The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be looking after a portfolio of longstanding five-figure partnerships and will focus particularly on building new business relationships.

This role is offered on a permanent, full-time (part-time considered) basis paying a salary of £39,083 per annum. This role can be fully remote or hybrid. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will engage with and steward existing partnerships with support from the Head of Fundraising and Director of Fundraising. The organisation has done some thorough research to identify areas of potential new business and has prepared tools and collateral to support new business approaches. A key focus of this role is to proactively make approaches and initiate new relationships.

The ideal candidate will be eager to initiate and successfully secure new business partnerships for the ROS. The candidate will need to have examples of doing so within a previous role/organisation. ROS’ team of experts in their field and talented fundraisers are looking for someone who will bring their own ideas and collaborate across teams. There is no need to have knowledge surrounding Osteoporosis already but a willingness to learn is essential.

Work with the Director of Fundraising to plan cultivation events across 2024.

Specific activities:

Identify a long list of UK/Europe headquartered corporate/corporate foundation prospects, with the propensity and capacity to support at the £100K+ level. Categorising those who can fund an specific project (£300k) and those who may be smaller in scale.

Shortlist and screen prospects to create a ‘priority pipeline’ of Corporate prospects whose interests align with organisational mission, and have the capacity to fund a specific project (£300k).

Identify contact details for all priority prospects, always aligning with GDPR.  

Support the Director of Fundraising with targeted outreach and making direct approaches, with the aim to secure an exploratory meeting.

Securing new meetings with 20+ new prospects.

As required, writing compelling proposals relevant to donor interests.

High level proposal submitted on possible cultivation / networking events that they should attend in 2024.

Experience in corporate Fundraising in the charity sector

A proven track record of identifying, engaging and securing five/six figure gifts from corporate/ corporate foundations in a charity setting.

The LSO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Partnerships Executive (New Business) to lead on identifying and engaging with a new portfolio of prospective corporate supporters, in liaison with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager and Director of Development to develop new sponsorship opportunities, taking into account current corporate priorities and sector trends. • Keep abreast of trends in corporate partnerships in the arts and the broader charity sector to ensure the LSO continues to offer competitive packages

• Identifying and connecting with prospective corporate partners, either in the charity or commercial sector (at least two years experience)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fundraising Manager to become a vital part of a small, friendly and ambitious fundraising team.

Position: Fundraising Manager

Location: Hybrid working – primarily homebased with occasional travel to Maidenhead

Salary: £34,978 per annum

Contract: Full time, permanent

About the role:

The fundraising team raise approximately £400K annually and aspiring to grow by over half a million by 2025. You will be responsible for leading and growing income via the charities Corporate Partnerships and Sporting Challenges. The ideal candidate will have high-level experience in corporate fundraising.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide excellent account management to some of the charities existing and new corporate relationships.
• Carry out effective prospect research.
• Engage companies in our sporting challenges.
• Nurture effective relationships with corporate partners to achieve the best outcomes for the charity.
• Manage and grow the charities portfolio of challenge events to maximise income from this fundraising stream to achieve and exceed set income and expenditure targets, offering opportunities for engagement, and fundraising across the calendar year.
• Plan and deliver the marketing and recruitment of a range of events, including the London Marathon and other major running, hiking, cycling, swimming, skydiving and ultra-challenges.
• Coordinate and create content for the Fundraising Team communications via social media and digital communications to increase engagement from supporters.
• Create and manage annual budget lines to ensure income and expenditure meet set financial targets to maximise a return on investment.
• Monitor and report on income and expenditure for the relevant budget lines.
• Actively participate in team meetings.
• Attend key fundraising events and annual conference.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A proven track record of successfully managing a charity’s corporate partnerships and sporting challenges.
• Good knowledge of the principals of customer service/supporter care and donor development.
• Sound knowledge of GDPR and the impact on fundraising in terms of on-going consent and deletions of donors.
• Significant experience of working within a charity in a similar fundraising role.
• Experience of developing new fundraising products and building a programme of engagement to grow fundraising income.
• Experience of managing events, preferably sporting challenge events.
• Excellent digital skills with experience of using a variety of online platforms, including website editing, image re-sizing, social media, and e-news content creation.
• Experience of using a CRM database to maintain data accurately, and an understanding of how to extract and evaluate information.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and influencing skills with a creative and entrepreneurial outlook.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent MS Office skills in the use of email, Word and Excel and PowerPoint.
• Use of social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter including knowledge of a content management system for updating websites and images.

About You

Are you experienced in new business supporter acquisition in national charities? Have you got 3 years experience winning new business for charities? Are you familiar with community fundraising and supporter engagement? Have you managed a team towards an ambitious target? About the Role

You will lead 2 Business Development Managers directly to deliver a 6-figure team new business target across the country. You will also support the upskilling and support of our Area Fundraising Managers in their local new business endeavours. You will ensure a solid strategy, creative prospecting plan and pipeline management to achieve our agreed targets as well as have your own personal pipeline. You will also support the team in liaising with our national Corporate Partnership team, Marketing teams and more to ensure the team have everything they need to identify, prospect, win and report on new business.

You are joining a passionate team part way through a 3-year strategy implementation that has seen the team forecast to almost double income within 2 years.

Part of the Commercial Directorate which has ambitious growth plans focussed on growing our supporter base.

About the Role

• We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic team member, who will work closely with the Partnerships Manager.
• You will help provide excellent account management to our valued partners, encouraging them to think of new and innovative ways to support us, also working to build our profile in the local area.
• You will lead on coordinating our corporate volunteers; working closely with the services teams to come up with engaging volunteering opportunities and ensuring our corporate volunteers have a great experience when they give their time to us.
• We are looking for a personable and professional self-starter who is comfortable communicating with people at all levels and sometimes representing the charity at fundraising events.
• This role would suit someone who currently works in a fundraising role and is looking to develop their career within corporate partnerships or, someone with a customer service/account management background who has excellent relationship building skills.

Salary: £33,860
