There will be a requirement to work irregular hours as well as frequent local travel.

Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. The Role
As part of our strategy for growth and national impact, SCAA is seeking a motivated individual to manage our newly formed Data function, as Data and Insights Manager. This is a hands-on managerial role, which will contribute to both the immediate data management requirements and lead on the development of the longer-term Data and Insights Strategy for SCAA.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in embedding a culture of data-driven decision making, using insights and analysis to support future growth, with a particular focus on fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement. They will ensure the right frameworks and infrastructure are in place to allow for effective data management and data-driven decision-making across the charity.
This is a full time role based either at Scone Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located, or at our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport (for Aberdeen-based candidates there will be the requirement to attend our Perth base on an occasional basis). The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current arrangements consist of a minimum of two office days per week. As our ways of working continue to evolve, we are open to reviewing the hybrid arrangement for this role, and fully remote working may be considered in the longer term.
About You
Essential
- Significant experience leading data strategy, governance or CRM development in a fundraising, marketing or customer insight environment.
- Strong knowledge of data protection and GDPR compliance, with understanding of DPO responsibilities.
- Demonstrable experience in designing and interpreting data analysis and insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Experience overseeing CRM systems from a strategic perspective, including planning for improvements or new systems.
- Working knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools from a user or strategic oversight perspective.
- Excellent leadership and line management skills, with experience developing staff and building data capability within the wider team.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders with complex data insights.
- Project management skills.
Desirable
- Experience within the charity sector, especially in fundraising or supporter engagement.
- Experience working with finance teams on reconciliation and Gift Aid processes.
- Qualification in data protection, data analysis, or a related discipline.

The Income Generation and Communications team currently raises £5 million a year to support the work of Bolton Hospice. Our consultant-led team of doctors, nurses and other professional staff provide expert care and support for local people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families, in the hospice and at home. We not only take care of patients' physical needs, but we also consider their emotional, spiritual and social needs too. And we support families and close friends, both during illness and in bereavement.
We care for patients throughout their illness, helping to improve their wellbeing and quality of life. We also provide compassionate, dedicated and dignified care for patients at the end of their life. As our services and reach increase, so does our income target, so the successful candidate will build on our previous fundraising success and ultimately help us reach more of the people in Bolton who need us.
The Role:
You will act as the first point of contact for individuals, groups who are fundraising on the hospice’s behalf, providing information, support and advice and delivering excellent supporter care.
You will be responsible for maximising participation in community fundraising activities through effective promotion of the wide range of opportunities to organise events and raise funds on the hospice’s behalf including the planning and delivery of community-based mass participation events such as the Bolton Hospice Reindeer Run.
You will inspire support and help raise the profile of the work of the hospice from community groups, associations, companies and schools by providing talks and presentations about the organisation.
Developing new and existing relationships, networking and identifying and approaching potential supporters is key to the role.
What you need:
You’ll need to be creative and flexible in order to continually adapt to the changing fundraising climate and evolve the hospice’s fundraising appeals programme as necessary.
It is a busy role, and no two days are the same, so you’ll be highly organised in order to develop thorough plans, juggle competing priorities and problem solve effectively.
You will be an inspiring and enthusiastic communicator and relationship-builder and be passionate about providing excellent supporter care. You’ll be able to use your talents to negotiate and influence stakeholders when required.
Proactive and dynamic, you’ll be able to manage an ongoing calendar of appeals whilst constantly looking to develop new fundraising initiatives. Experience of working for a charity would be an advantage, but not essential.

Your role
As a Fundraising and Partnerships Lead, you will:
- Manage and grow the regions partnership pipelines, identifying and capitalising on new opportunities

Be able to provide this as verbal updates and electronically - making comparisons against projections, historical performance and industry averages.
- Keep up to date and ensure SBS complies with fundraising legislation, standards and best practice including GDPR and PECR.
- Support SBS with detailed knowledge of the United Bible Societies (UBS) fellowship projects SBS support and provide a steer on what opportunities there are that would fit with the overall strategy for SBS.
- Set objectives for the Fundraising team in line with the fundraising strategy and overall strategy for SBS.
- Motivate and support staff in setting their personal objectives and managing their performance by providing encouragement, feedback and having regular 1-2-1s with them so they achieve their objectives and that of the team, department and overall SBS objectives.
- Fulfill line management responsibilities in line with policies and procedures for line managers at SBS (e.g. appraisals, holiday requests, absence monitoring, recruitment).
About you
- SBS believes that spiritual maturity, character and behaviour are just as important as fundraising competence, therefore you will be a devoted follower of Jesus with a passion for the Bible. You will be active in a local church that supports your vocation and provides spiritual support.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior fundraising or development position.
- Proven track record of leading fundraising strategy and campaigns for a charitable organisation, or a background in campaign management driving sales for a commercial organisation.

This role is home-based with mobile working, as you can expect to work across Northern Ireland to meet with your team and supporter’s face to face approximately 1 to 2 days a month. The Eikon Charity helps children and young people in Surrey to feel and be safe, heard, and supported. Through one-to-one support, group work, and programmes in schools, Eikon helps children build confidence, resilience, and the skills they will need to navigate life’s challenges.
This is a senior fundraising role within Eikon’s Trusts & Grants team, focused on generating significant voluntary income from charitable trusts, foundations, and local government funders. With an overall team target of £1m, this postholder will contribute around £250k per year through a mix of high-quality applications, strategic account management, and relationship building.
The role requires both strong bid writing skills (especially for complex, high-value and multi-year proposals) and excellent interpersonal skills to develop and steward relationships with funders. It offers the opportunity to take on more responsibility within the team, deputise for the Grants Lead when needed, and help shape Eikon’s fundraising approach.
As Senior Trust Fundraiser, you will:
- Raise circa £250k annually from a mix of trusts, foundations, and local government grant funders (restricted and unrestricted)
- Lead on developing a portfolio of high-value, multi-year funders, cultivating new prospects and strengthening existing relationships
- Research, write, and submit compelling, tailored proposals and reports
- Work collaboratively with the Grants Lead on strategic bids (e.g. The National Lottery Community Fund, Community Foundation for Surrey)
- Develop an approach for growing unrestricted income
- Actively network across Surrey to identify new leads and opportunities
- Provide excellent account management through regular reporting, funder meetings, and creative stewardship (e.g. site visits, events)
- Manage accurate pipeline and reporting on Donorfy CRM, supporting both team and board-level reporting
- Deputise for the Grants Lead at meetings where required
- Provide peer support to colleagues in the fundraising team
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proven track record in trusts and foundations fundraising (including complex, high-value proposals)
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information persuasively
- Confident in building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders
- Comfortable independently representing Eikon at external meetings and networking events

BookTrust, the charity that champions the power of reading, is seeking a Head of Fundraising in a new senior role to oversee the strategic development and management of their voluntary income, to help them deliver their goals to shape a national reading culture.
BookTrust is the UK’s largest children’s reading charity, reaching over 1.3 million children and families across England, Wales and Northern Ireland each year and delivering evidence-informed programmes that make a measurable difference to children’s reading behaviours. Their work is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to enjoy reading and all the lifelong benefits it brings. In recent years, the charity’s work has focused on helping children from low-income and vulnerable family backgrounds to become regular readers.
The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for stewarding an existing portfolio of major statutory and voluntary funders, and managing BookTrust’s high value and individual giving portfolio. This includes trusts and foundations, statutory funders and corporate partners from the publishing sector and beyond, from Waterstones to Build-A-Bear. The post-holder will build on significant fundraising growth over the last three years, and will work to further grow and diversify fundraising income to meet the goals of the charity’s recently launched 2025-2030 strategic plan.
The successful candidate will be engaging, experienced and have a proven record across high value fundraising (with a preference for major donor/philanthropy, trusts and corporate partnerships), as well as having a good knowledge of Individual Giving.
They will have experience of operating at a senior leader level with a charity, with responsibility for liaising with, and reporting to, the SLT and the Board, and will be able to show demonstrable success in achieving personal and team income targets. About the role
For 50 years, Kidney Care UK has been at the forefront of supporting people with kidney disease. From our early days when we campaigned to introduce donor cards in the UK, we have worked hard to support and represent the interests of everyone affected by kidney disease.
We are looking for a passionate, talented Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our ambitious, successful Fundraising team that has been growing non-legacy income 34% year-on-year since 2021 as we approach our new 5 year fundraising strategy.
This role is responsible for managing and developing the charity’s portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, securing significant gifts and growing the long-term potential of this portfolio (target for this 12 months period is £378,000). There are no direct reports, however the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with Senior Management Teams, other departments and stakeholders to build and develop cases for support to help fund our much-needed work.
The successful candidate will utilise their expert writing skills to shape those cases for support into compelling, high-quality proposals and reports.
Building relationships with a wide range of audiences including funders is key. Inspiring them to support kidney patients across the UK and engage with the kidney community, enabling them to tell their stories and better communicate how larger trust grants can make a real difference for people with chronic kidney disease.
A dynamic, self-motivated, ambitious and pro-active fundraiser is required for this role, demonstrating enthusiasm for the projects and services we are seeking funds to support.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience and a proven track record of successful income generation and delivering against targets.
You will have demonstratable experience in researching potential Trust funders, submitting compelling proposals, securing funding and project managing successful bids through to completion of the grant award.
You will also have a background in report writing and demonstrating grant impact whilst being able to build relationships with funders, individual/major donors and senior stakeholders.
Experience of providing excellent supporter care, building mutually beneficial long-term relationships with funders is a must for this role.
Key responsibilities
Research and process management
- Work closely with our Director of Patient Support Services (Patient Grants, Hospital Grants, Advocacy and Counselling) to fully understand our work, and with our Director of Finance to fully understand the costs of delivering our work
- Build strong cases for support, ensuring that you have all the information needed to create compelling proposals and reports for high and mid-value funders
- Research and identify prospective trusts and foundations and other grant giving bodies
- Grow and maintain a strong trust funding pipeline, creating new trust prospects for our priority funding areas
- Develop our long-term trusts and foundations strategy, and agree ongoing budgets and targets for this income stream
- Maintain accurate records including tracking and analysing opportunities, results, and outcomes
Fundraising
- Identify and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects and opportunities which have the potential to deliver five- and six-figure grants
- Work with colleagues across Kidney Care UK to develop and submit high-value and high-quality trust and foundation bids for a range of short, medium and long term projects
- Develop relationships with the Senior Management Team and other key stakeholders across the charity maximising every opportunity for cultivation and development
- Champion ways of working with the kidney community to enhance your fundraising approaches
- Plan and organise opportunities for funders to view Kidney Care UK’s work first-hand, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed and met
Reporting
- Compile comprehensive and compelling progress reports to feed back to grant makers in a timely fashion and incentivise continued support
- Alongside the Director of Finance prepare accurate budgets detailing spending of specific grants
- Draw down on any multi-year grants as outlined in our annual budget
- Provide briefing notes and income pipeline on donor activities and potential funding opportunities
