International Care Network (ICN) is a Christian charity whose aim is to help to rebuild the lives of asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable migrants. The Community team provides a programme of support and activities for our ICN service users. We are looking for a part-time Crèche Supervisor to join the team to run two community-based crèche for pre-school, migrant children (aged 0 to 4) in Bournemouth. These run alongside our community English classes for women.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and creative early years professional with a suitable childcare qualification at Level 3 or above. She will be a confident leader able to plan and implement a programme of play and learning that is engaging, inclusive and developmental for these children as well as providing support and information to their parents/carers. The Crèche Supervisor is assisted in delivering activity by a Crèche Worker and dedicated Volunteers. This role is pivotal in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young migrant children helping to prepare them for their transition into UK schools.

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:
- At least 3 years’ experience (paid or voluntary) in VAWG, social care, or community support
- Fluency in a South Asian language (e.g. Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi)
- Experience supporting vulnerable groups, especially survivors of abuse and migrants
- A strong understanding of cultural barriers and intersectional challenges faced by South Asian women
- Confidence working both independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication skills
- A trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and empowerment-focused approach

Purpose of job
The Support and Integration Officer is responsible for providing excellent standards of support,
as well as quality information advice and guidance, to enable the resettlement and successful
integration of refugees. This role is one of the main pillars of the service that ACH provides.
Key Responsibilities
Completing an initial Pre-Tenancy Assessment for each person referred to the service as
well as developing a personalised plan of support for them ensuring that it is reviewed
regularly
Giving advice and support on a range of issues including housing, finance, education,
employment, health and immigration, as required.
Supporting people with budgeting / registering with care providers / creating social
networks / advocacy/ volunteering / training / employment opportunities etc.

About the Role
This is a new senior leadership role at IRMO, created to strengthen the coordination and development of our growing programmes and services. As our work has expanded, so has its complexity. This role has been designed to improve cross-team planning, bring greater consistency to our delivery, and embed a stronger focus on learning and impact across everything we do.
As Head of Programmes and Impact, you will be at the heart of a community-led, Latin American-led organisation committed to advancing migrant rights and social justice. You will play a key role in supporting that mission by helping ensure our work is effective, well-resourced and aligned with the needs of the communities we serve.
In this role, you will provide day-to-day support to Programme Managers, connect work across teams, and lead our new Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) function. As part of IRMO’s Senior Management Team, you will help shape and deliver our organisational strategy. You will also play a central role in our participation in the London Communities Human Rights Programme – a four-year project supporting us to embed a human rights-based approach in all areas of our work, in collaboration with the British Institute of Human Rights.

JOB PURPOSE
To provide information, advice, support and advocacy work on all forms of gender based violence faced by migrant women, including forced marriage, rape and sexual abuse, honour based crimes and related issues such as immigration/asylum and no recourse to public funds, matrimonial and children, housing and homelessness, mental health and financial matters. Your casework will focus on women with complex needs.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide a professional high-quality VAWG advocacy and outreach service.
2. Undertake casework and advocacy (this will include liaising with relevant professionals and agencies such as solicitors, social workers, police officers etc.)
3. Provide practical support such as accompanying women to appointments and courts, making reports to such agencies or collecting belongings and otherwise taking all necessary steps to ensure the general safety and wellbeing of women and children.
4. Write assessment reports and support letters, and under supervision, help to collect evidence and statements, as well as undertake some basic legal representation.
5. Undertake risk assessments for referral to the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARACs)
6. Establish links with key partners [local authority, police, health, schools, etc.] to ensure effective referral routes and information sharing protocols.

About the role
This is a new role created at IRMO to strengthen how we measure, understand and communicate our impact. It sits at the heart of a learning-focused, community-led organisation working for migrant rights and social justice. We are open to hiring at either Officer or Lead level, depending on the experience and skills of the successful candidate.
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) who can take the lead in reviewing our current MEL systems and practices, identifying what’s working well and where there’s room for improvement. You’ll help embed more consistent, robust approaches to evidence and learning across the organisation, with the aim of improving the quality of our services and better demonstrating our impact to funders, partners and the community.
This is a 12-month fixed-term role, with the primary goal of strengthening our MEL systems, tools and capacity. There may be potential to extend the contract, depending on organisational needs and funding.
You’ll work closely with Programme Managers to ensure that data is collected, analysed and used in ways that are meaningful and accessible — not only to meet funder requirements, but to improve how we work and support our community. International Care Network (ICN) is a Christian charity whose aim is to help to rebuild the lives of refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. We are seeking an experienced IAA Immigration Advisor to join our friendly team. We need a qualified IAA Level 2 or Level 3 immigration advisor, or a solicitor/barrister with immigration experience. In this role, you will work with marginalised adults and families, guiding them through complex immigration journeys with compassion and professionalism. Thus, the qualified immigration advisor will play a critical role in helping people find hope and stability in the challenging environment of being a migrant in the UK.
You as the immigration advisor will take a holistic approach to supporting and empowering our service users/clients, working with the rest of the ICN team and partner organisations to ensure their needs are met and barriers addressed. Specifically, you will manage your own immigration caseload, concentrating on applications involving family, private life and other human rights matters as well as protection routes. Although ICN does not currently take on asylum cases, you will provide information, advice and referral to other organisations for people seeking asylum.

Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL) are recruiting for an Expert by Experience Coordinator to join our supportive and growing team. The Expert by Experience Coordinator is a new role in our small dynamic charity. The postholder will work to ensure the voices and perspectives of individuals with lived experience of asylum and forced migration are integrated into the design and delivery of AFRIL services and policy work. This role involves facilitating communication, promoting co-production, and empowering individuals to share their expertise to improve services and guide policy priorities.
The post involves coordinating our monthly Members Forum, and working with the core team to feed this into policy and service development, alongside thematic and sometimes practical support to our Allotment Steering Group, Rainbow Club Youth Council and Asylum Hotel Residents Forum. The postholder will develop the AFRIL ambassadors scheme, creating opportunities for former clients to continue to be involved in shaping AFRIL, and work with the Director to develop a governance level co-production structure as agreed with the Board of Trustees.
We are looking for a good people person, able to engage and inspire others, who demonstrates a collaborative approach to working with a range of stakeholders and in particular AFRIL clients who come from a variety of backgrounds. Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL) is seeking our next Executive Director to lead our small, dynamic charity. You will be joining an impactful local organisation at a crucial time in our development. Since 2021 we have grown significantly and sustainably, developing new services based on client needs. The Executive Director has overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the charity, including finance and fundraising, as well as supporting the development and delivery of services. They will work with four experienced project leads to deliver and develop our core services: Casework and Advocacy Service, Rainbow Club Supplementary School, Destitution Service and Food Bank, and our Allotment of Refuge, as well as our Policy and external influencing work led by our Deputy Director for Casework and Policy.
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate who can balance the demands of strategic leadership with the operational execution and development of our services and policy work. We are seeking someone with a high level of operational skill and accountability in operational management and governance. You will be responsible for the central services of the charity including finance, fundraising, legal, HR and communications. We are looking for a thoughtful leader who is passionate about staff and volunteer support. You should have experience and understanding of small charities and the external context within which we operate.
