You’ll be joining a high-performing team that has a large portfolio of high-profile corporate partners including but not limited to Omaze, The Perfume Shop, Slimming World, Bloomberg, TP ICAP, and Dyson. Alongside having just secured brilliant new partnerships with Cadbury, Warburtons and John West.
We’re looking for a New Business Officer to join our team, to secure new partnerships that will grow income and take us one step closer to a cure.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Identify and build strategic relationships to generate income from new corporate supporters.
· A focused and strategic approach to identifying, researching, and targeting prospective corporate partners.
· Work closely with Corporate Partnerships Manager (CPM) to deliver our successful new business strategy.
· Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities to include strategic partnerships and charity of the year partnerships.
· Develop engagement plans for prospects, with innovative, commercially minded ideas, to maximise the chances of securing successful partnerships.
· Create innovative and creative applications/proposals for charity of the year and strategic partnerships.
· Actively network with potential corporate partners through warm contacts, events, conferences, and other available media.
· Ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of new business approaches in liaison with CPM, communicating progress regularly.
· Take full personal responsibility for the timely recording of prospects, actions, updates, and notes within the CRM (Salesforce).
· Work alongside the Partnership Development Officers on new partnership set-up, including establishing legal agreements with corporate partners.
· Work closely with the Philanthropy team to leverage support from major donors and assist the Philanthropy team with their prospects where possible.
· Achieve agreed financial and non-financial targets, including income generation and meetings.
· Support the CPM in the development and implementation of the corporate fundraising strategy for ARUK, to increase the team’s income, to ensure that the best use is made of internal and external contacts
Represent the charity professionally in a high-level corporate context.
· Organise and attend networking and cultivation events as required, influencing, and engaging high-level external contacts.
· Deliver high-quality and creative presentations and proposals to help target and engage prospects and convert them into partners.
· Organise tailored face-to-face meeting opportunities to initiate and build relationships.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current ARUK activities, including research being funded, and be an advocate of ARUK at all times.
What we are looking for:
· Corporate fundraising experience, or business development experience in a corporate role.

· Experience in creatively building new strategic partnerships/clients from scratch within a fundraising and/or corporate environment.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

The Digital Content and Communications Officer (DCCO) reports to the Digital Communications Manager and has responsibility for the SAT-7 UK website, digital marketing and social media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Role purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead, develop and deliver WorldSkills UK’s external Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) programmes supported by stakeholder engagement strategies across our network of industry, education and government. - Support the development and delivery of WorldSkills UK’s external ED&I strategy. 2. Manage the ED&I Advisory Group:
- This is a unique opportunity to work with experienced and prominent senior individuals from across education and industry who are invested in driving the agenda for ED&I.
- Lead the administration and ongoing development of our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Advisory Group.
- Engage the Group to help support, advise and challenge WorldSkills UK on its actions to remove obstacles and barriers faced by young people from under-represented backgrounds in our programmes.
- Report regularly to the Group on progress against KPI’s and facilitate reports for the WorldSkills UK Board.
3. Project Manage the ED&I Heroes Awards
- The Awards is an established flagship event which provides a platform for WorldSkills UK to celebrate success with its partners, amplify best practice and inspire others to drive change across the skills systems in education and business.
- Project manage delivery of the annual Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Heroes Awards, supported by relevant internal teams
- Establish the nominations process
- Co-ordinate the judging panel

4. Manage strategic relationships
- Manage a portfolio of ED&I focused Strategic Partnerships with organisations from across the skills sector, facilitating their support and engagement with our EDI programmes.
- Grow our network of partners to widen our reach, help further drive work in this area and collectively impact on the sector.
- Advise and support the development of the CEO’s international activities on ED&I with WorldSkills International (WSI).
5. Raise the profile of WorldSkills UK’s ED&I work:
- Work with teams across the organisation to support our Mission to ignite a national and global movement to help more young people, regardless of their background, get the best possible start in work and life.
- Support the Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager and Marketing and Communications Team to showcase the impact of our programmes:
- Help to externally profile and articulate the value and impact of our activities using the channels and tools available

- Support the Corporate Partnerships team to identify and secure commercial income related to our ED&I initiatives.

6. Internal ED&I Liaison:
- Whilst not responsible for WorldSkills UK’s internal ED&I activities and agenda it is anticipated that the post holder will spend up to 10% of their time supporting and working with the Corporate Affairs team on internal ED&I matters, with the remaining 90% spent on external work.

Karibuni Children, a UK registered charity, works to help Kenyan children from some of the poorest backgrounds, to fulfil their potential and release themselves from the cycle of poverty. At any one time, we are supporting around 700 children across Kenya and our aim is to walk with the children through their whole education. In addition to providing financial support to enable children to attend high-quality educational institutes, we work to reduce other barriers that may prevent those living below the poverty line from maximising their educational potential. This includes provision of nutritious school meals, school uniforms and shoes, learning equipment and feminine hygiene products. We also support initiatives focused on the empowerment of the wider family unit of each supported child, such as providing workshops on parenting skills, sustainable food production, nutrition, entrepreneurship, and business skills. To further support this, we work with our partners on infrastructure development projects which have the potential to transform the local community and deliver increased self-sufficiency and sustainability.
The charity is seeking to recruit a UK Operations Manager to support the programme of work. The successful candidate will be one of only two paid employees, working with the Trustees to lead the charity through the next phase of its development.
Job Description
Salary: up to £30,000 – 34,000 full time equivalent depending on experience.

Role purpose:

Administration & Operations

This role leads Tinnitus UK's efforts in providing direct support to Tinnitus through multiple channels including telephone, and online. In addition liaises with regional support group leaders in the provision of support, face to face and locally. Given that Tinnitus UK is the only charity in the UIK to provide such services delivery of these services at the highest standard is essential and consequently enhances the reputation of the charity,
The position is responsible for the development of the strategic and annual plans associated with the provision of these support services, and has direct day to day responsibility for implementing them through multiple channels (helpline services, support group and volunteer programme, events) nationally in Tinnitus UK.
This role provides strategic oversight and management of the services portfolio (helpline services, support group and volunteer programme, events) nationally in Tinnitus UK. The post holder works with the Chief Exeutive and the rest of the Leadership team to deliver services, ensuring that goals are achieved through effective management practices, that staff are motivated and supported to build sustainable services to meet the needs and expectations of the tinnitus community and work closesly with research to remain up to date on the latest understanding of the issues that cause tinnitus and solutions that help address and mitigate the challenges facing sufferers.
