To lead the Corporate Fundraising team to raise over £1.5m annually, from existing and new corporate partners, through a clear team strategy, pipeline development, cultivating and managing high-value partnerships and supporting direct line reports.
12month fixed term (maternity cover) contract.
Responsibilities:
Strategy, budgeting and reporting

Drive CALM’s corporate fundraising revenue, looking for opportunities to optimise and grow.

Use data, insight and subject matter expertise to inform strategy, budgeting and reporting.

Deliver the corporate fundraising strategy, which focuses on partnership growth and extensions, as well as winning new business - keeping CALM’s values, brand, tone of voice and objectives in mind.

Achieve the annual targets agreed for corporate fundraising.

Steer product development and ideation to develop engaging and revenue driving opportunities across corporate fundraising.

Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practice, with a view to use these to increase CALM’s income.
Leadership and Line Management

Excellent leadership and line management of ~3 team members, supporting them to achieve their objectives and creating a high-performing team.

Provide regular feedback on team performance against targets to the Head of High Value Fundraising, highlighting risks, mitigation plans and future projections that can help the fundraising team budget with confidence.

With guidance and support from the Head of High Value Fundraising, be the ultimate decision maker for all things corporate fundraising including (but not limited to) team processes, workload, priorities, structure and recruitment.

Build excellent working relationships with internal teams at CALM and collaborate with them effectively.

Partnership Management
-
Support the Corporate Fundraising team in delivering excellent relationship management to all of CALM’s high value partners, with a focus on building long-term, sustainable support and revenue.

Be responsible for the creation of robust partnership plans from across the team, incorporating the objectives of both the partner and CALM and agreed, realistic fundraising targets.

Ensure partnership milestones and fundraising targets are monitored, met, reported on and celebrated with key internal and external stakeholders.

When needed, lead by example and personally provide excellent relationship management to a small number of CALM’s key high-value corporate partners significantly contributing to the corporate fundraising budget and strategy.

Confidently represent CALM at key meetings and events, where public speaking and the delivery of CALM Champion Workshops may be required.

Work closely with the Services, Data and MarComms teams to build. engaging impact reports for partners that encourage long-term support.

Devise sustainable exit strategies for partners that leave behind a lasting legacy for CALM.
New Business

Together with the Corporate Fundraising team, develop a strong pipeline of new partnership opportunities with a focus on £50k+ multi-year partnerships.

Lead on, and support the Corporate Fundraising Managers to, cultivate and secure new high-value partnerships, with a focus on five and six figure opportunities in line with our ambitious targets. This could include, but not limited to, prospect research, making proactive approaches, hosting or attending networking events, writing compelling proposals and applications, pitching, leading staff votes and leading on contract negotiations.

Reporting to our Communications Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering the Communications Strategy, crafting content across a range of platforms including The Pilgrims’ Magazine, our website, newsletters and social media.
Strong writing skills are an absolute must for this role, as is a keen eye for design and high levels of digital literacy. As an adept communicator with excellent attention to detail, you’ll be able to turn your hand to anything, from magazine features to short form videos, keeping abreast of the latest trends.
A natural people person with innate curiosity, you’ll embrace opportunities to visit our care homes and housing schemes and capture the stories of life with us – not just those of the older people who live there, but also those of our brilliant staff and volunteers. You’ll then devise creative ways to share these stories so they connect with our different audiences, from prospective residents to new supporters and beyond.
A self-starter, you’ll need to be able to work independently within agreed brand guidelines and with minimal supervision. You’ll also need to be highly organised, ensuring that deadlines are met and that content lands in a timely manner. Through analytics, you’ll monitor engagement, using these insights to inform our evolving content plan and drive growth.
As well as creating compelling content for our core communications platforms, you’ll also provide valuable support to our ambitious press plan, helping to amplify the voice of Pilgrims’ Friend Society in local and national media.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Communications INC’s Delivery Coordinator is a dynamic and creative professional with great organisational skills. The role holder demonstrates expertise in project management, balancing tight deadlines and budgets to produce high quality materials for a wide portfolio of clients.
The role holder works closely with their Delivery team colleagues and Account Managers to create materials that advance a portfolio of clients, projects and campaigns’ communications efforts.
Alongside the Production Manager, the Delivery Coordinator drives forward production of innovative, attention grabbing written and visual content for print and digital applications and is a champion for enhancing systems and processes within the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production
- Coordination of end-to-end production processes for campaign materials, including videos, graphics, and print collateral.
- Support the liaison with external vendors, printers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating new suppliers aligned with the Communications INC's values and the values of environmental and social responsibility.
- Contribute to the request for estimates from sustainable suppliers, aligning with project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate client requests for media and OOH advertising, liaising with designers, advertising agencies and the client as needed.
- Produce and manage production briefs, timeline and budgets as required.
- Source high-quality images for campaigns while adhering to copyright and licensing regulations.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of licensed images and provide proper documentation for usage rights.
- Manage and organise a centralised filing system for final product files, ensuring easy accessibility and version control.
- Support team with proofreading requests.

General delivery duties

What we want from you
We're on the lookout for a Data Insight Analyst who's ready to dive deep into the world of data-driven decision-making.
If you're someone who gets a kick out of using data to tackle real-world challenges and shape organisational strategy, then you might just be the perfect fit for our team. You'll need to be comfortable working with large datasets, flexing your data mining and customer profiling muscles.

Fundraising Public Relations Officer
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PR and marketing professional in our London fundraising office to design and deliver creative, multi-channel, integrated fundraising and PR campaigns designed to significantly increase the Hospital’s voluntary income.
The success of this role will be dependent on engaging and building meaningful long-term relationships with both existing and new supporters through effective donor stewardship, attending events, and networking.
The successful candidate will work in conjunction with a small, dedicated team to provide fundraising, comms, and event support to our community fundraising groups.
High quality comms and media are going to be central to our plans to go public in a big way in 2024. Creating high-quality, impactful, and engaging content for multimedia platforms will be key. You’ll be able to identify stories from across the organisation, draw out information and ideas from others, and successfully turn complicated or clinical information into clear, simple, and compelling narratives.
The role requires a creative thinker with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Main responsibilities:
Fundraising
· Develop and implement integrated fundraising, marketing and PR campaigns designed to significantly increase the Hospital’s voluntary income.
· Create and promote compelling and engaging content for web, social media, and email – ensuring that all comms have clear goals and outcomes.
· Manage the key relationships with the Guild fundraising Committee and the SOA fundraising committee including comms, marketing, and event support as well as helping to manage the key relationships with the Knights Templar sub-groups, and the County Priory Groups across the UK.
· To put in place measures for evaluating the effectiveness of all fundraising, PR and marketing activity ensuring robust data collection, analysis procedures, and making suggestions for improvements where required.
· Manage the production of key organisational publications – including, the Jerusalem Scene magazine, Annual Report, Strategic Plan, Annual Leaflet, and other promotional materials.
· To work closely with the Executive Head of UK Office and project partners to deliver a new website, contributing expertise and ideas in regard to its look, feel and functionality.
· Take responsibility for the ongoing management and maintenance of the website, working with external consultants where required to resolve issues.
· Understand and apply the principles of up-to-date SEO.
· Working with colleagues in Jerusalem to maintain a bank of compelling messages, narratives, and case studies for use across all external communications.
PR & Media
· To actively promote the charity’s fundraising endeavours including drafting all external and internal messaging to both new and existing supporters – e.g. email campaigns, newsletters, invitations, letters, speeches, presentations etc. for senior staff and volunteers.
· Managing press and media opportunities related to SJEHG’s fundraising activities.
· Cultivate and maintain relationships with press and media, proactively pitching stories to secure media coverage, drafting press releases, media plans, articles, and other materials for SJEHG’s fundraising activities.
· To provide counsel and advice to senior leadership on external and internal messaging, as required.
Other
· To assist with the management of the marketing budget, monitoring expenses, ensuring cost effectiveness, seeking to maximise return on investment.

The Head of Services - Rough Sleeping is a brand-new role for the organisation and will lead on developing a new internal strategy for young people facing rough sleeping, as well as holding operational oversight of our established youth-specific street outreach function and emergency accommodation hub, both of which are unique in London. You will need to be strategic in approach and an excellent relationship builder. You will act as our lead colleague on relationships with the Greater London Authority and London Councils’ rough sleeping teams, working with them to ensure our learning and insights inform policy and ultimately open up access to emergency support for those under 25. Alongside this you will need a keen eye for operational detail, have experience of delivering homelessness services, and be passionate about piloting new solutions to prevent homelessness among young people.
