About the role:

Our Health Team has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Health Lead to join us, working across our Lewisham hostels. This is a role where you’ll shape how health support is delivered day to day, making sure people experiencing homelessness can access the care they need and stay connected to it.

You’ll work directly with residents who are often facing complex and long-standing health needs, supporting them in a way that is consistent, person-centred and genuinely meaningful. From completing initial health screenings and building tailored support plans, to making referrals and encouraging engagement with services like dentistry, mental health and primary care, you’ll play a key role in helping people take steps towards better health and stability.

Alongside this, you’ll hold a caseload of clients requiring more intensive support, working with them to understand their health, manage conditions and attend appointments. You’ll build strong, trusting relationships that help people feel more confident engaging with services, while also working closely with colleagues and partners to create a more joined-up and accessible health offer. Grounded in a psychologically informed approach, this role is about more than access – it’s about helping people make lasting improvements to their health and wellbeing.

• You bring knowledge (or a strong willingness to learn) about common health needs and the barriers people experiencing homelessness face when accessing car
• You know how to build trust with clients who may feel wary of services, using approaches that genuinely engage and empowers
• You understand local health systems and can navigate them to connect clients with the right support at the right time
• You’re confident working both independently and as part of a team, with strong skills in support planning, record keeping and safeguarding
• You advocate confidently for clients and coordinate access to healthcare for people facing multiple disadvantage

Volunteering and Foster Caring Manager is a new role at Mayhew, reflective of the importance of volunteering and foster caring in our ability to deliver our onward strategy and direction. This is a highly visible and important role for Mayhew. The postholder will be working across all teams with staff and volunteers, supporters, partners and members of the public.

This role requires an effective leader and manager, with practical subject matter expertise in volunteering good practice, strong organisational skills, and a drive, rooted in passion for both animal welfare and volunteering, to enable Mayhew to reach many more dogs and cats and pet owners who need us by cultivating a thriving, engaged and diverse volunteer base.

Staff and volunteers at Mayhew, particularly in animal facing and public facing roles have duties that can be physically and emotionally demanding, sometimes interfacing with dogs and cats and pet owners who are in distress and facing heart-breaking situations. About the Role

The Head of Fundraising & Membership will be an experienced professional fundraiser responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive fundraising and membership strategy to grow and diversify sustainable income for the British Science Association across its portfolio of programmes.

A central part of the role will be leading development and delivery of the membership and fundraising strategy for EDIS (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Science and Health), a national membership coalition hosted by the British Science Association (BSA) delivered in partnership with the Francis Crick Institute and funded by the Wellcome Trust.

Working closely with the Director of Development & External Relations, Chief Executive and other colleagues across the organisation, the postholder will lead fundraising and business development activity, strengthen BSA supporter engagement, and EDIS organisational member engagement, and help shape resilient income models that support the BSA’s mission to ensure that all of society is included in science.

Key responsibilities

Develop and deliver the BSA’s fundraising strategy

• Develop the BSA’s fundraising strategy, working with key stakeholders, and create an accompanying implementation plan, KPIs and milestones.
• Monitor and report on the delivery of the fundraising strategy to the Senior Management Team and Board.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to support the delivery of the fundraising strategy.

Develop and grow membership of EDIS (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in Science and Health)

• Develop and deliver the EDIS membership strategy, including an implementation plan with clear KPIs and milestones
• Work closely with the Head of EDIS and wider EDIS team to develop a compelling and sustainable membership offer and pricing structure (from year 3 of the programme) for current and prospective organisational members .
• Develop and deliver a membership growth plan, and work closely with the EDIS team to oversee member communications, engagement campaigns and retention strategies.
• Work with the Head of EDIS and other colleagues to develop additional earned income streams that complement membership (such as sponsorship or paid-for training).

Lead, support and champion the Development team

• Foster a strong, collaborative team culture for the BSA Development team, reflecting the values of the BSA and of EDIS, and inspiring the team to develop and contribute to the fundraising strategy and the BSA’s and EDIS’ mission and vision.
• Work collaboratively with teams across the BSA, encouraging all teams to support the organisation’s fundraising and income generation activities, as appropriate.
• Deputise for the Director of Development & External Relations, when needed.

Lead on our fundraising activities and donor engagement

• Lead and provide oversight on high-quality applications and bids to corporates, trusts and foundations, statutory sources and other funders, working closely with Development team members and other colleagues.
• Lead the development of high-value strategic partnerships, including multi-year and/or multi-programme partnerships, aligning funder priorities with organisational impact.
• Lead on the BSA’s donor stewardship plans, ensuring timely and effective reporting to funders as well as a strong supporter experience.
• Ensure there is a comprehensive pipeline of funding bids with a clear prospecting plan for the BSA.
• Work closely with the Head of Education and wider team to develop and deliver fundraising approaches that complement earned income for the BSA’s flagship CREST Awards programme.
• Work closely with the Director of Development & External Relations, CEO, Trustees and other colleagues to help build strong relationships with prospective donors and high-profile stakeholders, by providing timely briefings for donor meetings to support senior level engagement.

Develop our processes and systems to allow for effective fundraising and membership

• Lead on our fundraising Customer Relationship Management (CRM), ensuring that fundraising and membership relationships are captured, updated and shared in a timely and consistent way across the organisation.
• Develop compelling cases for support and fundraising collateral, working closely with programmes, communications, policy and other teams across the BSA.
• Ensure that our fundraising complies with the highest fundraising standards, as set out by the Fundraising Regulator, Chartered Institute of Fundraising, Charity Commission of England & Wales, and other relevant bodies.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, including securing significant grants and/or contracts, managing a complex fundraising pipeline and stewarding funders during a partnership and experience in developing and implementing successful supporter/member engagement strategies.

Job Purpose  

Working in a team of three and reporting to the Foundation Director, you will support the effective and efficient grant making of the Goldsmiths' Foundation by managing its Proactive Grant Programmes and administering the Foundation's restricted funds. Proactive grants are closed to open application but are solicited for either regular or one-off grants. This role requires a strong understanding of vocational and technical skills in the jewellery-making, silversmithing and allied trade sector. 

Delivery of Proactive Grant Programmes 

• Support the Foundation Director and colleagues to implement and deliver Proactive Grants Programmes, aligned with the 2025-2030 Strategy. 

• Support the Foundation Director in implementing learning goals for the Programmes, collecting data and working with commissioned learning partners. 

• Manage relationships with charitable partners who regularly receive grants from the Foundation, particularly those working in the jewellery, silversmithing and allied trade sectors. 

• Manage one-off grants that are solicited by Foundation Trustees due to their strong alignment to Foundation Objects. 

• Support The Goldsmiths' Foundation Trustees and Advisory Group and administering its decisions. 

Management of Restricted Funds 

• Administer the Foundation's restricted funds including the Aiden Threlfall Charitable Trust, the Brian Wood Memorial Travel Scholarship, the Miller Fund/Binney Medal (including event administration of the annual Binney Lunch), the Martin Bowes Charitable Fund and The Silver Trust. 

• Manage grant applications and awards from these restricted funds in accordance with their specific terms and conditions. 

• Maintain accurate records and reporting on restricted fund activities. 

• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and legal obligations for each restricted fund. 

Management and Governance of Proactive Grant Programmes 

• Day-to-day management of regular grantees, ensuring effective communication and support. 

• Support the development of appropriate reporting and relationship requirements with regular grantees. 

• Prepare recommendations and reports for the Proactive Grant Programmes. 

• Manage and collate the reporting from charitable partners. 

• Prepare materials to support the Foundation Director in their work with The Goldsmiths' Foundation Trustees and Advisory Group with a goal to: i. commission the most relevant grants to meet the Foundations' Objects ii. drive greater Goldsmiths' Company Member engagement with The Goldsmiths' Foundation 

• Support the continued management of existing Proactive Programmes initiated before 2026. 

Communications and Networks 

• Support the Foundation Director to maintain a network of peer funders working in overlapping or related areas, particularly those focused on vocational and technical skills development.

• Contribute to collaborations (including with other funders) to increase the reach and impact of our proactive grant making.

• Support the development of content for web-based stories and social media posts. 

Community Engagement 

• Work with colleagues to identify opportunities for grant recipients to contribute to broader programmes and the promotion of charitable activities.

• Support the identification and development of initiatives that enable the Foundation to deliver against its charitable purpose, particularly those supporting vocational and technical skills in the jewellery-making, silversmithing and allied trade sector. 

• Contribute to developing opportunities related to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, focusing on access routes into the trade and craft. 

Other Duties 

• Work with colleagues within The Goldsmiths' Group as required to enable our mutual aims. 

• Work with the Foundation Director and colleagues to develop The Foundation's culture in line with its values.

Overview

The Regional Project Co-Ordinator will support the planning, coordination and delivery of programmes and initiatives designed to support individuals who have spent part of their childhood in the care system.

Working closely with colleagues, delivery partners and stakeholders, the Project Co-Ordinator will help ensure programme activity runs smoothly and reaches those who may benefit most. The role combines organisational project coordination with hands on delivery, including supporting workshops, events and engagement activity with partners and care experienced people.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

• Oversee the day to day coordination of programmes and initiatives.

3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Adhere to agreed project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, risk logs, and other relevant documents.
• Monitor and report on project budgets, identifying any potential overruns or issues.
• Collect and analyse data/feedback on programme outcomes and evaluate the success of projects upon completion, ensuring outcomes align with the charity’s mission and strategic goals.
• Prepare and present reports on the effectiveness and impact of the programmes/initiatives to commissioners/stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation of funding applications, reports, and other documentation for funders.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance project delivery in the future.

4. Budget Monitoring and Reporting

• Liaise with the finance team who will prepare regular financial reports for commissioners.
• Identify and address any financial risks or discrepancies and raise them with the finance team.

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of service delivery.

6. Additional Duties

The Project Manager plays a vital role in delivering exceptional Project Management for the major new Salesforce implementation of Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud. This project will improve our Supporter experiences particularly in terms of email journeys. This role takes responsibility of the planning, execution and management of the Salesforce implementation of Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud project.

This strategic project is key to implementing the 10-year organisational strategy, ARUK: Towards a Cure. The post holder will manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution through to embedding the new platform, ensuring the project is delivered on time, to scope, and to a high standard.

The post holder is part of a small team at ARUK and from time to time may need to support other colleagues to ensure smooth critical service delivery to the organisation.

This is an 18-month FTC.

 Key Responsibilities:

Project Management – Salesforce Marketing Cloud

· Develop a flexible project plan for the Marketing Cloud project that is adaptable to unexpected changes; manage these changes effectively through appropriate stakeholder management and risk planning.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with project team members, internal stakeholders, and third parties, to foster collaboration and drive the successful delivery of the salesforce marketing cloud project.  Manage the relationship with the external implementation partner.

· Drive and monitor project progress against timelines using appropriate project management tools (e.g. Excel, Smartsheet, MS Projects or similar), and ensure stakeholders are updated at key checkpoints; ensure roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and understood from the start.

· Lead and participate in all required project meetings including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

· Apply sound judgement and problem-solving expertise to manage project risks, decisions, and dependencies within the wider organisational context; demonstrate accountability by escalating project risks via appropriate and agreed channels.

· Support the Project Sponsor, Product Owner and Programme Manager with effective decision-making, budget management, and management of dependencies with other digital or organisational workstreams.

· Responsible for assessing and managing the project risk throughout the life of the project

· Manage all project governance and documentation, ensure meetings, actions and decisions are managed and documented appropriately.

· At the end of the project, conduct project closure and review sessions to capture successes and learnings and help ensure project outcomes and the new platform are effectively embedded into business-as-usual (BAU).

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

· Lead on the development of a stakeholder management plan for the Project Sponsor and Product Owner ensuring it is tailored and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

· Liaising with the L&D team and internal communications team to ensure suitable change management and communication plans are in place

· Liaise on a regular basis with ARUK’s central Projects & Programmes team, ensuring project plans and approach align with ARUK’s project management approach.

· Work with the Senior DDT Programme Manager to ensure plans and reporting are set up and delivered in line with the wider DDT programme requirements. Build strong professional relationships, trust, and inspire confidence with stakeholders at all levels.

Project Management Best Practice

· Adopt and apply appropriate project management methodologies to suit the nature of the project.

· Contribute to the facilitation of project management best practise within DDT Teams

The Restart programme offers enhanced support to Universal Credit claimants who have been out of work for at least 6 months to find jobs in their local area. Starting at the end of June 2021, it will benefit more than 1 million Universal Credit claimants who are expected to look for and be available for work but have no sustained learnings. The scheme will provide up to 12 months of tailored support for each participant. The Employment Advisor will play a vital role in the success of the programme. They will be in charge of managing a case load of customers, working with them to create and follow an individualised workplan towards sustained employment. The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a broad range of high‑level Executive Office support activities, including:
