Your role

This is a very special role to provide holistic health and wellbeing of those who visit our open drop-in at the Vineyard Community Centre in Richmond. To us, they are our guests, not 'clients', 'patients' or users'.

This will include personal health screening, and holistic health support; also to provide health education, and liaison with outside agencies and local surgery. Many of our guests have multiple and complex needs involving, mental health, drug/alcohol dependency and homelessness.

You’ll report to our Community Nursing Manager and work with our Case Worker and Caseworkers from the Glass Door charity, and external hosted partner organisations like SPEAR and C.A.B.

You will manage, develop and market Hospital Discharge and Health & Wellbeing Services in Bromley and Greenwich and work in partnership with other providers. You will be responsible for all Hospital Discharge services and work closely with the Hospital as well as  be an active member of the Senior Management team. 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· To have oversight of the monthly and quarterly reports for the services

· The work will include some on call responsibilities on evenings and weekends for the Hospital Discharge Services which an extra payment will be made.

· To work in partnership with other providers and health partners across both boroughs.

· To work within the Bromley Well partnership and maintain contact with BTSE

· To build a strong relationship with the hospitals and NHS staff

· To be responsible for health and wellbeing staff including undertaking supervision, guidance and support, allocation and monitoring of work plans, annual appraisals, identification of training needs and participation in the recruitment of staff.

· To work with the Chief Executive to devise and implement a marketing / publicity strategy to promote primary and secondary interventions and other services for older people.

· To work in partnership with older people, volunteers, statutory, voluntary and other agencies to initiate and deliver a programme of healthy living and recreational activities which meet the needs and aspirations of older people in Bromley and Greenwich identifying and developing new  initiatives and partners.

· To be responsible for ensuring that risk assessments are undertaken of premises, outreach venues, client’s homes and other measures for the provision of a safe environment ensuring that all legislative requirements are met.

· To ensure that evaluation and monitoring of service/project outcomes is implemented, enabling Age UK Bromley & Greenwich to demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of the service delivery.

· To establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, work colleagues, volunteers and partner organisations

· To work alongside the Chief Executive to undertake long-term strategic planning of primary and secondary care interventions and other health and wellbeing services.

· To work with older people and with other groups, organisations and agencies in the boroughs to identify potential areas for health, education and social activities that older people want to participate in, and identify funding sources to develop and deliver the new areas of work.

· To be creative and innovative in designing new opportunities and projects for people to get involved across the boroughs in the co-delivery of services.

My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a multi-award-winning self-advocacy charity uniquely run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998.  The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative user led projects that enhance and empower the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire.  These established projects include a fee earning training and consultancy Professional Services team, gig buddy, travel buddy scheme, a nightclub, campaigns and self-advocacy groups.

NRPF Partnership

The NRPF partnership was set up in 2023 and is being developed by Citizens UK, Migration Exchange, and Praxis. We are working to build the necessary infrastructure for collaboration across a range of organisations, amplify their work, and build power to win change against the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) condition. Each partner contributes staff capacity and will work closely with the appointed person to ensure a positive, professional and supportive culture. The Partnership centres around: 

1)  Placing decision-making power and strategic vision in the hands of people doing the work 

(frontline staff and people with lived experience), via a steering group and working groups.

2) Establishing a strategic pooled fund so that the steering group has sufficient budget to guide the collaboration, act, identify and seize political opportunities, and facilitate active participation of everyone involved.

3) Expanding the movement and building power, using incremental wins to build towards broader change towards the goal of ending NRPF.

The Person and the Role

100,000s people in our communities have put down roots in the UK but are denied access to the welfare safety net (No Recourse to Public Funds).

Citizens UK has worked with Migration Exchange and Praxis to raise over £2m to develop a 5 year partnership to enable the movement to end NRPF.

This Senior Project role will be a core part of the support to the steering group of the partnership to make sure it runs effectively and achieves its potential.

Working with the NRPF Partnership’s key stakeholders

• Developing and maintaining relationships with Partnership stakeholders 

• Working with the CBG to update outreach strategy as new needs emerge

• Building and maintaining trust and relationships across the whole Partnership and more widely (within and across sectors from migration to anti-poverty to children’s rights, etc.)

• Supporting with the facilitation of Working Group meetings

• Develop and implement ideas for action that are consistent with the goals of the project

Strategic coherence

Fundraising and reporting 

• Working with the CBG to develop and support fundraising bids and support reporting requirements and funder relationships

• Contributing to the budgeting process and the effective management of financial resources in the project working closely with Global Dialogue who will hold pooled funds on behalf of the partnership

Managing meeting/event logistics 

• Planning and managing the logistics of all Partnership meetings and gatherings of the Steering Group, working groups and CBG (e.g., dial-in, attendance, cancellations, etc.)

• Consolidating Working Group updates for Steering Group, including summarising meeting notes and highlighting key outputs and decisions so they can be easily shared with others across the Partnership

About the Role

The Homestead Park has been cherished by communities for 120 years since it was gifted to the people of York by social reformer Seebohm Rowntree (son of Joseph Rowntree) so that all individuals, regardless of class or income, could enjoy time in nature.

We will be developing a ten year plan to help to guide our work in Homestead Park and we’re creating two exciting new roles to support this work: the 'Community Engagement Lead' and the 'Head of Park' role. We’ll work alongside community groups and local people to steer the development of the Park and understand how it can serve communities today and for generations to come.

Position Summary/ Objective

A new role within our European region, the Paid Social Media Specialist will be working closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Lead (UK) to deliver world-class paid media campaigns on multiple digital platforms in multiple countries.

This role will work across IFAW’s four fundraising markets in Europe: France, Germany, Netherlands and the UK to grow our paid media revenue. The role will focus on Social and Search advertising but also to experiment with new emerging platforms.

Directly reporting to the Senior Digital Marking Lead in the UK this role will coordinate and plan new paid social campaigns and content, working closely with the Digital Leads, and the Senior Fundraising and Marketing Manager, to roll these out across our markets.  You will work across a variety of channels such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Reddit, Bing, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, Spotify and more.

Role and Responsibilities

Working with the Digital Marketing Lead in each country (France, Germany, Netherlands and UK), the role will:

· Coordinate, develop, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns from conception to launch and completion across EU fundraising markets.

· Building out media buys for various ad platforms and overseeing the day-to-day execution of paid media to support each market.

· Work closely with Digital Marketing Leads to agree on campaigns, budget allocation and spend, ad grouping and audience targeting.

· Support and contribute to the creative process of building advertising campaigns. Including video creation specifically for advertising.

· Conduct in-depth keyword and website research, and suggest landing pages optimization

· Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.

· Working cross-departmentally, specifically with the Content team.

· Identify and suggest new emerging platforms and avenues for digital outreach

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· 5 + years’ experience with digital paid media, specifically with Meta and Google advertising.

· Excellent understanding of creating and implementing paid media campaigns with prior campaign examples (across multiple countries/markets a plus). 

· Ideally completed advertising certifications (for example, Meta Certified Media Buying Professional, Google Analytics 

· Extensive experience in creating digital ad assets and copy, including video.  

· Video creation skills specifically for advertising, experience working with Adobe Creative Suite tools

· Fluency in working with analytics platforms, for example Looker Studio

· Goal driven, extremely analytical, with the ability to make data-based decisions and conclusions

· Excellent communication skills to present the results of campaign performance verbally, as well as provide clear and concise reports.

· Fluent English (spoken French, German or Dutch is a plus).

· Interest in IFAW’s programmatic work and global wildlife conservation issues

· Self-starter with ability to jump into a hectic situation to provide support

· Highly organized and self-motivated; able to manage and prioritize multiple projects, desire and capability to work in agile, fast-paced and demanding environment

We are opening our first Youth Hub in Middlesbrough this summer. It is our intention to deliver open access youth services with a particular focus around food education, employment and food aid, by creating a training kitchen and cafe.

What will you be doing?

Ahead of the KFC Youth Foundation Hub opening you will be feet on the ground in Middlesbrough during the development of the Youth Hub to opening, supporting with the recruitment of youth workers and hub employees, engaging and recruiting young people and co-designing opening programming and the opening of the hub.

Service Delivery & Partnership

• Responsible for the management and preparation(s) of programme delivery - play and youth work and early help provision onsite, that meets the needs of children, young people and families including through direct and partnership delivery with third sector providers.
• Develop and maintain the support needed for a varied 7-day programme of term-time and holiday youth provision (open access and targeted); inclusive of sports, arts, cultural and recreational activity that promotes the development of physical and emotional well-being
• You will have a local knowledge and be able to develop a meaningful dialogue with children, young people and families, with the purpose of assessing their needs and creating services to meet them.
• Establish an inclusive culture within the youth hub; where all are welcome and supported to participate, and where respect, honesty, and trust enables children and young people to thrive.
• Develop initiatives and partnerships to build strong links with the local community and support the growth of positive perceptions of children, young people and their families.
• Implementing methods for observable or measurable indicators of success.
• Organise regular outreach to facilitate the involvement of children, young people from across the ward and borough; targeting those who have had little contact with services and may be hard to engage.
• Work with other key agencies to manage risk.

Leadership

• Ensure all staff are aware of practice standards, expectations and timescales, and establishing a culture of responsibility and accountability building trust, good morale and teamwork.
• Manage service area delivery in a manner that promotes equality of opportunity and collaborative working; ensuring that all youth workers and hub employees are aware of the requirement to deliver non-discriminatory services and to promote greater equity for disadvantaged groups.

• Support the recruitment and induction of staff and carrying out regular supervision and annual performance appraisals for line reports.
• Take responsibility for staff timetables, rotas, and annual leave; arranging and authorising any necessary staff cover that may be required.
• Take authority for expenditure for events and activities within established KFCYF financial processes and accounting for all budget spending as required.
• Ensure that KFCYF policy and procedures for health and safety are adhered to and that all equipment is maintained, taking action as necessary to ensure compliance.
• Ensure risk assessments are carried out for the premises, activities and services and updated as and when necessary.
• Ensure regular health and safety audits are carried out and that any areas of non-compliance are quickly rectified.

Administration

• Oversee the keeping of accurate and up to date records of attendance data and other management information as required.
• Maintain records of interventions; keeping files current, well organised, and able to provide concise and accurate information for the Foundation on outcomes achieved.
• Prepare and present quarterly reports for the review of the Foundation Manager/ Trustees

Since its inception the KFC Youth Foundation has made donations and grants of more than £8m. In 2021 we became a community grant maker, offering grants of up to £2,500 to grass roots organisations working with young people in their communities.
