They are now seeking a dynamic Head of Transactional Finance to lead the evolution of finance operations and define the future of this function within a modern, collaborative finance team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of Transactional Finance as a pivotal leadership role that oversees payroll, accounts payable, and finance systems. It has a strong relationship to accounts receivable in an adjacent team. It’s a unique opportunity to lead a function through significant change.
You’ll be instrumental in driving automation, improving processes, and ensuring seamless integration between finance systems (UNIT4) and wider business platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment and is passionate about delivering operational excellence and strategic impact:
- Driving automation and process improvement across transactional finance
- Managing the successful deployment and optimisation of UNIT4 and its integration with wider business systems (notably Microsoft Dynamics)
- Enhancing financial compliance, policy, and controls
- Ensuring underlying data is clean and timely for reporting
- Supporting change management across finance and the broader organisation
The Person
We’re looking for a confident and forward-thinking finance professional who thrives in change-oriented environments and wants to put their stamp on a high-impact function. You'll play a critical role in bridging systems, processes, and people—bringing structure, clarity, and innovation to a function that underpins ABRSM’s financial strength and strategic direction.
You’ll bring:
- A recognised finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Demonstrated leadership in finance operations, including payroll and accounts payable
- A track record of managing or supporting finance system implementations and integrations (experience with UNIT4 is essential)
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- A mindset geared toward continuous improvement, digital transformation, and cross-functional collaboration
- The ability to shape and position transactional finance as a partner to teams such as financial accounting and FP&A
- This role is not for a pure systems accountant—but for someone who thinks systemically, understands how to embed finance within digital workflows, and can bring a modern, strategic lens to transactional processes.

About you
You are a highly skilled financial analyst with advanced Excel capabilities and experience using business intelligence tools. In this role, you will deliver advanced, data-driven insights that inform strategic and operational decisions across CARE International UK. You will design and maintain financial models, produce impactful reports and dashboards, and lead the automation of reporting processes to enhance efficiency. You will play a role as part of the team in annual budgeting and forecasting, cross-system reconciliations, and process improvements. Collaborating across fundraising, programmes, and support teams, you will act as a centre of expertise for analytics, supporting colleagues in best practice reporting and analysis. About the Role
You’ll join our cross-functional Product & Engineering team to build and improve the digital platforms that teachers and pupils rely on every day. Working closely with product managers, designers, researchers, and curriculum specialists you will develop user-facing applications using technologies like TypeScript and Next.js. About the role
This is a great chance to be a part of a service working alongside the Healthcare & Education Department within HMP Bronzefield to identify and support women who are identified as being neurodiverse or presenting with symptoms of neurodiversity and will be returning to the community. The Neurodiversity Lead will focus support on women with a neurodivergent need and improve their transition into the community, with ongoing community support; including collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop their support plans.
The Lead will work in a multi-disciplinary way, including attending the weekly complex case meeting and/or the Safety Intervention Meeting (SIM) as appropriate, they will act as a specialist member of the wider Advance Criminal Justice Service - London team, to facilitate a pathway for women with complex needs including mental health and neurodiversity needs. The Neurodiversity Lead will accept referrals from the Advance Criminal Justice Community team and prison services, and will create a link between prison and the community, helping women to navigate support services and to positively re-integrate into their community upon release. They will co-design a person-centred support and action plan with women accessing support, enabling to support them to address their needs and any risks. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women.
The Neurodiversity Lead will be based in the community and will provide a drop-in service (1-2 day per week) in HMP Bronzefield to support women who are close to release.
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential
About You
To be successful as the Neurodiversity Lead you will need the below experience and skills:
An excellent understanding of mental health, neurodiversity needs violence against women and girls and its links to women in the criminal justice system
You will have the ability to complete trauma informed, support and action plans in collaboration with the woman; to support in addressing their multiple and individual needs and enable them to engage with services, which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.
You will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work in a prison environment whilst remaining calm.

NAPAC is seeking Call and Email Handlers for our support services in Stockport
NAPAC provides the only free national support service for adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse. We offer specialist, confidential support to all adult survivors of any type of abuse, operated by experienced staff and trained volunteers.
NAPAC works closely with the criminal justice and public health sectors. We support survivors to navigate and understand their options with criminal and civil law, and in healing and recovery. Choice is key, and our website provides a lot of free information for survivors and those supporting them.
As a trusted public-health organisation, people use NAPAC’s services to support their overall health and wellbeing, to build and improve their resilience, and to be able to make brave, positive choices every day – including asking for help when they need it.
Those using our services ask for support with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, isolation, navigating relationships, dissociative identity disorder, reporting to the police, domestic and sexual violence, boundaries, and complex post-traumatic stress. About the Role
The Supported Lodgings service provides long term placements for 16 and 17 year old young people with care experience in the homes of vetted and trained Community Hosts. This service will provide structured support packages enabling young people to develop a range of skills as they move towards independent living.
The role is a busy and varied one. You will be responsible for ensuring all young people referred to the service, are assessed, supported and placed effectively with their hosts. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training and management of hosts, as well as promoting the service to key stakeholders, and supporting young people directly.

Objective:
2wish exists to provide support to anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under.
Aims:
- Ensure every Emergency Department and Critical Care unit has a suitable bereavement suite
- Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
- Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families
2wish Cymru and 2wish :
2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.
We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of the families, so they don't have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.
At the start of 2024 we expanded the geographical area where we deliver our service, and have recruited a brand new team to support service users in the border counties, which is now in its second phase.
Context of role:
2wish supports anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We are a largely self-funded charity providing support across Wales and England. Our support team works very closely with our fundraising team to increase income but also to raise awareness of the work of 2wish.
This is a unique opportunity for an individual to continue to raise awareness of the charity, as well as continuing its activities in Wales. It will involve helping to organise fundraising events, working with volunteers and encouraging community fundraising opportunities.
Main duties:
Service:
- To help raise awareness of 2wish and the work we do.
- To work alongside the support team and to build on the reputation of 2wish
- Research, approach and engage community groups and local supporters using mechanisms for engaging their support to develop additional sources of income
- To liaise with the public who are fundraising for 2wish
- To support the delivery of community and corporate events, and monitor the income raised
- To attend community, corporate and networking events where necessary
- To actively participate in and collaborate on financial planning as a business unit during regular fundraising meetings
- To submit an annual business plan and budgets for the fundraising team
- To submit monthly and annual reports to the Fundraising Manager as required and work to monthly targets
