Home-Start Hillingdon is looking for a Dad Matters Co-ordinator to join our collaborative, experienced team. This role will work alongside our existing Co-ordinator to grow and strengthen our Dad Matters programme across the borough.

Dad Matters focuses on the first 1001 days, supporting fathers and male carers to build strong bonds with their baby, alongside support for their mental health and access to services. It’s a role that combines direct work with dads and the practical coordination behind the scenes to keep the service running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

Building on the strong foundations of our current Dad Matters programme, you will work collaboratively with our existing Co-ordinator, with a focus on:

• Planning and delivering weekly peer support sessions for dads
• Supporting the development and delivering Dad’s antenatal sessions with local NHS services
• Recruiting, coordinating and supporting volunteers to contribute to the programme
• Helping dads develop their understanding of building strong parent-infant relationships
• Raising awareness of fathers’ mental health and suicide prevention, especially in the perinatal period
• Supporting the development of a Dad Matters volunteer programme

You’ll be working closely with an experienced colleague, sharing delivery while also taking a lead on planning, organisation, communication and the co-ordination of groups and activities.

This role would be ideal for somebody with experience of working with families or parents, and of planning and running activities, with a genuine passion for supporting fathers to build strong, positive relationships with their babies, look after their mental health and feel more confident in their role. You will be able to engage fathers from a wide range of backgrounds, while also bringing strong organisational, communication and coordination skills to support the delivery of the programme.

What’s the job?
The Trading Support Assistant role is a full time, permanent post within the Trading Support Department. Your purpose will be to provide administrative support to the central billing team, working across several different teams, and getting relevant information from suppliers where required. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the trading support team and review product lines, inputting and checking information across multiple systems. This will involve taking in information from different sources and entering it into a variety of different systems, making attention to detail and logic crucial skills for success. You will also act as one of the points of contact within NUS’s relationship with students’ unions who are part of the purchasing consortium and with administrative service providers, such as Focus IT. Furthermore, you will act as one of the points of contact within NUS’s relationship with suppliers to ensure that relevant sustainability information is provided through the tender processes. You will report to the Central Billing Manager.

Other responsibilities include maintaining awareness of and acting within agreed processes and procedures for central billing and contract administration, undertaking all necessary duties and activities to deliver the role’s responsibilities, alerting the Central Billing Manager to any barriers encountered and contributing to the successful resolution of any issues. You will also be expected to actively engage in individual and team professional development activities, carry out responsibilities in a resource-efficient manner, and adhere to NUS policies and practices, actively supporting and promoting the NUS vision, mission and objectives.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate a comprehensive blend of experience, knowledge, skills, and attributes. What the job involves

Help us make it easier for men affected by prostate cancer to access the support they need, when they need it most. In this new role, you’ll develop and grow new referral and signposting pathways into Prostate Cancer UK’s services, working with NHS clinicians, Trusts and partner organisations to ensure more men and their loved ones get the right support at the right time.

You’ll build strong relationships across healthcare, charities and local services, identifying opportunities to connect people with our support services and putting the right operational and governance arrangements in place to make these pathways successful and sustainable.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll test and improve innovative approaches, using data and insight to understand what works best. You’ll play a key role in shaping future service delivery, ensuring our support reaches more people who need it.

We’re looking for someone with experience working across the UK health system and a strong understanding of cancer care, patient pathways and the role these support services play in improving patient outcomes. How and where we work

About the opportunity:

We are looking for someone exceptional to join our team as we build new projects and partnerships.

As a Social Investment Manager, you will work on the outcomes contracts activity in both the UK and other high-income countries. You will develop new projects and partnerships along with ongoing management of the existing portfolio.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll do:

> Initiate and execute the development of outcomes partnerships opportunities: Identifying and engaging with challenges faced by central and local government and delivery partners to develop impactful delivery models which tackle those challenges.

> Lead on the implementation of a full project lifecycle of an outcomes-based project and a portfolio of outcomes partnerships, including tasks such as leading on initial assessment and investment processes in project development, developing outcome contract models, leading operational and financial analysis, managing complete legal negotiations and documentation processes.

> Innovating in our delivery: Proactively engaging with key stakeholders to develop and implement delivery innovations while considering any key assumptions around operations, impact, and finance; supporting teams to solve problems using first principles. The Finance Business Partners (FBP) report to their Finance Business Partnering Manager (FBPM) based in London within the Finance, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team and hold key relationships with Programme Heads and Leads, the core Finance team and members of the Programme Management and Development teams based in London and other ClientEarth entities.
