Job Purpose:
- Contribute to hyh’s overall Fundraising strategy as a member of the Fundraising Team
- Have day to day responsibility for the Individual Giving income stream
- Manage a portfolio of existing Individual Giving supporters, providing exceptional supporter care and building relationships, stewarding and nurturing existing donors.
- Improve supporter retention and maximise donors’ lifetime value to hyh
- Manage, develop and lead on the use of hyh’s CRM effectively to segment data and make insight-led decisions. This includes developing new reports, liaising with the external CRM consultant to make improvements, writing up procedures and training members of the team in best practice.
- Acquire and develop new donors through solicitation and stewardship plans using a supporter journey programme to build engagement and loyalty.
- Develop marketing and comms materials through digital and other channels to deliver the programme.
- Maximise all opportunities to develop regular giving, appeals, one-off occasion donations, in-mem and legacy

About the role
We are looking for a creative, pro-active and outgoing Corporate Relationship Manager to join our team who can build on our successful corporate partnership programme. We would welcome applications from candidates with strong corporate fundraising or comparable experience who can maintain and develop existing relationships with corporate partners and proactively identify and secure new relationships. As a key member of our Corporate Engagement Team, you will be responsible for researching prospective corporate partners for specific industry sectors and building a pipeline of potential sources of income, identifying new opportunities and growing our partnership base as well as maximising income from current partners, and leading on our corporate volunteering programme. You’ll be leading the Owned Events & Products team in the development and delivery of bespoke event, campaigns and products including our flagship event RBC Race for the Kids. You’ll work across the wider Fundraising and Marcomms teams, and with external stakeholders to lead a team to deliver new and existing products, meet ambitious targets and provide an exceptional supporter experience.
About You
- You’ll be a strong people manager and competent working with multiple stakeholders.

About the role

This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

About this key role
Our successful candidate will work collaboratively with senior management to contribute to the implementation of the new income generation strategy – focusing specifically on retention and developing our unrestricted voluntary income from a range of funding streams. You will diversify and improve the ways in which we generate unrestricted income from individual giving through proactive, innovative ideas, plus develop and design high-quality appeals, presentations and pitches to garner wider national support and brand awareness for St Giles.

Main Responsibilities
Across 12 months you will be working to embed our innovation strategy; driving forward new product development, showcasing a fresh approach to innovation, and supporting colleagues to embrace innovation. Ideal Candidate
Working with Teams from across Fundraising, you'll need to be experienced at engaging and influencing colleagues at all levels. You will be naturally curious, motivated to get under the skin of the charity sector and really understand what makes our supporters tick. While experience working in a dedicated innovation role isn't necessary, experience using tools to uncover insight, facilitate workshops, generate ideas, test propositions, and deliver compelling business cases is essential. Running end-to-end innovation sprints, you will be organised, proactive and confident at managing stakeholders. You'll be able to balance conflicting workstreams to deliver amazing new propositions at pace.
The LSO Development department is looking for a knowledgeable and self-motivated individual to join our team as Trusts & Foundations Officer at an exciting time in the LSO’s history. Reporting to the Trusts & Foundations Manager, the role will primarily work within the Trusts and Foundations team to establish and maintain relationships with grant-giving bodies to help meet and grow income targets. These grants support a range of LSO activities, including projects within our pioneering learning and engagement programme, LSO Discovery; our exciting artistic season at the Barbican Centre; international tours; new commissions for the LSO and recordings produced by our record label LSO Live.
About you
Experience in fundraising from trusts, foundations and other grant-giving bodies is essential for this role, alongside strong communication skills, high attention to detail and a passion for creating concise and compelling written copy. An interest in orchestral/classical music is desirable.
The Trusts & Foundations Officer will also support the wider fundraising of the Department, helping to steward current and potential supporters at concerts, special events, and LSO Discovery projects taking place across east London.
