Hybrid working: This role is eligible for hybrid working and you will be required to work from Teddington's Tearfund office and from your home by agreement with the line manager. The media team's core day in the Teddington office is Wednesday.

Contract details: This is a part time (28 hours per week, to include a Friday), 12 month fixed term maternity cover contract. The full time salary is £61,155 per annum and the part time salary is £48,924 per annum.

This is a a unique opportunity has arisen within a national breastfeeding charity to support the organisation through an exciting new phase of development. 

The ABM is a small but growing national charity. To support our expanding activity, we are creating a new role that provides comprehensive administrative and operational support across the organisation. The Team Support Officer will ensure the smooth running of core processes while also assisting colleagues working across all functions, including but not limited to, fundraising, communications, training, governance, and events.

This new post integrates and expands on previous administrative functions, providing flexible operational support across all areas of ABM’s work. It replaces the former Administrator and Admin Assistant roles, bringing together core administrative functions with additional capacity to support ABM’s strategic growth.

Temwa is a Bristol-based international development charity partnering with remote communities in Malawi to end poverty and create lasting change. With over 20 years of experience, Temwa understands the interconnected nature of challenges faced by rural communities. Our work is rooted in a community-driven approach, delivered by a skilled team of 25+ staff in Malawi, supported by a small but passionate UK team. Role Overview 

As the Fundraising and Communications Officer, you will play a pivotal role in growing Temwa’s income and visibility. You will coordinate, organise or support challenge events, individual fundraising campaigns, manage events, and deliver compelling communications that inspire action. You’ll work closely with the Fundraising & Communications Manager, UK and Malawi teams, and volunteers to support both income generation and brand engagement strategies. 

This is a varied and creative role for a driven communicator who’s confident with events, social media, donor stewardship, and marketing. 

Key Responsibilities 

Fundraising & Events 

• Plan and support individual giving campaigns and donor appeals. 

• Coordinate fundraising events including challenge events, team events, and Temwa’s annual Christmas Party. 

• Organise and coordinate Temwa’s presence at Festivals (about 2 a year)

• Support recruitment and engagement of volunteers for events and festivals. 

• Assist with logistics, ticketing, donor communications and supporter care. 

• Stewardship and support for challenge event fundraisers.

• Support donors and event participants with materials, guidance, and encouragement. 

• Sourcing prizes for events and liaising with suppliers. 

• Coordinating ad hoc events. 

• Contribute to strategy and systems to improve fundraising efficiency. 

Marketing & Communications 

• Manage and implement Temwa’s content calendar, ensuring regular updates across all channels. 

• Create high-quality, engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the website. 

• Work with the Malawi team to gather case studies and impact stories. 

• Develop and distribute digital and printed marketing materials for events and appeals. 

• Support Temwa’s PR and media presence by developing press contacts and press releases. 

• Monitor analytics and evaluate the success of communication and campaign activities. 

• Maintain and update Temwa’s website using CMS tools such as WordPress. 

• Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all public communications.

Administrative 

• Maintain and update the CRM (eTapestry). 

• Regularly monitor the Temwa info email and either reply or forward to the correct contact within the team.

• Financial data entry. 

• Donor stewardship, for example, thank you emails and Gift Aid forms. 

• Support volunteer coordination and external liaison. 

Collaborative & Strategic Input 

• Work closely with the Fundraising & Communications Manager to evolve strategy and campaign planning. 

• Stay informed on trends in charity fundraising, digital engagement, and international development. 

• Contribute to organisational planning, policy development, and process improvements. 

Person Specification 

Essential 

• Proven experience in fundraising, marketing or communications (employment or voluntary). 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Experience creating content across multiple platforms including social media, newsletters, and print. 

• Confident in event planning and leadership. 

• Skilled in donor and client stewardship. 

• Strong digital skills, including use of CMS (e.g., WordPress), social media tools, and CRM databases. 

• Excellent attention to detail, planning, and organisational skills.

The Senior Health Organiser will be primarily responsible for commissioning the delivery of health supporting activities and positioning our organisation to become a centre for innovation in health equity and community-led approaches to health creation.

The traditional healthcare system is set up to deal with sickness: making us better when we fall ill. But we know that health is created closer to home: in the security we feel in our housing, the strength of our relationships, the control that we feel over our environment, and the sense of purpose that drives us forward. At Pembroke House we’ve been building on these basic insights for the past 10 years.

Through our flagship Walworth Living Room project (see below) we aim to develop a space for a community facing rapid gentrification and growing inequality to gather, heal and build new visions of health: one rooted in our collective power and agency.

The aim of this work isn’t for Pembroke House to be commissioned by the state, but for us to support a flourishing community that traditional healthcare systems can respond and adapt to.

We’ve done a lot – from partnering with the South London and Maudsley NHS mental health trust on community-connections, to opening the Walworth Living Room with support from Impact on Urban Health, and resident-led research through our recent Social Model of Health work.

Today, the Walworth Living Room is home to a range of programmes that build community health through ranging from collaging, to fitness classes to shared meals. And it’s embedded in our wider-organising for a just neighbourhood – with a particular focus on food and housing.

We’re now looking for an inspiring individual to take this work to the next level, working with partners in and around Walworth to build and curate a programme that positions the Walworth Living Room as a pioneering centre for community-led health.

The Walworth Living Room (WLR) is a space where people can hang out, enjoy various activities, build relationships with each other, eat, learn, share and create. Located in the All Saints Hall building on Surrey Square, it is a place where people can work together to develop models of collective support and of collective control over community resources. Staff and visitors work collaboratively to make decisions about how the space is run. 

The Walworth Living Room offers a free social space, activities, resources and workshops that support people to:

• Spend time with their friends, family and neighbours

• Meet new people and build new relationships with people of different backgrounds and experience

• Understand the value of social connections for individuals and society and the root causes of social isolation

• Share and practise the skills needed to sustain healthy community in a diverse neighbourhood

Who we’re looking for:

You will be passionate about a vision of health that starts with community and addresses the systemic barriers to health.

You will be a natural organiser, with the ability to build wide-ranging relationships and alliances with community groups and organisations who are working on programmes that build community health. Ideally, you will already have relationships with these types of organisations in and around Walworth. 

You will be a well-organised person who has experience with all stages of event and activity delivery, from planning, to logistics, to delivery, to evaluation and monitoring, and can ensure activities are delivered well from start to finish. You will have the ability to manage multiple streams of work simultaneously, keeping projects with different deadlines on track.

You will have experience working in low-income/working class communities and communities of colour. You’ll be someone who does not approach this work from a “saviour” viewpoint, but someone who respects the experience and expertise in the community, and who is keen to work alongside community members and the staff team to plan work that reflects the interests of the people who use the WLR. You will care as much about the process of planning and as you do about the events themselves. 

You will also understand the structure of the NHS locally and will be a credible and challenging voice in the ‘traditional’ health system, able to translate the work of the WLR and the interests of the NHS.

We are now seeking a Deputy Head of Major Gifts to play a pivotal role within this high-performing and evolving team. Blending trusts and foundations with high-net-worth individual fundraising, this role will focus on building and stewarding a mixed portfolio of donors while strengthening Greenpeace UK’s climate philanthropy. • Manage a portfolio of major donors, trusts, and foundations giving £100,000+, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding long-term partnerships

Essential skills and experience:

• A strong track record in high-value fundraising, across trusts & foundations (including family foundations) AND major donors

• Personally securing six-figure gifts from T&Fs and major donors
• Experience managing a portfolio of donors and funders within a complex, values-driven, or global organisation
• Proven success engaging senior stakeholders, including Board members, and philanthropic networks
• A proactive, self-starting approach, with the ability to shape a new role and drive activity forward
• Effective collaborator, able to work seamlessly across fundraising, campaigns, and international teams

About Us

Bridges Outcomes Partnerships (BOP) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works alongside Government, community groups and specialist Delivery partners to design and deliver vital services that support people to improve their lives, in areas ranging from housing and employment to education and health & wellbeing.

About the role

In 2018 Bridges Outcomes Partnerships co-designed the Single Homelessness Prevention service with Brent Council following the Homelessness Reduction Act (2018). The service provides early intervention to prevent or relieve homelessness for single people who previously would not have received support, aiming to prevent the mental trauma associated with homelessness and stop individuals reaching crisis point.

Our services continue to evolve into models that combine homelessness prevention, refugee support, and family stability interventions to improve life chances for vulnerable people and reduce the long-term impacts of housing instability and child poverty.

The Referral & Assessment Officer is a key role within the London Partnership, it is the first point of contact for people who have experienced trauma or are struggling to find a home.  

As part of the role, you will be responsible for the following activities within this element of the service

· Receiving inbound referrals into the London central point of access, ensuing all data points are completed and case assessed to ensure referral to the right delivery partner/service.   

· Reviewing and processing referrals into the online referral portal, triaging to the most appropriate service for them.

· Ensure that referrals are triaged and allocated to a specialist organisation within the agreed timeframes

· Inputting and processing self-referrals into the SHPS case management system

· Identify, record and refer any immediate safeguarding concerns through the appropriate pathways

· Ensuring the case management system is maintained through timely and accurate record keeping

· Build strong, positive and collaborative relationships with relevant agencies to enable effective referral pathways into specialist services within the partnership and to external services

· Work closely with the Programme Manager to provide details on referral activity and outline any issues or opportunities which might need intervention.

· Ensure the service is accessible to all, recognising peoples’ differences, experiences, communication/language and accessibility needs

· Provide regular reporting to programme lead and commissioners.

We are looking for an Advisor to provide quality advice, information and support to students using the Advice Service, including casework and accompanying students to meetings and hearings. This is an opportunity to work as part of our Advice and Wellbeing department, ensuring students feel supported, informed and striving for positive outcomes whenever possible.

The advisor will provide support by delivering high quality and accurate advice and information to students using the Advice Service. This will include housing, academic, and employment matters, through casework, support and acting as a ‘friend’ for students in UCL committees, panels, hearings or other meetings. The successful candidate will work effectively with Union and UCL teams, including academic and professional services staff in Casework and Student Support and Wellbeing Services. They will also contribute to the production of engaging and useful content to support students needs.

We’re looking for a Stories and Content Officer to join our team

Salary: Circa £32,000

Base: Central Edinburgh/hybrid

Hours: Full time and permanent.  35 hours a week over core working hours of 10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The office is open 8am - 7pm daily and our hybrid working policy requires all full-time employees to work at least two days a week in the Edinburgh office. Working hours can be adapted for the right candidate.
