The role will be part of a small team that works to support ISEAL Community Members to improve their management and use of data and technology. The team this role is part of facilitates peer-to-peer learning and involves ISEAL Community Members in digital innovation projects that strengthen a range of processes and unlock new value in sustainability systems.

The coordinator will be part of this journey of peer-to-peer learning, pilot testing, and discovery. The role will collaborate with different ISEAL teams and be in contact with ISEAL Community Members and their partners, making this an excellent opportunity to learn about a wide range of initiatives.

To be considered, you will enjoy working on a varied and changing set of coordination tasks working with data practitioners, and will thrive on engaging with complex systems and learning more about topics related to sustainability standards. Some of the knowledge areas you may have come across could include: data management, data collection, geographic information systems (GIS), assurance & auditing, supply chain traceability or environmental and social reporting.

The key responsibilities we entrust you with

Member engagement and Community of Practice

• The Community of Practice is a group of data practitioners from ISEAL community member organisations, who come together to share learning, discuss issues and trends and look at potential innovation based on data and technology.
• Act as the main point of contact for the Data Community of Practice (CoP), scheduling meetings and managing communications on the ISEAL online platform
• Establish and build relationships with Community Members’ data practitioners to understand their current capacities and identify priority topics for cross-learning related to data
• Support in planning outreach to Community Members, using tools such as Salesforce to track participation and identify opportunities to increase engagement in the Data CoP
• Facilitate Community Members’ understanding and self-assessment of relevant data maturity themes and topics
• Support in the design, content development and facilitation of engagement opportunities that feature Member exchange and learning about data
• Support the planning, delivery, and follow-up of Data CoP events

Project support

• Coordinate project processes, including implementing procurement procedures, drafting contracts with consultants (based on ISEAL templates) and maintaining project-related systems
• Support drafting and production of relevant newsletters, website articles, and report sections
• Proof-read, edit, design, and format documents in Word and Powerpoint, using ISEAL templates
• Contribute to outreach to project stakeholders, Community Members, partners & event attendees, answering and directing queries and scheduling appointments and virtual/ in-person meetings
• Organise meeting logistics and delivery of virtual, hybrid, and in person meetings, agenda preparation, notetaking, audio recording and tracking / implementation of follow up actions
• Provide technical support during Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings, operate other engagement tools (e.g. EasyRetro, Miro, Jamboard, etc), and facilitate break-out rooms
• Carry out background research, review documents, and gather and analyse information on digital innovations, using templates and tools such as Excel
• Attend conferences and learning events and share relevant learnings internally
• Build understanding of Community Members' and external stakeholders’ data needs and capabilities.

Information management

• Maintain resources and web pages related to data governance and information management on the ISEAL online platform
• Facilitate peer exchange and knowledge sharing on priority topics through online platform
• Manage a GitHub repository

General

• Assist and participate in discussions related to the data and information management programme
• Assist in promoting best practice in use of IT, communications and knowledge management systems
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Essential attributes, skills & knowledge

• Experience working in a project support role or data-related role focused on project administration, data and information management, data analysis, and/or stakeholder engagement
• Experience and comfort working with data and digital related subject matter, possibly gained through research, project communications and/or analysis and review of data sets
• Strong organisational skills, and experience with administration, meeting coordination, logistics contracts, budget tracking, etc.
• Good communication skills for partner and external communication and comfortable providing facilitation support (e.g. webinars, workshops etc)
• Good time management and ability to organise multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently with precision and strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote, international environment, including regular international time-zone calls
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with changing projects and working with multiple project leads
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Confidence in using the Microsoft Office suite and IT systems, familiarity with virtual meeting tools (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom, etc), use of contact management databases (e.g. Salesforce)
• Interest in sustainability issues

• Experience in data collection, research, monitoring and evaluation.

About the role:

When someone sustains a spinal cord injury, it is a life changing experience.

Back Up’s Regional Outreach and Engagement team are the very face of the organisation and are based across the UK, working directly with spinal cord injury centres, hospitals – or indeed anywhere that people affected by spinal cord injury may be.

As a Regional Coordinator, you will build relationships and take ownership for what happens in your geographical area. Job Purpose

The purpose of the Programme Coordinator is co-ordinate with all parties (Community Engagement Manager, the Programme Manager, LMK Leaders and the host organisations) to enable LMK to deliver high quality workshops for young people/youth work professionals/workplaces. 

Acting as the lynchpin of the organisation’s delivery team, the Programme Coordinator takes the workshop brief from the LMK Community Engagement Manager and then works with the Programme Manager to secure facilitators (LMK leaders), ensures the host organisation receives all supporting information, and provides LMK Leaders with the resources they need to deliver the workshop effectively. This role is also responsible for regular reporting about workshop bookings and delivery. 

Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will be part of LMK’s core staff team. You will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders, members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our long-term strategy. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide excellent customer service to organisations who are hosting LMK workshops, ensuring that all communication is timely and accurate, and any questions are responded to in full.

• Liaise with the Programme Manager and LMK Leaders to ensure there is clear understanding around their areas of expertise, availability and any specific considerations that need to be taken into account when delivering workshops.

• Open up opportunities to deliver workshops to any Leader applicable, ensuring the allocation of workshops is done fairly and consistently.

• Ensure LMK leaders have the information and resources required to deliver their workshop.

• Work closely with the Research and Evaluation Manager to ensure that the correct evaluation surveys are made available to workshop participants. 

• Work with our Head of Fundraising to track workshop delivery against funder commitments.

• Keep the CRM system data up to date in a timely way.

• Produce regular reports for the CEO on the booking and delivery of workshops, as well as any ad-hoc reports requested. 

• Share Leader evaluation feedback from workshops with Leaders.

• Check invoices submitted by LMK leaders, and work with the Programme Manager to get them approved. 

• Support the Programme Manager to organise LMK Leader Huddles and training events.

• Comply with our policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, confidentiality, complaints and data protection.

Person specification

• At least 2 years’ experience in an event management/admin management/executive assistant/operations role where there was a strong requirement to work with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent track record of customer service.

• Proven ability to work well within a team.

• Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and ability to pay attention to detail.

• Excellent organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail.

When a family member has a spinal cord injury, it can be difficult to acknowledge and accept that their injury will affect you too.

You might find it difficult to express and share how you have been affected by these events, especially to your loved one with the injury. Overwhelming feelings of guilt, helplessness, confusion and isolation are very common. 

Back Up’s Family Support team are there to help. Right from the point of injury, our Family Support Coordinators work together with the family and the injured person to create their own ‘Family Plan’ - making sure they have access to information and support throughout the rehabilitation journey.

Young Adult Carers Service Coordinator

Carers’ Hub works to improve carers’ lives in Lambeth through quality services and community engagement. We are an independent local charity, who work with carers aged five upwards. Whether financial, educational or otherwise, they seek to limit the challenges that carers face and achieve this by improving carer’s wellbeing, connecting carers to support and training opportunities, awareness raising and influencing local policy. We are now recruiting for a Young Adult Carers Service Coordinator to join our team.

As the Young Adult Carers Service Coordinator you will: 

• Deliver an engaging, accessible range of workshops, social activities and one to one support for our young adult carers, working to targets and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to funders.

• Support the wider young carers service by being a first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries. 

• Develop external relationships and communications in a way that promotes the welfare of carers in Lambeth and enhances the image of the organisation. 

• Work with the Carers' Hub team to support our wider organisational objectives and helping out with events, communications and other ad hoc work.

To be considered for this role you will have experience of working with vulnerable young people and managing complex cases as well as knowledge of safeguarding protocols including referring and escalation to Children’s Social Care. Back Up’s vocation service aims to be the leader in supporting people with spinal cord injury to return to work and our Vocation Coordinators are the main point of contact to help service users reach their vocational goals. They work in partnership with spinal units and other stakeholders such as employers to raise aspirations, coordinating activities such as our Skills for Work courses and Careers Fair, as well as providing telephone support to service users.

About Us

Unfold is an established local charity (previously known as Westminster Befriend a Family), supporting young people and families to reach their potential, identifying and achieving their goals through mentoring. We support families and young people in Westminster and its neighbouring boroughs with mentoring programmes and peer support groups for women with children.

For 30 years, we have been providing support to vulnerable families who are at risk of social exclusion. Working with a network of trained and DBS checked volunteers, we offer mentoring to women with children and young people, building independence and getting them where they want to be.

Roles and Responsibilities 

Supporting the planning and delivery of volunteer strategy with the aims of 1) Increasing the number of volunteers available to us as we grow and expand geographically and develop programme focus; 2) Diversifying our volunteers; 3) Improving volunteer experience and; 4) Increasing volunteer retention.
