We have a rare and exciting opportunity at Woodgreen Pets Chairty to join our Senior Leadership team as a Head of Retail. You would be leading a transformation change to the Retail Estate that continues to enhance the Woodgreen brand, providing an exceptional shopping and donor experience alongside excellent customer service. Our Retail team is an integral part of our Charity, and as Head of Retail, you will be responsible for our estate of 27 shops that cover East of England, west towards Oxfordshire and south towards London. We would ask that you are flexible so as to travel around the region and have a regular presence in our Godmanchester Head Office.
As Head of Retail, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational direction, which includes:
Driving Growth: Achieve sales and profit targets through managing our Retail Area Managers whilst strengthening the existing estate by building strong foundations.
Strategic: Developing a customer focused strategy, ensuring it maximises sustainable net income and long-term value for the charity.
Team Building & Management: Working alongside the People and Volunteering teams, empower, support and develop a high performing retail team and create a collaborative workplace culture.
Budgetary and Financial Management: Work with the retail managers to set target net contributions for retail activities and making any amendments where necessary.
Operational: Ensure that all processes and systems are fit for purpose and constantly review the operational framework to ensure that the highest standards are being met.

IT Officer - part time 3 days a week role - National
Charity People have partnered with a £4million turnover NFP organisation called Advice UK, to help recruit an IT Officer.
This is a newly created role, fully remote where you are required to come to London once a month. The role offers a salary between £32,000 - £34,000 per annum + Regional Weighting, which will be pro-ratad for three days a week.

Some of your key duties and responsibilities are;
- Project manage the implementation of all agreed technology projects e.g. migration to SharePoint (including devising a new file structure, identify files that need to be archived and deleted in compliance with the organisations data retention policy and GDPR)
- Develop, document and maintain a map of current technology systems
- Create and implement protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects (e.g. onboarding and offboarding)
- Create, implement and manage a process for internal IT support that makes cost-effective use of our external IT support supplier by being first point of contact for AUK staff for IT issues to triage requests and issues for our external IT support
- Support the Head of Systems and Technology in selecting most cost-effective systems and technology to deliver the organisation's objectives
- Devise, manage and test a backup and recovery process.
- Manage external access request to teams for project work as appropriate
- Work alongside the Data Protection + Cyber Security Officer to ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR) + cyber security standards

The Charity uses Salesforce as its main CRM solution. It is used to manage the data of fundraisers, volunteers, events and donations. The Charity is in the process of implementing Boomi as it's middleware solution and are looking for a Data Integration Officer to play a key role in making the project a success.
Working within a small team, the ideal candidate for this position is someone who enjoys and excels in designing, developing, and implementing integration processes that connect different business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance. Your role will involve collaborating with the Database Officers and Business Analysts to understand business requirements along with supporting the Database Officers and QA Tester with testing within the Boomi platform.
As a Data Integration Officer, the postholder must also demonstrate an excellent technical skillset both in terms of their data manipulation and administration skills, and in their consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with a "can do" / problem solver approach and desire to deliver added value and improvements on an ongoing basis.
You will have experience of managing and importing bulk data along with experience of data integration into Salesforce using middleware solution. About the Role

To be successful in this role, you will have a track record of success in six-figure+ multi-year restricted and unrestricted funding from high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and foundations. You will have a proven ability to develop, manage, and deliver against accurate budgets and forecasts, and excellent bid-writing skills that have generated considerable income from trusts and foundations and high net-worth individuals, ideally in an international organization.

Supporter Care and Stewardship

- To test and optimise supporter journeys to maximise remittance, average gift and retention, taking recommendations forward to provide the best possible supporter experience and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
Marketing and Digital
- To work with the fundraising products manager, internal teams and the community & events marketing team to develop effective marketing activity.
- To help develop approaches and assets, such as content and resources, for products in your care to drive engagement from supporters, remittance and average gift, across a range of channels.
- To work with digital engagement and the community & events marketing team to monitor and report on performance, including the most effective channels, creative and audiences, to help ensure investment is maximised.

Ideally, you will be someone with a real drive and a passion for charity fundraising. Who is digitally focused, driven by insight and understands the importance of great stewardship experience.

This is a newly created role, fully remote where you are required to come to London four time a year. I'm excited to be working with Drinkaware to find them a temporary Digital Marketing Manager. This is purely a technical role, with a focus on SEO, PPC marketing, Grants Pro and Google Analytics 4. You must be a GA4 expert, it is essential for this temporary cover. You will have solid digital marketing delivery skills and work collaboratively with the digital and marketing teams to increase website traffic and drive Drinking Check completions.
