HE Partnerships at Unifrog
After successfully launching the HE Partnerships arm of Unifrog in 2020, we now support 175+ global universities with raising brand awareness, inspiring the next generation, and developing a talented and diverse pipeline of prospective applicants. We also connect universities with teachers, advisors, and international school counselors through the Unifrog online community and in-person events.
What you’ll do
As HE Partnerships Manager, your role is to grow our university partner numbers and support our existing university partners to get the most out of their partnership with us. A fundamental element of our work with universities is to make sure they’re adding genuine value to our student and teacher community. Your key responsibilities will include:

Make sales to universities in the UK and around the world
You’ll set up and conduct meetings with university staff in which you’ll listen to their needs, communicate our mission to them, demonstrate our offering, and seek to secure the university’s ongoing subscription.

Maintain excellent relationships with existing partner universities, and secure their resubscriptions
You’ll onboard new partners, conduct regular check-in calls, and consultatively support our partner universities to make the most of their partnership with us in line with their goals. It’s crucial that you maintain a sky-high resubscription rate.

Deliver our existing services for partner universities
Our HE offering is new and fast evolving. You’ll be involved in delivering every part of it, including:

Insights dashboard

Our Insights dashboard and reports use aggregated data from the Unifrog platform to uncover trends at subject and regional levels, and are designed to inform universities’ marketing, recruitment and portfolio planning. You’ll consult with partner universities to help them get the most out of their Insights dashboard, present reports to them, and identify potential upsell opportunities.

Student fairs, college counselor networking events, and teacher conferences

These events are a great way for our partner universities to interact with our community of students and teachers. We want our events to be useful and enjoyable for all parties. You’ll make sure your partners get involved in the events that best meet their recruitment and outreach objectives, as well as leveraging their best academics and student ambassadors to present to Unifrog students.

Identify upsell opportunities that will help our partners to achieve their goals
You’ll seek to build relationships across different university departments, such as Marketing, International recruitment or Widening Participation, to increase our scope of work with each HE partner. Central to this will be showcasing the extra support we offer in addition to the annual subscription.

We are just getting started with how we support universities to add value for the students and teachers using the Unifrog platform, and how we support universities to receive value as well. We want you to play your part in coming up with new services we can deliver: at Unifrog we innovate quickly, and it’s everyone’s job to be creative.

Global Generation is looking for a Youth Programmes and Outreach Coordinator who is passionate about engaging young people and local communities in reaching their full potential and creating positive social and environmental change. In this role, you will co-lead on the outreach and engagement of local communities, especially with a focus on involving and recruiting young people, as well as planning and facilitation of land-based, cooking and creative workshops. You will particularly focus on working with communities in Islington as we increase our engagement initiatives towards the co-build of our permanent community garden in King’s Cross (which sits on the Islington side), due to start this summer.

We operate in the boroughs of Camden, Islington and Southwark and work with people of all ages, particularly children and young people. Working from educational and biodiverse garden spaces such as the Story Garden and Floating Garden in King’s Cross (with a permanent community garden to be built over the next 2 years in KX) and the Paper Garden in Canada Water, we combine activities such as urban food growing, carpentry, making, cooking, and healthy eating with dialogue, storytelling, creative writing, performance and art, silence and stillness. These practices help us to create the conditions for people to come together in a fuller and more connected sense of who they are and what they are a part of and, from that space, to practically and creatively contribute to ecological and social change.
Young people have always been and continue to be at the heart of our work. We aim to support them to develop and lead, offering progression opportunities to move from being participants to being action researchers, co-facilitators and ambassadors, to being paid fellows, staff and trustees.
This role is primarily based at the Story Garden and Floating Garden in King’s Cross (and eventually on the new garden we will be building) and working with our Islington community. You will work closely with the education & community programmes team, gardeners, chefs, volunteers and young people, running hands-on and reflective sessions for people of all ages.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The two main areas of the role are:
1. Outreach, engagement and recruitment

Lead on the recruitment and engagement of young people throughout the year, primarily through schools, colleges, community groups, local referral agencies, and local network meetings and events

Develop a diverse range of engaging outreach / recruitment materials, including social media content for the purposes of showcasing our work and inspiring other young people to join

Create and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of audiences, including young people, parents, local community groups and businesses

Inspire young people to participate via assemblies, talks, outreach workshops and follow up phone calls

Assist young people and their parents through the sign-up process from initial expression of interest to joining our programmes, through being in regular contact in the ways that work best for young people

Retention of young people through active engagement in person and phone calls and/or texts prior to each session

Attend local forums, actively participate in networks of local organisations, and build relationships with organisations and local people to engage them in the co-build of the new permanent garden
2. Programme Planning, Coordination and Facilitation

Inspire and support young people to lead on their own socially and environmentally impactful projects in the local area

Work alongside the wider Global Generation teams (kitchen, garden, natural build) and in partnership with other local organisations and businesses to enhance the opportunities available to young people

Document and evaluate the youth programmes you are working on using creative means through a wide range of approaches, incorporating quantitative and qualitative data

Report to funders in a range of formats depending on what is needed

The programmes you will coordinate and co-facilitate are:

Friday Night Out: Fortnightly after-school cooking programme (4:00-6:30pm), engaging children (8-12 year olds) in discovering the joys of seed to plate, seasonal and sustainable food, growing, harvesting and cooking their own produce. You will work alongside one of our chefs so do not need to be a chef, though an interest in sustainable food and gardening experience is desirable

Generator programme: Regular after-school workshops and experiences for young people aged 13+, incorporating a range of approaches and hands-on and reflective activities to support the holistic development of young people and encourage them to take social and environmental action in their communities

Partnership with Heatherwick Studio as part of a collaborative Young Inspirers programme, linking local school children with opportunities in their studio
You will also work with the Youth & Community Team to plan and deliver community / intergenerational events and experiences that bring people of different ages together.
What we are looking for
As the Youth Programmes and Outreach Coordinator, you will be outgoing and love working and reaching out to people across backgrounds and sectors; you will be ready to take initiative, have a flexible attitude, be able to think on your feet and enjoy finding solutions when faced with challenges and change. You will be able to communicate your passion for Global Generation’s work, the natural environment and social justice to others, particularly young people, in a creative and engaging way, responding to where people are at, and adapting your approach based on this. You will have prior experience of working with schools and finding ways to make the offer relevant to the priorities and needs of young people.
You will readily pick up the phone, follow up on emails sent, visit other organisations and schools, and offer activities in spaces where people are at. You will love to work deeply with young people over a long period of time, finding out what engages them, building on their interests and finding ways wherever possible for them to grow, progress and lead within Global Generation and beyond.
You will have experience of actively seeking out partnerships to make our offer even more compelling, beneficial and holistic for the young people. You will have strong project management and coordination skills, as well as planning and facilitating year long programmes, building in different ways of knowing and creative approaches so as to reach a cross-section of young people, adapting to different abilities and needs.
Ideally you will have experience and a love of urban gardening and/or food growing and engaging people in getting their hands in the soil. You will also have an interest in action research and/or participatory approaches to learning, acting and reflecting.

Pratham is one of the largest and most respected education charities in India. We developed a model that can teach a child to read and do basic maths in as little as 30 days for £14. We also have preschool, vocational and women's education programmes.

While you will work in a small, fully remote team day to day, you will be part of the global Pratham network. The team in India has over 6,000 staff, and they raise $28m locally. Pratham USA has 14 chapters and produces around 12 galas a year, which contributes to its $30m income; you can share the films and branding of their galas, meaning we can really stretch our budget to put on an outstanding event.
We are a small team, and whilst an events person is vital for our development if someone wanted to get involved in other fundraising streams, particularly corporate or major donors, we would be delighted to read about it in your application and discuss it at the interview or in a call before the interview—which are welcomed.
All current staff have visited India to see the programmes, and whilst we can't guarantee you a visit as we grow, it remains an ambition. About the Role
- Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high quality self-contained accommodation for 15 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantages.
- The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.
- You will be responsible for providing support to all the residents as needed during the evening and night, including running co-designed activities, and responding appropriately to requests and incidents.
- The successful applicant must be able to model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, be skilled at building trust and be a great team player. You must be confident working as the sole support worker on site and have good judgement in managing incidents.
- This is a waking night support role, undertaking 12 hour shifts alongside concierge, 8pm to 8am every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Please be aware that the building has several floors and no lifts.

The Minerva London service provides holistic, trauma-informed support for women in touch with the Criminal Justice System. We do this through offering dedicated one to one support, safer women’s centre spaces and specialist interventions and partnerships.

You will be working in a supportive, friendly, and welcoming team whilst having oversight of a caseload of women, who may be under the supervision of the National Probation Service or in custody, enhancing the offer of holistic support and advocacy services available to them throughout their journey.
Building relationships with other statutory and non-statutory agencies in local communities is vital to build referral pathways and provide a whole system approach to supporting individuals.
To carry out this work you will meet women in the community in your designated borough and co-locate with other agencies including the National Probation Service, as well as regularly attending Advance’s North London vibrant Women’s Centre/office space.
You will be a creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder and has good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions.

We have an exciting opportunity here at Barnardo's for experienced, enthusiastic and assertive Family Support Workers to join a brand-new team who will deliver the In Reach Hospital Emergency Department Family Support Programme.
The role is full time , 37 hours per week, permanent fixed term funded until March 2025 and will be based at the Lincoln County Hospital, Greetwell Road, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN2 5QY
Successful candidates will work in partnership with the clinical team to facilitate discharge of children aged 0-12 years from the Emergency Department where the clinical presentation is not acute and can be managed at home by local services.
“This role requires workers to have experience of holistic ways of working with families and young people. Including assessment, support, signposting and making referrals to appropriate services where needed. The successful applicant will be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative and manage the pressures of working in both a busy emergency department and the community”
Some but not all of the key responsibilities are:
- Initial face-to face conversation or triage call to identify presenting issues and the level of intervention required.
- Delivering support flexibly and tailored to the needs of the family unit including telephone, virtual and face-to-face support and home visits where necessary. Contact with families could be a one-off or over weekly sessions based on level of need targeted.

The In Reach Hospital Emergency Department Family Support Programme model offers a robust way of supporting often vulnerable families to uncover and address unmet need. Through identifying the underlying factors causing the clinical presentation and attendance, and addressing holistic needs of the family unit, we hope activity to unscheduled, primary and emergency care is dramatically and sustainably reduced.
The model is based on Family Support Workers based within Children's Emergency Departments, offering holistic, family-oriented support in a flexible manner either in-person, telephone- based and home visits to be able to address the underlying causes of repeated / avoidable ED attendances.
*Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently to March 2025 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement.
** Please note the hours for this role will be required over a 5-day week and may be done in longer day shifts or with set times i.e. 8am to 4pm (to suit Emergency Department and community/family needs). - Seek out, develop, and sustain networks, stakeholders and partnerships at local, regional and global levels, and explore new ways for the charity to grow and develop at the cutting edge of global ideas
- Identify opportunities to develop The Africa Centre events across the UK and digitally, to reach wider audiences and deepen brand recognition across the year.
- Identify project funding to develop audiences, increase diversity and meet equalities objectives.
- Oversee learning and engagement programmes in the UK.
- Deliver and build upon current UK funded projects and contribute to developing funding bids.
- Oversee the management of TAC’s marketing and communications functions, including our public relations, website and social media accounts, ensuring that they are updated, relevant and archived appropriately.
Impact
- Lead on development and delivery of the organisation’s strategic Monitoring, Evaluation and Impact framework and associated plans and systems
- Develop and delivering TAC’s social purpose agenda, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
- Oversee the development and management of TAC’s archives, be it digital, documental or physical, ensuring that they are catalogued, accessible and available for utilisation as a key resource.
Operational
- Line manage the programme, education and engagement team(s), recruiting, as necessary, skilled persons to deliver TAC programmes.
- Manage the delivery of contracts and partnership collaborative efforts, ensuring that contracting is delivered to the highest standards at all times to protect the reputation and financial standing of the charity and to meet contractor’s expectations.
- Identify potential funders relevant to area and contribute to writing business plans demonstrating a seamless relationship between content, programmes, events, audiences, and the core business activities
- Support the work of the Director of Development Team in developing and delivering the fundraising strategy and the Director of Finance & Operations on delivering TAC financial plans
Governance & Compliance
- Write reports for the board as and when required by the CEO in a timely and appropriate manner
- Work with the Director of Finance & Ops to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the charity in delegated budget area(s), adhere to TAC Financial Regulations and Procurement Policy.
- Ensure that all artist contracting is undertaken within TAC procurements and contracting policies observing all other required policies and statutory guidelines e.g., Equalities, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Intellectual Property, GDPR, Finance and Procurements etc.
- Maintain accurate records on The Africa Centre’s document management system and databases.
- Respond to general enquiries by email or telephone, manage own workload and maintain an online diary, using agreed TAC systems.
- To promote and comply with current legislation including The Africa Centre policies on Equality and Diversity and Health & Safety, Safeguarding, in the delivery of services and the
- Uphold the TAC brand and reputation
Leadership
- Be a vital, collegiate member of the TAC Senior leadership team,
- Develop and nurture relationships with the TAC Board, managing relevant committees and reporting to the Board and sub-committees as required.
- Represent the organisation at appropriate internal and external events and meetings, locally, regionally and globally.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- A clearly-evidenced long-standing passion for Africa and people of African Descent
- 3 - 5 years working at a senior level in a similar role
- Excellent Programme Management experience with excellent budget management skills
- Excellent communication and networking skills, adept at effectively engaging people across a range of settings – from school children to Prime Ministers and Presidents;
- Educated to degree level of equivalent (relevant subject area)
- Team player, able to work cross disciplinary with artists, experts, academics, key stakeholders, and audiences in a programming function working with diverse audiences
- Specialist knowledge of audience development gained through 3 years’ experience
- Agile approach to work, recognising the limitations and challenges of running a small charitable organisation and willingness to work flexibly to get things done, apply effort and integrity at all times. Regular weekend and evening work will be required.
- Experience of working with an operations team to deliver events (production, tech requirements, artist management)
- Experience of delivering to funder obligations (Trusts and Foundations/Public and Private Funding) • Excellent network in publishing; cultural and creative sector; or other relevant sectors
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, et al.
Desirable
- Understanding and experience of digital content production
- Masters level qualification or equivalent
- Awareness of how to use emerging technologies including AI to develop impactful programming and engagement.
- Experience of working within a grant management organisation.

Work Arrangements
Location: The Africa Centre office, London. Occasional remote working is encouraged. The post-holder will be required to be on location in London for relevant activities. Some international travel will be required.

Engagement
- Acting as the digital community lead for engagement of our online communities on social media and the Live Well Hub, including guiding team members to follow best practice.

- Engaging and participating in online community groups and discussions beyond our channels.
Brand communication
- Ensuring all activity aligns with brand priorities.
- Championing on-brand messaging. Acting as a trusted expert on brand tone of voice.

- Sharing best practice with the wider organisation and continuing professional development.
Creative skills
