Director of Service Transformation

As our Director of Service Transformation, you will lead the exciting next phase of transforming our charity’s services to reach more disabled children, young people and their families. You will be responsible for sourcing and delivering contracts and partnerships essential for the charity’s sustainability by advancing our digital outreach and nurturing new partnerships and securing sustainable funds for innovative models of support.
What you will be doing as the Director of Service Transformation:
- Lead and execute services strategies and plans that extend and transform the impact and financial sustainability of the charity’s services and support for disabled children, young people and their families.
- Lead the design, development and sales of innovative new service models and the scaling of existing services.
- Work closely with the other executive directors and leadership team to achieve the generation of an annual financial surplus to reinvest in Kids.
- Ensure the quality and safe delivery of all Kids’ services.
- Ensure effective budget management underpins service development and delivery. Ensure contracts and tenders are commercially negotiated and regularly monitored. Work with colleagues to identify and achieve necessary margins on contracts and projects for financial sustainability.
- Inspire and lead a high performing services team; support colleagues to test, learn and adapt as the charity evolves and transforms its digital and in-person support offer.
- Be an inspiring, visible and collegiate leader and team player who works across team boundaries to help drive organisational change and nurture colleagues’ ability to perform at their best.
- Model and lead effective communications with all colleagues that bring to life the charity’s values and behaviours. Support colleagues to ensure Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles and practice are evidenced in service design and delivery.
- Act as an ambassador for Kids on key platforms, carrying out media work as required; promote the charity’s products, services and work; and draw from services expertise to influence public policy and legislation relevant to disabled children and their families.
Essential Criteria – Demonstrated history of leadership in service provision, service evolution, or change management; adeptness in fostering relationships and/or experience in business development/sales.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Responsible for:
- Financial oversight and leadership.

I'm excited to be working with Drinkaware to find them a temporary Digital Marketing Manager. This is purely a technical role, with a focus on SEO, PPC marketing, Grants Pro and Google Analytics 4. You must be a GA4 expert, it is essential for this temporary cover. You will have solid digital marketing delivery skills and work collaboratively with the digital and marketing teams to increase website traffic and drive Drinking Check completions. The Role
This is a permanent role, based in London, requiring a minimum of two days a week in the office. It comes with a salary of £38,000 p/a (inclusive of London weighting). This role involves managing the Individual Giving (IG) and Legacy income pipelines, overseeing expenditure required to raise income, and providing monthly monitoring while using data analysis to evaluate fundraising results. Head of Finance and People - 3 days a week role - National
Are you a talented experienced Head of Finance and People keen to join a growing organisation that makes a big impact on the lives of people in need of advice. This is a newly created role, fully remote where you are required to come to London four time a year. Working very closely with a forward-thinking CEO and being part of a newly established Senior Leadership Team (SLT), as the Head of Finance and People, you will be leading a team of Finance and HR professionals to ensure Advice UK's business plan and strategic priorities are achieved.
Salary: £64,000 - £68,000 per annum pro ratad to three days a week plus Regional Weighting (upto £4,454 in London)
Contract: Part time - 21 hours per week (0.6 FT), Permanent

Some of your key duties and responsibilities are;
- To ensure the continued development of our financial strategy supporting the achievement of Advice UK strategic objectives and rolling three-year business plan. As part of this lead the annual planning and budget process
- Be accountable for AdviceUK's finance, HR and compliance work, making key decisions that impact their direction and performance. Wherever possible, use data and evidence to inform your decision-making
- Oversee the preparation, analysis and distribution of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with UK accounting standards, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and financial forecasts
- Support SLT to contribute to the development of AdviceUK's financial planning, supporting them to take an organisation-wide view on where best to invest to support the achievement of strategic objectives
- Lead AdviceUK's compliance management, by working with staff leading specific compliance areas to ensure the charity meets all UK legal and regulatory requirement and undertakes all required, filing and reporting. As part of this work closely with the Data Protection Officer to ensure data protection and cyber security requirements are met and with the HR function to ensure health and safety requirements are met.
- Lead the SLT and key suppliers in developing a business continuity plan that ensures AdviceUK can continue to deliver its strategic objectives and support its members in times of business interruption. Once established ensure it is regularly reviewed and tested.
- Ensure the development and implementation of financial and people management policies and processes that support AdviceUK's work and culture

- A recognised CCAB qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
- Very strong experience in Charity SORP
- Financial management of charities with commercial subsidiaries and consolidated accounts
- Strategic leadership of teams and working with CEO, Board and as part of a senior leadership team
- Experience of implementing financial controls, policies and procedures to ensure excellent service delivery
- Experience in financial planning and reporting.
- Experience of preparing financial business plans, modelling scenarios and carrying out sensitivity analysis and stress tests

MedEquip4Kids is a Manchester based national charity that improves the health of babies and children across the UK by providing hospitals with equipment not available from limited NHS resources. Tommy's are a mid-sized charity and lead the way in their field. Established in 1992, their mission is to work towards making the UK the safest place in the world to give birth. As the person flying the Data flag in the world of Tommy's, you will take accountability for maintaining, upgrading, and developing their fundraising database so that they can improve their donors' experience and communicate effectively with them. You will lead a team of two Database Officers and coach them to becoming a highly effective team.
As part of the role, you will develop strong relationships within the Fundraising team, helping to understand their needs. You will also develop and establish organisational ways of working with the database, including leading on training staff and developing a user manual to highlight good practice. Working alongside the existing Community Fundraiser in London, this role will engage with the Dioceses in Westminster, Brentford & East Anglia to establish and strengthen links to individual bishops and diocesan communications staff. This post reports to the Head of Community Outreach in support of objectives set out in the organisation's overall 10-year plan. Work will be carried out across parishes, schools and our broader benefactor base in the area to which the post holder is appointed.

- Ideally, with professional experience in Community Fundraising, but experience in other fundraising areas will be considered.
- Confident communicator and public speaker.
- Excellent communication skills and manner at all levels both over the telephone and in person.

- Excellent eye for detail and proofing skills.
