We’re seeking a Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager to lead the translation of those insights into bold, well-targeted campaigns that disrupt harmful norms and accelerate systems change.

This is a high-trust, high-impact role for someone who understands how industries function — and how to challenge them effectively. You’ll work closely with Insiders and partners to surface intelligence, identify pressure points, and design interventions that create influence from within.

This is not about attacking industry. Our Insiders care about their sectors and want them to thrive. Your role is to help shape campaigns that are both disruptive and credible — grounded in insider knowledge, strategically sharp, and emotionally intelligent.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an amazing opportunity for someone interested and experienced in how policy making, press and campaigns work. 

The role is at a start-up non-profit looking to create a global movement to support senior professionals in powerful industries to - collectively and anonymously - help drive positive change in their industries.

Your job will be to help serve as a conduit between groups of industry insiders and the regulators, policymakers, shareholders or consumer groups they want to activate. 

The job is perfect for someone deeply interested in and knowledgeable about the workings of government who has direct experience of briefing, engaging and working with Members of Parliament, civil servants, regulators, shareholders and/or press. 

You will also be working alongside and in partnership with NGOs and consumer groups.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

We’re looking for someone with a bold campaigning instinct, sound strategic judgement, and a strong track record of working directly with shareholders and/or government/policy makers/regulators. 

Our essential criteria is that you:

• Have at least 18 months experience working in Parliament, in public affairs or in shareholder management;

• Bring care and kindness in the work you do.

Additional key skills and experience:

• Campaign leadership: proven experience designing and delivering campaigns that influence public, policy or corporate behaviour;

• Power mapping and strategy: strong instincts for pressure, timing, and influence in complex systems;

• Stakeholder engagement: skilled at working across insider and outsider groups — from boardroom to protest line;

• Communication: exceptional writing and messaging skills; confident with the press and public platforms;

• Confidentiality and care: understands the risks insiders face and knows how to build trust and safeguard participation.

As Communications Officer, you will help us put communications at the centre of our new strategy. About you

If so, St Giles is looking for a Wonder +Link Worker (Female Only) who will be responsible for providing an initial assessment and a time-effective, whole-system support service for women within the Norfolk area who have come into contact with the Criminal Justice System. 

The service users supported by this role will be individuals facing various and multiple disadvantages, including; mental health needs, housing issues, debt, substance misuse, family and relationship issues, individuals who have suffered domestic and sexual abuse, and those at risk of offending or reoffending.  You will be required to tailor the service to meet the needs of the women on your caseload and assist in diverting them away from the Criminal Justice System.

The role will be community-based and client-led and will involve significant partnership working within the local area to enable you to offer a whole system approach to overcoming barriers and empowering the service user to make better life choices.

The Role

The Chief Medical Officer will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, with responsibility for the clinical strategy and medical workforce. They will act as the organisation’s Responsible Officer, overseeing professional standards and revalidation, while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical governance are maintained.

Working in close partnership with the Chief Clinical Officer and Deputy Chief of Nursing, Midwifery and Quality, the postholder will co-lead the development and delivery of clinical strategy, ensuring services are ethical, sustainable, and firmly grounded in person-centred care. They will also provide expert clinical advice to the Board and offer visible leadership across the organisation.

The Person

• Full registration with the GMC and evidence of revalidation

About the Role and the Service

The Carer’s Wellbeing Navigator will play a key role in a new service to ensure unpaid carers in Milton Keynes are supported through a “no wrong door” approach.

Working as part of a partnership delivery hub with other local service provides, the postholder will provide person centred 1-2-1 support to carers of individuals living with mental health challenges and/or addictions. The Navigator will work flexibly offering face-to-face and telephone support to co-create wellbeing plans, strengthen resilience, and promote access to appropriate information, resources and services.

The Carer’s Wellbeing Navigator will also identify opportunities for peer-led support by developing and facilitating peer group(s) empowering carers to share experiences and reduce social isolation.

The role will also contribute to wider awareness-raising of unpaid carers through initiatives such as National Carers Week and the celebration of carers in the community.

Highly dynamic and self-led, the Navigator will actively help to shape the service, building strong links with local partners and ensuring unpaid carers of those with mental health difficulties receive inclusive, and accessible support.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a service and ensure outcomes which supports unpaid carers who are caring for someone experiencing difficulties with their mental health and/or additions, in line with the service delivery model, contractual requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Promote and raise awareness of this service across Milton Keynes including building relationships with referral organisations, VSCE and statutory services and the wider community.
• Build effective collaborative relationships with other hub partners and attend partner meetings when required.
• Support with effective referral routes in to and out of the service which break down any access barriers.
• Contribute to the development and review of service delivery.
• Effectively manage and process referrals into the service and prioritise a caseload of unpaid carers that ensures timely and effective support in line with the service delivery model.
• Carry out an initial assessment of individual support needs, priorities and risk, in line with the Access to Service procedure and processes.
• Enable individuals to explore the situation that is affecting their mental health and wellbeing and work with them to co-produce a personalised support plan to help address their immediate needs.
• Offer focused support with the aim of building knowledge, skills, confidence, independence and resilience.
• Signpost, and support to access, other relevant organisations and the wider community offer to address wider issues affecting their mental health.
• Share personalised information and advice about each unique circumstance and provide resources to support the carers mental health and wellbeing.
• Develop and facilitate peer support groups for unpaid carers who are caring for someone experiencing difficulties with their mental health and/or additions
• Carry out health and safety responsibilities as directed by Managers in line with Mind BLMK’s H&S policies, procedures, and guidance (risk assessments, reviews, reporting, safeguarding, incidents/accidents, premises).

The UK Development Director will be driving force for income growth and diversification for the organisation, expanding relationships across philanthropy giving including major donors, partnerships, and other high value donors. Setting income generation strategy to drive growth and achieve the organisation's objectives, this role will be a strategic leader reporting to the Global Director of Development and oversee a small team of two to deliver fundraising success. This role will also lead key income generation and strategic relationships to increase income, and work towards a seven-figure team income target.

The successful candidate will be able to evidence extensive high value fundraising experience in complex organisations, with notable examples of successfully securing multi-year five and six-figure relationships from high value donors including major donors or corporates. This person will have proven experience of leading successful teams to achieve income and engagement growth of a multimillion-pound level. We are seeking a Planning Policy and Campaigns Officer to join our cause.

This is a critical time for nature’s recovery.  To meet the UK legal target of securing 30% of land for nature’s recovery and halting wildlife decline by 2030, we need positive and strong laws and policies and for decision makers at both local and national level to ensure that planning and development gives back more to nature than it takes.

Currently there is huge uncertainty with a new Planning and Infrastructure Bill passing through parliament, which could fundamentally change the protections afforded to our most important wildlife sites and the delivery of mitigation.  There are also changes proposed for Biodiversity Net Gain policy and the National Planning Policy Framework.

Locally, our counties face huge development pressures – both through house building and infrastructure development, including major port expansion.  We must challenge inappropriate development proposals which would negatively impact our nature reserves and other key strategic areas or ambitions.  It is also essential that local plans align with the Local Nature Recovery Strategies for the two counties and enable properly sustainable nature-positive development.

With the forthcoming creation of a strategic mayoral authority for the region alongside local government reorganisation, there is a critical opportunity to ensure that spatial development strategies front-load environmental considerations and recognise the wider benefits of planning with nature in mind. 

Planning and development is an issue of huge interest to members and supporters who care about their communities and about wildlife.  We have witnessed recently the power of people using their voice in our campaign with RSPB against the damaging development proposed at Tipner-West.  We want to support and empower individuals and communities to respond, challenge and advocate on nature’s behalf.

This role is critical to achieving our strategic aims.  As part of a small policy and advocacy team, you would lead on planning-related policy issues and work with supporters to achieve greater impact through campaigning.

This role sits within the Advocacy & Engagement team and will work with colleagues from across the Trust and beyond, to develop and deliver compelling, evidence-led policy positions.  Your role will involve engaging with our MPs and councillors and supporting the development of the Trust’s campaigns to drive individuals and policy makers to act for nature.

About this exciting opportunity

Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison.  You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.

We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales.  Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.

• L3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent
