Rape Crisis South London (RCSL) is seeking a skilled, passionate, and professional Advocacy Manager to join our team and lead our ISVA and Casework department. 
 

As Advocacy Manager (maternity cover), you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality support services for survivors of sexual violence, particularly those engaging with or considering engagement with the criminal justice system. You will manage a team of ISVAs (Independent Sexual Violence Advocates), Caseworkers, and our Advocacy Operations Administrator, ensuring excellence in recruitment, induction, and training.
 

Reporting to the Director of Programmes, you will play a key leadership role within our organisation, working collaboratively with colleagues across our frontline services and our training and prevention teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management

• Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and good practices.

Team Management and Supervision

• Coordinate the organisation of workshops and events, integrating resident suggestions and feedback.

• Maintain contact with residents absent for extended periods without notice and facilitate welcome visits while adhering to GDPR and safeguarding rules.

Service Delivery

• Oversee the quality of support and housing services at TR and ER, maintaining rental accounts, minimising arrears, and managing terms of Licence Agreements.

• Manage complex issues or tenancy breaches.

• Lead control of voids and rent arrears and ensure new residents are effectively inducted.

• Conduct risk assessments for building and fire safety, supervise repairs, and manage reception duties.

• Ensure the completion of necessary training for all team members, including de-escalation, and handle sensitive situations professionally.

Partnership Development

• Cultivate and manage partnerships with local authorities, housing providers, and contractors to support service delivery.

• Develop new partnerships as required, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Administrative Duties

• Assist with monitoring staff rota, cover arrangements, and update internal MIS systems like INFORM.

• Handle basic rent account management tasks and assist building management at TR and ER when required.

• Ensure management decisions are executed effectively, participating in policy reviews and suggesting improvements.

ROLE PURPOSE

You will be part of a team helping to transform lives by enabling young people to manage their licenses and move towards greater independence within the community. This role requires knowledge of supporting individuals with complex needs using trauma-informed approaches and working in a Psychologically Informed Environment. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Proportionality: The occupational requirement is a proportionate means of achieving the legitimate aim, as it directly addresses the needs of residents in a way that cannot be achieved through alternative measures, such as reallocating duties or employing male/male presenting staff for this role.

About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Therapy Service Manager (Job Share) to co-lead our passionate therapy team at Headway East London. The Therapy Service Manager is responsible for leading the therapy team to plan and deliver an excellent service which empowers our community of brain injury survivors. Healthwatch City of London are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced communications and engagement officer to ensure that the patient and service users voice is at the heart of Health and Social Care decision making.  The successful candidate will drive engagement with the local community, creating visibility of our work to residents and partners. This part time role (4 days a week) is within a busy small team representing the residents, workers and students of the City of London. Healthwatch City of London are the independent champion for people who use health and social care services. We’re here to make sure that those running services, put people at the heart of care. Our sole purpose is to understand the needs, experiences and concerns of people who use health and social care services, and to speak out on their behalf. Role purpose

Working closely with the General Manager and Trustees you will develop and deliver the communications and engagement strategy for the organisation, making sure the patients voice is at the heart of everything we do. You will write monthly newsletters, daily social media posts, organise and manage engagement and information events and produce statutory publications. You will also deliver the volunteer strategy by recruiting and managing a wide-ranging volunteer team and identifying relevant projects which enhance and deliver on Healthwatch City of London objectives. 

Your role is to manage a range of Central Services for the Eikon Charity and to be a familiar constant presence in the Eikon offices. Central Services includes IT, Data Compliance, Health and Safety, Facilities. Facilities includes the site at Fullbrook and the associated site maintenance of the cabins and the garden. In addition to this you will line manage the reception function on site. A portion of the role will be managing outsourced providers who are accountable to support the specialist nature of these services. These outsource providers include Health and Safety (Croner) IT (ramsac) Data Protection (Satswana). You will also support the service data management work, this involves monthly reporting and service data provision, in accordance with the reporting calendar.

Responsibilities 

IT Management

• Manage the operational IT delivery via Eikon’s IT partner (ramsac) 
• Manage the continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure
• Oversee and direct the work and tasks of the data officer (IT support)
• Attend quarterly management meetings with outsourced IT provider including technical IT consultant visits

What you do
Main purpose of post
This is a senior and strategic role in our fundraising team. You will be
responsible for leading the development and delivery of our Individual Giving
strategy, ensuring sustainable growth in income from individual donors. You
will oversee the retention and stewardship of existing supporters and
implement creative, data-led campaigns to attract new donors across multiple
channels. You will line manage the Legacy and In Memory Manager, supporting
their growth and the success of these high-value income streams.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development and Planning
 Lead the development and execution of a multi-year Individual Giving
strategy.
 Develop and deliver an annual work plan to achieve agreed income
targets.
 Use data insights and donor segmentation to shape compelling and
effective campaigns.

Campaign Management
 Plan, manage, and evaluate a portfolio of Individual Giving campaigns
including:
o Regular giving
o Payroll giving
o Charity lottery
o Online and offline donor acquisition
 Test and implement new fundraising approaches to increase donor
conversion and value.
 Ensure all communications reflect the charity’s tone, values, and brand.

Donor Retention and Stewardship
 Design and implement supporter journeys that deepen donor
engagement and loyalty.
 Work with our Marketing Manager to oversee donor communications to
specific audience groups and stewardship activity, ensuring a positive
supporter experience.
 Monitor donor behaviour and lifetime value to inform stewardship and
upgrade strategies.

Legacy and In Memory Giving
 Provide strategic oversight of legacy and in-memory income streams.
 Line manage and support the Legacy and In Memory Manager to deliver
agreed targets and KPIs.
 Support the development of a legacy marketing plan to grow our legacy
pipeline.
 Support development of relationships with legacy pledgers and inmemory
donors

Budgeting and Performance
 Manage income and expenditure budgets for Individual Giving.
 Track and analyse campaign performance against KPIs and ROI targets.
 Maximise all gift aid opportunities within the agreed audiences.
 Report regularly to the Head of Fundraising on performance,
opportunities, and risks.

Cross-Team Collaboration
 Work with Communications, Digital, and Data colleagues to ensure
campaigns are well-coordinated, data-driven, and creatively delivered.
 Champion best practice in data protection and ethical fundraising.
 Stay informed on sector trends, regulations, and innovations in individual
giving.
 Ensure that all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s
CRM (Raiser’s Edge)

Since the charity’s origins, Caring in Bristol has been powered by the input of hundreds of grass roots volunteers from around Bristol. People give their time and expertise to all our services in different ways, ranging from casual volunteering shifts to long term in-depth consultation about our work in their communities. This role will work across the organisation to build, strengthen, and sustain a strong team of volunteers and community participants to support our strategic priorities. 

The postholder will be responsible for leading on all aspects of our volunteering and community participation programme, including developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing the assigned budget, as well as recruitment, induction, training, support, engagement and retention of volunteers.

Our Volunteers 

We utilise volunteers and community participants across all areas of our work to support and enrich the work we deliver. It is important to understand the different sets of volunteers we work with: 

Winter – over 400 volunteers come together each winter to run our Caring at Christmas day centre and distribute food deliveries across the city. Caring at Christmas has a legacy of over 30 years and relies on a range of volunteers from highly experienced to completely new to the organisation. Additionally, during particularly cold weather, Caring in Bristol volunteers support emergency shelters in the evenings and mornings. 

Food clubs – a small but committed set of volunteers help deliver our Bristol Goods food support programme. We have a fantastic set of regular volunteers at our Hartcliffe and city-centre food clubs with plans for a new location soon. 

Youth services –our accommodation project launched in July 2024, providing four bedrooms for 18-25 year olds each night. Our youth team also run group sessions throughout the week. Volunteers are needed to provide invaluable support to these activities to ensure the young people feel welcome and comfortable. 

Co-Production and Consultation Participants – our committed group of community members are essential to shaping the way we work, taking their housing knowledge out in the wider community. They are often used as a focus group for housing/policy consultations, supported by our Outreach Worker. This work is established in South Bristol, and we are developing a similar group in North Bristol. 

Community Advocates – This is an exciting area of work we wish to develop and grow over the next year; training up community members on Housing Rights and routes for support, empowering them to share this knowledge, signposting those in need of support so to prevent homelessness. 

Fundraising & Office Volunteers – we often have tasks that volunteers can help with which help the “back office” of the charity. This could include helping to organise events, fundraising activities, stuffing mailing envelopes, stocktaking our food store or offering specialist skills /advice. 

Person Specification

Our advice services provide essential support on issues like benefits, housing, discrimination, access, and more — but our work doesn’t stop there. About the Role

As Advice Manager, you’ll take a strategic lead on developing our advice service to ensure it is accessible and high-quality, and also actively challenge the root causes of inequality. The Advice Manager will have wide ranging responsibilities for the performance, quality assurance and development of internal advice services and will be responsible for achieving and evidencing high quality positive outcomes for service users.

You will Manage our advice teams: Information Navigation, Benefits Advice, Money Advice and our benefits advice contract with South West London and St Georges. We also administer a number of grants on behalf of local grant giving charities and the local authority and you will manage the administration of these grant funds.

We currently have 14 advisors across our advice teams including 2 team leaders in our Information Navigation (general advice) and South West London and St Georges benefits advice team, it is currently 8 direct reports. 

As a key member of our management team you will work closely with other managers. You will also take a lead on Safeguarding and Data protection across the whole organisation and deputise for the CEO as required.

As our Advice Manager, you’ll take the lead in shaping and strengthening our vital advice services by

• Managing, supporting and inspiring a team of skilled advisers and volunteers.

Main purpose of post
This is a senior role within the Fundraising team, responsible for driving forward
Weston Park Cancer Charity’s income generation strategy across key fundraising
channels, particularly within community fundraising, donor development, and
community partnerships. Working with the Head of Fundraising and community
fundraising team, you will lead the design and delivery of an ambitious and

Key Responsibilities
Fundraising:
 Lead and deliver an ambitious and creative community fundraising

schools, faith groups, sports clubs, volunteer fundraisers, and community
organisations.

Overall Purpose of the Corporate Partnernersips and Philanthropy Manager

The Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager is an exciting new role, joining our small and expanding fundraising team.

This new role supports the delivery of our ambitious plans to develop and grow income from corporate partners including pharmaceuticals and major donors.  You will proactively lead on identifying, developing and delivering high and mid value partnerships. Utilising your excellent relationship management, you will think creatively and strategically to develop compelling proposals.

The role holder will work closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager and Chief Executive as we establish, develop, and retain these valued relationships.
