to signpost families to local agencies as necessary.
Facilitating Workshops and Training
· Deliver training to professionals in schools, education settings and the community.
· Facilitate CAAS specialist parenting courses, such as our Understanding Autism course.
Drop-In Support Co-ordination
· Our drop-in support service is the bedrock of our family support work, and we have offered drop-in support sessions for parents for over 20 years. Our drop-in support service has grown in the last year, and now encompasses daytime and evening groups, both in our centre and online. You will act as the lead facilitator for the overall project, sharing best practice across the different elements of the service, evaluating its effectiveness for those we serve.

This exciting role includes overseeing the production of our supporter magazine, annual report and digital content. We seek to resource Christian Unions (CUs), which are groups of students from a range of local churhces who join together to help everyone at uni engage with the life-changing message of Jesus.
Each year, tens of thousands of students hear the message of Christ through CU ministry. Together, we are reaching students for Jesus.
The details of the role
- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: £30,900 - £35,000 pa, depending on experience
- Role type: full-time (36¼ hours/week), but we are open to discussing the possibility of the role being part-time
- Location: Blue Boar House, Oxford (UCCF’s office). We offer a hybrid arrangement where Tuesdays are our core day for in person working, and team members have flexibility to work from home for two days a week.
- Holiday allowance: 30 days per year, plus 8 public holidays

Nature and scope: As the Communications Manager will be regularly involved in contacting supporters, churches and other outside organisations, it is an occupational requirement that the post holder is a believer in Jesus Christ as Saviour, Lord and God, and is in good standing with their local evangelical church, thus being in fellowship with the world-wide Christian family. They are required to sign assent to the Doctrinal Basis, to participate in UCCF collective worship and prayer and to model Christian discipleship in public and private life.

As the Case for Support Lead, you will be instrumental in developing impactful narratives that resonate with our supporters and drive our mission forward. By identifying restricted funding opportunities and creating tailored cases for support, you'll ensure that our highest-value campaigns continue to achieve transformational impact.
Main responsibilities:
- Create compelling case narratives that articulate Marie Curie's need, solutions, and impact for various audiences.
- Provide local and national fundraising teams with accurate, self-service information for campaign development.
- Collaborate with service, policy, and research teams to gather insights that enhance the quality and relevance of fundraising campaigns.
- Conduct Discovery Sessions with fundraising teams to improve their understanding of our cause and tailor information to meet income stream needs.
- Act as the lead contact for high-value income streams, coordinating with internal stakeholders to support their fundraising goals.
Key Criteria:
- Proven experience in fundraising, service delivery, cause-led communications, or evaluation work.
- Creative thinker with an independent, autonomous approach to work.
- Strong communication skills to inspire others and positively influence opinions, with the ability to gain respect at all levels and drive practical, meaningful change.
- Skilled at understanding and interpreting complex information and data and articulating it in a compelling way, both in writing and verbally.
- Excellent people skills with a proven ability to integrate quickly into complex organizations.
- Financial literacy with experience in interpreting budget information.
- Exceptional project management skills, coordinating multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of voluntary or health sectors and familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is desirable.

This is generalist HR management role, so you’ll be responsible for ensuring effectiveness and driving improvement across all areas of the employment lifecycle, as well as providing expert HR knowledge and advice to our management and leadership teams.

What you need:
The successful candidate will be qualified to CIPD level 7 (or working towards this / have equivalent experience), along with substantial experience working in a HR generalist role. You will have strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills, coupled with an excellent knowledge of employment legislation, and experience in providing expert HR advice to senior teams.

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Communications Manager to help us increase the impact of our work through cross-channel communications and grow the organisation’s profile to match the quality of the legal work we conduct. You will be joining at an exciting time when there is already some infrastructure in place but plenty of opportunity to make your mark on the development of our organisational approach to communications. You will work closely with the Director to develop and implement a cross-organisational communications strategy to extend our reach, brand awareness and increase donations. You will join a dedicated staff team who are all passionate about building power with working class and marginalised communities. You will be expected to work closely with staff across the organisation, supporters and the communities we serve, co-ordinating and delivering effective organisation wide communications. A demonstrable interest in social justice campaigning is essential.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and creative communications all-rounder with a track record of implementing communications strategies for social change. You’ll be an effective project manager, able to work proactively and collaboratively with staff across the organisation to showcase the vital work colleagues in the litigation team conduct out of the spotlight. You will be confident in working with a variety of stakeholders, including journalists, lawyers and marginalised communities. You will be proactive, able to build and maintain relationships, develop effective cross-channel communications and manage a varied workload. You will be both able and happy to turn your hand to strategic thinking alongside day-to-day delivery, such as copy-editing news pieces for our website or writing press releases. You’ll be engaged with social justice campaigning and social media with an ability to identify and take advantage of relevant communications opportunities.
