About this job

You’ll lead the end-to-end planning, governance and delivery of our cross-organisational engagement roadmap.

Working with product, project, production and technical specialists, you’ll make sure our work is strategic, insight-led and outcome-focused.

You’ll oversee communication, resourcing and delivery across a complex mix of projects, products and campaigns. Everything you do will align to our goals and capacity.

You’ll embed high standards of process, performance, accessibility and security, and drive continuous improvement in how we work.

As a cross-organisational leader, you’ll guide senior colleagues through planning and prioritisation to help us deliver impact at scale.

Please note this is a fixed term contract for 18 months.

UK People Support Team Lead

Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 35 hours per week

Salary:£57,415 - £60,436 per annum with excellent benefits

UK hybrid working – at least 40 % of working time is spent face-to-face (London office, external meetings or travel).

About the role

A key leadership position in the UK, responsible for leading a dynamic and talented team who delivers the highest standards of operational support to WaterAiders in country. The role will need to plan, prioritise, and deliver to a high standard what we promise in order to deliver our ambitious mission.

Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of UK payroll, pension, and the annual reward process. You will support and coach your team for the development, review and application of UK policies and procedures and be a key stakeholder to our people system Administrator.

You will be working in a matrix environment across the UK People Team and the wider People and Organisational Development function.

In this role, you will:

Team Leadership

• Manage, coach and build the capabilities of the People Support Team, their performance and development in line with our values and people promise.
• Expertise and ownership of UK People Team policies, processes and procedures, ensuring that they meet legislative requirements, are fit for purpose and in line with best practice and organisational priorities under the umbrella of our employee value proposition.
• Lead the delivery of the programme of work so that service standards at met, solutions are pragmatic and driven by our values, minimising risk.

Payroll, Pension and Reward

• Accountable for the delivery of the UK monthly payroll and pension processes, providing oversight and support to the work of the in-house Payroll Officer and being a back-up to their role, to ensure payroll is run accurately each month.
• Implement the annual pay award operationally ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of payment to all UK based staff.
• Implementation of a new payroll system for the UK.

Systems and Reporting

• Primary super user in the UK of HR Information System, PeoplePlace, ensuring effective and efficient use of the system. Responsible that the country's employee data is correct and in compliance with data protection.
• Drive the importance of data and people analytics and create a culture of data-based decision-making and insight across the team.
• Ownership of maintaining the monthly UK headcount establishment data with key stakeholders in Finance.
• Annual analysis and statutory reporting of the Pay Gap in the UK.

Compliance and Contract Management

• Act as the UK Team specialist on areas of HR compliance, working with 3rd parties and specialist advisors, to ensure that our policies, processes and practices are compliant and meet legal requirements.
• Responsible for data protection in the People Team, provide senior expertise and build capability across the wider people function.

Other

• Ownership of salary calculations in the event of employee termination and/or redundancy.
• Monthly payroll and pension sign off.
• Budget management and invoice approval.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

Functional skills

• Proven experience in leading, managing and developing a high-performing people operations team in a matrix, fast-paced organisation.
• Proven experience in managing and running in-house payroll for at least 250 staff or more.
• Excellent understanding of HR policy development; and proven experience in developing and embedding HR policies, processes and procedures that are fit for purpose.
• A qualified and robust HR Practitioner who has sound and up-to-date knowledge of employment law, tax and legislative requirements affecting a wide spectrum of HR policies and practice, i.e. payroll, pension, reward and benefits, together with their application in the context of the employee experience.
• Working knowledge and experience of HR and Payroll systems, to maximise the functionality and create efficiencies.
• Demonstrate project management capability.
• Proven experience in contract management and managing a wide range of third-party service providers.

Personal qualities

• A self-starter who is focused on delivery and execution: proactive in bringing solutions and recommendations to resolve problems and continuously improve HR practices.
• Able to navigate uncertainty and ambiguity: comfortable working at pace. Resilient and able to work under pressure.

Desirable capabilities

• Degree-level education or equivalent.
• Associate (or higher) membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or equivalent work experience.
• An interest in and/or knowledge of development issues and the work of INGOs.

About the role 

We are seeking a visionary Head of Clinical Services with a deep passion for survivor-centred healing to lead the strategic development and implementation of our therapeutic services. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and culturally responsive services that centre the needs of women and girls surviving violence against women and girls (VAWG). 

Working from an intersectional, trauma-informed, and Black feminist framework, you will play a vital role in upholding WGN’s commitment to holistic healing. Your leadership will promote our vision, values, and ethos across the organisation and with our partners, fostering an environment rooted in empowerment, inclusion, and transformation. 

About you

You will be an experienced clinical professional (BACP/UKCP accredited) and qualified supervisor with a proven track record in service delivery and team leadership. With a strong understanding of trauma, VAWG, and culturally responsive practice, you’ll be a feminist leader dedicated to anti-oppressive, inclusive approaches and the empowerment of survivors.

Impact & Communications: You will lead YCF’s impactful communications and reporting. Responsibility areas will include:

• Overseeing YCF’s collection and effective use of our CRM and data, including about members
• Developing and writing effective and impactful reporting and storytelling of YCF’s work

• Overseeing YCF’s online presence, including social media and our website

Youth engagement: Finally, you will oversee YCF’s youth engagement, via the following areas:

• Overseeing the delivery of our Young Ambassadors programme, in coordination with a leading youth social action provider, in line with best practice
• Facilitate and develop impactful opportunities for young Camdeners to have a say in decisions that impact them

You will also be a key leader at YCF and a core member of the SMT, managing two part-time staff members. With the main objectives of reducing re-offending and helping to protect the public, the RISE practitioner will deliver a range of interventions (individual and group), that RISE may design, commission or be commissioned to deliver in the future, both in the community and in custody.

The main purpose of this role is to support and assist Facilitators, Advanced Practitioner,  Responsible Officers and Service managers  in the administration of the Domestic Abuse contracts delivery by co-ordinating project resources such as people and equipment. The post holder will also be responsible for maintaining information systems linked to specific DA contracts.
 

Key duties and accountabilities

• To undertake a range of administrative duties, including log on cases, tracking and issuing documents to clients.
• Be adept in managing a new client based system.
• Working closely with practitioners to facilitate and schedule service users onto courses or appointments or chasing information.
• Drafting documentation where appropriate under direction from the Service Manager.
• Communicate with referrers, specifically social workers, mental health provoiders.
• Maintaining excellent filing and records of case files to ensure effective recording on attendance and completion of courses.
• Ensure the team has excellent administrative support across all projects.
• Help manage communications both within the project team and between the project teams and project delivery partners.
• To ensure that all contractual information is recorded, updated and accessible.
• Work with  Team leader and Service Manager and practitioners to support the scheduling of and take the initiative/decisions of assigning service users to relevant groups/1-2-1 sessions based on outcome of assessment.
• Keep any relevant records for audit compliance.
• Collate information and complete the monthly/quarterly KPI data reports required by commissioning partner as stated within each individual contract.
•  Provide excellent customer service and be the first point of contact for telephone communication for our commissioning partners, service users and families and transfer enquiry to appropriate staff member if unable to resolve query themselves.

Job Purpose:Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Family Centre provision to support families with children and young people aged 0-19 years (up to 25 years with disabilities and additional needs) that are identified as the most need of support or have emerging needs.

Main purpose of post
This role is to lead and be responsible for the development, management and
delivery of WPCC’s high quality, professional counselling and complementary
therapy services for adults, and for children and young people, at the Cavendish
Centre and in outreach locations. This role supports the holistic well-being of

including outreach services, and to maintain the ethos and high

1,000 beneficiaries per annum, including outreach provision in hospitals.
 To be responsible for the management of a complementary therapy and
counselling services budget of around £500,000 per annum.

the availability of counselling and complementary therapies within

and DBS checks.

Park Cancer Charity’s busy charity team. Our Counselling and Complementary
Therapy Lead will play a vital role in leading counselling and complementary
therapies service, and will help us to deliver our vision: a better life for those living

About you:
 You will be highly committed to ensuring the delivery of WPCC’s high-quality
counselling and complementary therapy services for adults and for children
and young people.
 You will be highly-organised. You will be able to plan a regular schedule to
maximise the beneficiary impact we are able to provide, whilst also able to
respond to short-term challenges such as practitioner absence.
 You will have a deep understanding of both counselling and complimentary
therapies and how they contribute to integrative cancer care.
 You will work effectively with colleagues, integrating one-to-one counselling
and complementary therapies as part of a wide-ranging service delivery team
which offers advice, transport, peer-to-peer support, and group support.
 You will be committed to delivering safe and confidential services, with a high
level of awareness of the legal and regulatory environment.
 You will be able to manage budgets and resources within the available budget.

As a Community Fundraising Manager for Dementia UK, you will lead a team of regionally based fundraisers to grow income across community fundraising streams, with a strategic focus on high value supporter acquisition and engagement across regional corporates, organisations and individuals.

You will collaborate with the Head of Community Fundraising and Senior Relationship Fundraising Manager to deliver the community fundraising strategy and develop annual budgets.

You will be responsible for guiding your team to identify and secure community fundraising partnerships, building a strong pipeline of new business and developing exceptional supporter journeys. You will deliver exceptional stewardship for some of the team’s highest value supporters, that drives increased average gifts and long-term support.

Additionally, you will produce regular reports on marketing activities and stewardship performance, monitor financial and non-financial KPIs, and continuously leverage supporter insight data and external trend analysis to identify opportunities for income growth and operational improvements.

To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record of delivering income across community fundraising streams, and an understanding of effective relationship fundraising techniques. You will be a strong motivator with experience in using a relationship database to support, inform and report on fundraising activity.

This role will predominately cover a defined region including North East England counties, East midlands, East Anglia, London and South East England, but you may on occasion be required to travel outside of this area to meet business need and attending mtgs and training in the London head office.

Chair of the Education Committee
£3,000 pa honorarium, plus expenses

We’re seeking an experienced, visionary leader to chair our Education Committee, guiding a passionate professional community and shaping the impact of acupuncture education.

This is a unique opportunity to foster collaboration, and champion the educational aims of an influential complementary health profession recognised by the WHO. We are looking for someone who values the profession, understands its potential, and is committed to supporting its educational development and visibility.

To ensure an independent perspective informed by broader sector insight (across higher education and health), this role is open to senior education leaders from other UK healthcare professions outside acupuncture.

What you’ll do

· Support the development of the educational strategy and decision-making that ensures the committee’s work is both forward-looking and fit-for-purpose.

· Lead and chair meetings effectively, balancing strong voices and diverse perspectives.

· Uphold the principles of Public life (NOLAN principles)  build collaboration and trust across committee members, staff leading on education, and external stakeholders.

· Bring an external perspective to shape the committee’s work, policies, and outputs so they are credible, impactful, and positively perceived by external audiences (e.g., public, students, other professions).

· Navigate the balance between autonomy in your committee’s work and alignment with the wider membership body’s vision, working closely with the Governing Board, CEO, and Deputy CEO/Education Manager.

· Working with the Chair of the Accreditation committee, support the accreditation and activity of the BAcC.

· Ensure excellence in acupuncture education within the UK and influence acupuncture’s educational standards globally​.

· Encourage institutional self-improvement by valuing diversity, creativity and innovation​.

· Promote the standards of education and with these curricula standards, celebrate the unique and diverse traditions of the profession.

Who we’re looking for

Someone with significant senior leadership experience in UK healthcare higher education, from a profession other than acupuncture, with a strong understanding of professional education, governance, and academic standards.

You will have:

· a collaborative, inclusive style and excellent facilitation skills

· the ability to manage vocal and engaged members effectively while maintaining focus on outcomes

· strategic thinking with the ability to bring external insight to influence committee outputs and alignment with wider organisational goals

· the capacity to balance independent judgment and delegated authority alongside understanding education’s role within the organisational vision and priorities

· a passion for supporting and championing acupuncture education and standards while offering an independent perspective informed by broader sector insight

Time commitment:

· 3 meetings per year plus 4 Governing Board meetings

· Regular touchpoints with Chair of the Governing Board, Chair of Accreditation Committee, CEO and Education manager.

· Undertake preparatory work in advance of meetings.
