We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead and grow our Mediation and Child Contact Services, helping families resolve conflict, support separated parents, and provide safe child focused contact.

What you’ll do

• Develop the of mediation, separated parents, and child contact services in line with Kapella’s strategic plan.
• Oversee service operations, including case management, referral pathways, staffing, scheduling and budgets.
• Line manage a dedicated team of staff, volunteers and placements.
• Manage Safeguarding and ensure compliance with national standards (FMC, NACCC, LAA).
• Build strong partnerships with local agencies, commissioners and funders, identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.
• Monitor performance and impact, ensuring continuous improvement.

• Service Management experience within mediation, family support, parental conflict or similar.

Building relationships with other statutory and non-statutory agencies in local communities is vital to build referral pathways and provide a whole system approach to supporting individuals.

To carry out this work you will meet women in the community in your designated borough and co-locate with other agencies including the National Probation Service, as well as regularly attending Advance’s vibrant Women’s Centre/office space.

You will be a creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder and has good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions.

As our Relationship Fundraiser you'll work with colleagues, Trustees, and supporters to explore the relationships they hold, and how they can add value to our mission.You’ll undertake prospect identification, research, and plan approaches to develop relationships with, and income from, corporate and individual supporters.You’ll play a key role in creating and managing relationships within the engineering community, raising funds for, and awareness of, the vital support we provide for people when life becomes challenging.We find creative ways of working as a team and look to showcase the individual talents and personalities that people bring to their role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join our mental health charity, to support and deliver effective, efficient financial processes and compliance with financial regulations and data protection to ensure the smooth and effective running of the organisation. 

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Operations Manager and will involve managing financial transactions and reconciliation, maintaining accurate project records, supporting the production of management accounts, costing new work, budgeting and reporting as well as overseeing payroll.

You will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills and a passion for supporting mental health research.  Attention to detail, an administrative mind and a compassionate communicator are vital to this role as well as the ability to use your initiative and manage your own workload.  Every day will be different, with the opportunity for you to develop your skills and support our projects.

This post would ideally suit someone with excellent financial administration skills and project management experience.  The post holder will also need to have knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks accounting software

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Volunteer Development Officer in our North region to deliver on the volunteering strategy for the Woodland Trust and Northern England region, that connects to the Trust strategy whilst responds to regional need, adapts to the changing trends in volunteering, and maximises opportunities for volunteers to add value to our work.

The Role: 
•    The role will support compliance including record keeping, induction and training, as well as develop new opportunities based on regional priorities and deliver a range of communication and face to face activities to create a safe and positive volunteering experience.
•    You will run a range of activity to develop effective communication methods including writing articles, delivering events, supporting peer to peer support and shared learning so volunteers are engaged and feel valued.  
•    You are responsible for being the link between the National Volunteering Team and regional volunteer managers to ensure that managers feel supported and volunteers have a meaningful, safe and enjoyable experience. 
•    You will lead on regional recruitment of existing and new roles, in line with regional priorities to ensure volunteer roles are appropriate and support the needs of the Woodland Trust. 
•    This role is based in Northern England and will require the successful candidate to travel around the region.

The Candidate:

We are looking for candidates who have the following experience:
•    Working with volunteers and volunteer managers including recruitment, training and managing volunteers with positive outcomes.
•    Working across a range of teams at a regional level to support existing and develop new volunteering opportunities, ensuring the support of volunteering to undertake activities in a positive, fun and safe way. 
•    Developing new volunteering opportunities in line with regional and national strategies.
•    You’ll have a collaborative approach, with the ability to work with multiple teams, building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders effectively. 
•    You’ll know how to deliver effective events including promotion, risk assessments for indoor and outdoor environments.
•    Strong communication skills, both written and verbally being able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, especially volunteers using a variety of methods to suite the audience. 
•    This role does require regular travel around the North region. A full clean UK driving licence is required.
