Reporting to the Associate Director of Supporter Engagement, the Head of Partnership Giving will lead a passionate and talented team of five, as well as taking a proactive role in nurturing existing relationships while proactively identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
This role will be responsible for leading the team to generate £1.5m annually and as part of our newly launched Fundraising strategy, will focus on growing High Value partnership income to £2.2 million annually over the next three years. You'll also work closely with the new Head of Personal Giving (who leads on major donor giving) to align strategy and share insights across teams.
This role requires a strategic-minded, motivated and creative leader, with a deep understanding and experience of how to cultivate meaningful, long-term partnerships. At the same time, you'll and will be able to understand funding priorities and use excellent communication and proposal development skills to develop compelling cases for support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and deliver Keech's strategy for partnership income, with a particular focus on securing high-value long term sustainable support.
- Lead the Corporate and Trusts team to develop a long-term pipeline of support, meet financial targets, and identify new opportunities for growth
- Develop compelling cases for support and winning proposals for corporate partnerships, multi-year grants and major campaigns
- Ability to analyse fundraising performance and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Represent Keech externally at networking events, forging new relationships across three counties
- Ensure data-driven decision-making, reporting and continuous improvement across all partnership fundraising activities
Requirements:
- Proven success in securing and growing six/seven figure gifts and managing relationships with high-value partners and stakeholders in the charity, commercial, or related sector.
- Excellent written communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling, inspiring donor proposals and applications.
- Strong team leadership experience, with a track record of building collaborative, high-achieving teams to deliver outstanding results.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and budget management skills.

As part of Keech Hospice's bold new fundraising strategy, we are seeking a dynamic leader to transform the way personal giving contributes to long-term income growth. This pivotal new role offers the opportunity to lead and expand a multi-channel, insight and data-led approach to personal giving - including legacies, in-memory giving, lottery, regular giving, payroll giving, and appeals. Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience managing high-performing fundraising teams and complex budgets (ideally £1M+)
- Proven success building relationships with high-net-worth individuals and philanthropic supporters

As a Fundraiser you will:
- Support the Senior Fundraisers in growing direct fundraising activities.
- Assist in the planning and execution of direct fundraising campaigns, including the setup of new fundraising agencies and campaigns.
- Conduct mystery shopping and call listening to monitor the quality and compliance of fundraising activities carried out by external agencies, ensuring they meet expected ethical and regulatory standards.
- Ensure campaigns adhere to compliance standards and best practices.
- Monitor performance metrics, income, and expenditure.
- Advocate for the mission, ensuring that fundraising activities align with values.
- Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to drive success.
To be successful, you must have experience:
- Highly developed written communication skills to understand, interpret and present complex information in a clear and persuasive way for a range of audience
- Have strong ability to record, analyse, and present financial data in an accurate and impactful way.
- Have experience using Windows based software like Excel, Word, and email, to carry out tasks and projects.
- Willingness to travel across the UK for mystery shopping and engage with external agencies to ensure high standards of fundraising.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team.

More about the role:
The Database and Gifts Officer role is integral to the Development and Alumnae Relations (DAR) department, supporting the school’s fundraising and engagement efforts. The postholder will manage and maintain the alumni and donor database, ensuring the accurate entry of gifts and pledges, and collaborate with the Finance team to ensure financial data is up to date and reconciled. Additionally, the post holder will create targeted mailing lists, conduct due diligence on prospective donors, and support the identification of lost alumnae. The role also involves ensuring compliance with data protection laws and contributing to DAR events, which may occasionally occur outside regular hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience of working on a database, extracting, interrogating and reporting on data.
- Knowledge and experience of Raiser’s Edge, Toucan Tech or a similar fundraising database.
- Demonstrated track record of processing gifts and donations
- Proven track record of database administration, import/export, configuration and problem resolution.
