Through our rapidly growing Rewilding Network we’re bringing together a community of rewilders - from land managers and farmers, to charities, community groups and national parks - to inspire and support each other to create a wilder, more prosperous Britain. We are now seeking a Digital Communications Lead (maternity cover) who will develop and deliver our digital communications to build awareness, understanding and engagement with Rewilding Britain and our mission. This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast growing charity and directly contribute to the growth of the rewilding movement.

Job purpose: 

To lead the development and delivery of Rewilding Britain's digital communications output, to inform, engage and activate audiences in support of our charitable aims.

Objectives of the role: 

Social media

• In line with our organisational objectives, lead on building our profile, reputation and engagement on social media with key audiences.

• Plan and deliver inspiring and effective social media content, including as part of engagement campaigns, fundraising appeals, and initiative launches, and in support of our partners and members. 

• Ensure that Rewilding Britain is using the best possible tools and techniques, by drawing on your own knowledge of the digital landscape and trends and staying up to date with changing trends.

• Guide colleagues across the organisation to capture and create social content in order to maximise opportunities to engage others with rewilding

• Take responsibility for monitoring social media and community building, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to social media enquiries. 

• Support with the development of social media and other digital policies and style guides. 
   

Email marketing

• Develop and deliver a schedule of email marketing for the organisation, including for fundraising and political engagement campaigns.

• Optimise email marketing by A/B testing content regularly to maximise performance and by making design and content improvements as the digital landscape evolves. 

• Use audience segmentation in support of campaigns, drawing on data from our CRM.
   

Website content & maintenance

• Work with the Content Manager and other team members to create new and updated web content in line with the Content Strategy, that is engaging, accurate and on-brand.

• Ensure web content is optimised for SEO and usability, advising and training staff on best practice.

• Contribute to team efforts to enhance the website as an engagement tool, including liaising with agencies where relevant. 

Other

• Track, monitor and report on digital activity to prove impact and maximise effectiveness. 

• Oversee/brief colleagues and freelancers, where relevant, to deliver discrete pieces of digital content for Rewilding Britain's channels.

• Contribute digital expertise to wider organisational projects and activities in support of our objectives. 

• Support the team in delivering Rewilding Britain webinars and events.
   

Essential skills, experience and behaviours

Experience

• At least three years' experience in a digital management role in a comparable organisation, overseeing digital communications to further organisational objectives. 

• Proven experience in managing social media channels in a professional role.

• Experience in producing and optimising email marketing (ideally using Mailchimp).

• Experience in managing and optimising website content.

• Familiarity with Google Analytics and digital monitoring tools.

• In-depth experience and understanding of current social and digital communications tools, landscape and trends.

Skills

• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.

• Skills in creative content developments, such as video and photo editing, ideally using Adobe Creative Suite. 

• Skilled digital planner, with a track record of inspiring and leading on digital.

• Good grasp of conservation and ecology.
   

Personal qualities

• Proactive, creative and flexible approach with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively and autonomously from home, while also working collaboratively as part of a tight-knit team. 

• Highly organised, able to manage a content schedule and to plan and deliver digital campaigns.

• Knowledge of rewilding or nature recovery.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits

This role is as maternity cover (9 months with possibility of extension).

This is a full time 5 day (35 hour) a week position, but we are open to a conversation with candidates who are seeking a role of 28-35 hours a week.

There will be some freedom for the person to determine their own working arrangements each week, within limitations, providing the work is delivered.

The salary is £35-40,000 f.t.e. per annum, dependent on skills and experience.

Rewilding Britain employees benefit from 25 days annual leave per year (pro rata for part time roles), rising to 30 days over 5 years. A generous employer-matched pension scheme is also available.

We are a virtual team who work from home and/or co-working spaces. We will support you to achieve a suitable virtual working environment. Some meetings are held face to face across Britain, so a willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays is desirable.

Endometriosis impacts the physical and mental health of 10% of women and those assigned female at birth, from puberty to menopause - although the impact can be felt for life. Yet it’s a disease most people have never heard of, do not understand and that has no cure. It costs the UK economy around £8.2 billion every year in healthcare costs, loss of work and treatments and yet it isn’t recognised by most employers. As the UK’s leading charity for all those affected by endometriosis, we’re determined to change this and ensure that everyone gets prompt diagnosis and the best treatment and support.

We’ve big ambitions in our strategy, focused on better supporting those with endometriosis, driving down diagnosis times, campaigning for improved treatments and access to services, raising awareness, and leveraging more money into research. The Chief Executive will be responsible for providing leadership, developing, and implementing Living Well Bromley’s strategic and operational plans, leading on partnership and business development, and being an effective advocate for the charity and its beneficiaries.

The successful candidate will work with the Head of the Gambling Action Lab (GAL) and the Senior Research Officer to bring together a handful of representatives from financial services firms to explore ways to reduce gambling-related financial harms. They will build and maintain stakeholder relationships and play a key role in facilitating group discussions with financial services representatives. This exciting role will also involve driving and promoting the work and visibility of the GAL, and planning and delivering a programme of events to promote our work.

In this position, you will play an important role in helping us to further understand the links between money, mental health problems and gambling harms and work with firms and stakeholders to develop practical solutions that lead to real change.

The full-time equivalent salary is either £41,283 at the Senior Officer level or £32,915 at the Officer level.

This role can be offered as London-based or remote (with twice-monthly travel to the London office) and either full-time (37.5 hours over 5 days) or part-time (minimum 30 hours over 4 days a week).

We are working with an incredible homelessness charity to recruit this key role to cover maternity leave. You will provide direction and manage the team responsible for brand, comms, events and fundraising. You will also directly be responsible for Major Donor relations and income.

Who we are:

The Dalit Solidarity Network is a small human rights organisation working to eliminate caste-based discrimination in the UK and South Asia. Registering as an official charity in 2003, Dalit Solidarity Network UK continues to grow as an effective campaigning and advocacy organisation, working on the issue of caste discrimination in the UK and being an active player in the global movement.  Our major areas of work include documenting 'everyday casteism', building capacity of businesses to address caste-discrimination in overseas supply chains and UK operations and working with UK Higher Education Institutions to protect against caste-discrimination.

About the role:

We are seeking a part-time Office Administrator for 2 days/week, initially for one year with a possibility of renewal. The hours can be worked flexibly with prior agreement of the Director. Hybrid-working arrangements (from home and on site) will be considered.  

Main responsibilities:

Administration:

· Responsible for day-to-day administration and office management and providing secretarial assistance to the Director & diary management.

· Maintenance of files and records both physical and computerised system filing and computerised database systems and email lists.

· General office management including scheduling meetings, arranging travel, managing expenses, liaising for office management, ordering office supplies, etc.

· Organise and take minutes for key meetings – including quarterly Board meetings and AGM.

· Undertake such duties and responsibilities appropriate to the role as the Director may request.

Communication and Outreach:

· Maintain and update DSN-UK website and social media,  coordinate internal and external information-sharing and communication with stakeholders and network partners.

Finance and Accounts:

· Responsible for maintaining records of all financial transactions and reconciliation of all bank statements.

· Assist in the preparation of budgets for donor proposals to ensure all relevant costs are included and that the budget is accurate and comprehensive.

Person specification:

Essential:

• Experience of working in an office providing admin support, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience of management of spread sheets for budgeting, financial analysis and reporting
• Good digital communications skills - including writing emails, newsletters, and drafting web copy, demonstrating good written and oral communications skills in English
• Knowledge and experience of mass email tools and systems
• Experience in taking formal minutes or notes
• Ability to carry out instructions quickly and accurately
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative and sometimes unsupervised
• Ability to work as a member of a very small team
• Ability to work to deadlines.

Desirable:

• Experience of updating, managing and maintaining a website and social media platforms
• Experience of working in the UK Voluntary Sector.

Benefits: The Office Administrator is entitled to 25 days annual leave (pro rata, not including bank holidays). Pension scheme with matched contributions of 5%. Hybrid and flexible working of 14 hours/week.

Location: Hybrid working with options for flexibility to work from home - the postholder will be expected to work from our central London office periodically, e.g. 1 day per 2 weeks.

As Supporter Engagement Officer you’ll play a key role in helping us to engage new and existing supporters as well as helping to deliver first-class stewardship to retain support and build trust. In addition you will develop appeals and communications that engage and inform supporters which help to raise more voluntary income.

Directly supporting the Direct Marketing and Legacy Manager and working closely with all of the Supporter Engagement team it would be beneficial if you have previous experience or an interest in Fundraising. Being a confident communicator with a “can-do” approach is essential as well as being able to demonstrate proven administrative skills, the ability to manage a varied workload and be highly organised.

We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are contractually required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month.

Some roles may be required to be in the office more often than others and this will be agreed with the hiring manager upon starting at Turn2us.

To achieve its ambitious goal, BRAC is seeking partnerships with like-minded organisations and allies across Europe. It has an ambitious target to grow its funding from the European market to GBP 100 million over the next 24 months. To achieve its ambition BRAC is building a specialised team of partnerships specialist to be based across key European markets i.e. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, UK and Switzerland.

The Foundations Officer will work as part of the Partnerships team and focus on delivering income targets from trusts, foundations and corporates. The Foundations Officer plays a pivotal role in advancing BRAC’s mission by stewarding partnerships with philanthropic and corporate foundations and creating new business opportunities to deliver on BRAC’s mission.
