An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, proactive and well organised administrator to develop their skills as part of the Quality and Standards team delivering administrational and engagement support for the teams’ key objectives in the raising of standards with quality assurance process to ensure projects, activities, products, platforms and services are organised and executed to a high standard. The successful applicant will have excellent administrative skills with a high level of emotional intelligence alongside relevant experience in a fast-paced environment, underpinned by a ‘can do’ work ethic and high level of probity. The successful applicant will also have a passion for supporting programmes for young people to accelerate their personal and professional development.
Role Purpose
To provide highly efficient administrative support and be proactive within the Standards Department with exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and a strong teamwork ethic.
The purpose of this role is to provide high-level general administration for the Quality and Standards team who is responsible for raising standards through the learning lab educator platform, using benchmarking resource products, to empower young people and champion future skills.
Key tasks and responsibilities
1. Administrative support to raise standards - Learning Lab:
• Support the engagement plan activities for educators to use the online learning platform and to access educational benchmarked resources.
• To aid the Digital Skills Development Manager to support the creation of editorial and marketing scripts.
2. Administrative support to empower young people - Benchmarking Resources and National Standards:
• To assist the Quality and Standards Manager to develop teaching tools for educators in colleges and training providers.
• Effectively support the co-ordination of resources (including agencies, suppliers, volunteers, and partners) so that all project elements are delivered to acceptable standards and meet the required outcomes.
3. Support to champion future skills – Competition portfolio reviews and audit:
• Producing and distributing accurate records of meetings. Acting as secretariat for meetings that are either in person or virtual that will include setting up meetings using Zoom or Teams, minute taking, and recording actions.
4. Operational Impact:
• Administration and co-ordination of activities in line with the project operational plan
• Develop, co-ordinate and maintain appropriate systems and processes, tracking and reporting on activity.
5. To work with internal or external stakeholders at all:
• Liaising with educator partners to ensure key quality assurance documentation is submitted to deadlines and collated on the appropriate systems.
• Monitoring the enquiries, allocating queries to team members and responding to requests for information.
• Providing support to the team in answering queries from staff, external stakeholders and suppliers.
• Assisting the team with arrangements for meetings and events including booking travel, venues, catering and accommodation.
• Supporting the budget management processes; raising purchase orders, processing invoices and monitoring expenditure.
• Maintaining all administrative systems, processes and databases.
• Supporting the monitoring of key performance indicators for learner and educator engagement and prepare data for inclusion in reports.
6. General

This role is office based (as above) but with flexible hybrid working. It is expected the postholder will attend the office at least once or twice a week.

The Digital Fundraising Manager for WWF International will work to deliver effective digital strategies and techniques across selected markets, with the ultimate aim of maximising short and long term income (primarily unrestricted). What will I be doing?
The role of Community Youth Worker is, by nature, highly relational and is a position of great influence that enables you to nurture, inspire, connect and empower young people from all walks of life, so they can make the most of their lives. As such, it is a role which is demanding and carries great responsibility, but provides exciting opportunities to impact the lives of young people.
This is a varied role which carries with it a variety of different aspects and you are expected to manage your own workload and diary and priorities in liaison with your line manager and with the available time. - Supporting young people in a social enterprise environment
- Research of young people’s needs in the local community
Youth Café
The Youth Hideaway is our flagship project and is a fun open access youth café run by our team after school at our social enterprise café - The Hideaway.
As a Community Youth Worker some of your time will be spent assisting the Youth Café, Project Lead and Head of Youth Work in delivering this project and it may include:
- Helping to create a safe, fun and inspiring environment for the young people that attend
- Plan, prepare and deliver quality youth sessions
- Build healthy relationships with young people that attend the sessions, identifying and responding to the needs that may arise
Monthly Youth Hubs
Youth Hubs are fun open access youth clubs run by our youth workers in the community. These are run on a monthly basis on rotation in different areas within Guildford Borough. As a Community Youth Worker you will be responsible for planning, organising and running at least one HUB, which may include:
- Creating a safe, fun and inspiring environment for the young people that attend
- Planning, preparing and delivering quality youth club sessions
- Building healthy relationships with young people that attend the club sessions, identifying and responding to the needs that may arise
- Promoting the activities of the Youth Hub in the community
- Exemplify the charity's values and Christian ethos to the wider ‘Hubs’ team, leading them in prayer where appropriate.
- Promote the activities of the Youth Café in the community
GASP Motor Project
Matrix will often work in collaboration with partner organisations and following a successful run of pilot sessions we are pleased to confirm that from September 2022 we will be extending our work with GASP Motor Project.
Working in this setting is very similar to the mentoring work that we offer in schools and you may be expected to:
- Conduct one-to-one sessions to listen to, analyse and respond to the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual needs of young people
- Manage, monitor and evaluate caseloads as part of the one-to-one support sessions
- Develop and run a variety of contact points for the young people attending the project, including group sessions
- Build good working relationships with the GASP team
Schools Work
Our work in schools is varied and you may be expected to:
- Conduct one-to-one sessions to listen to, analyse and respond to the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual needs of young people
- Manage, monitor and evaluate caseloads within your allocated school as part of the one-to-one support sessions
- Develop and run a variety of contact points and projects for young people across the school, including group sessions and drop-ins and after school projects
- Alongside the Secondary Schools Project Lead, supervise and build a team of volunteers to work within the school
- Build good working relationships with school staff, CAMHS and other relevant local services
General
- Contribute to, and be involved in fundraising and other activities that benefit Matrix, including whole staff workshop days, fundraising activities.
- During school holidays and after school, be involved in projects organised and run by Matrix, including holiday and after-school clubs (e.g. our Youth Café - The Youth Hideaway) within your allocated hours and as agreed by your line manager
- Raise the positive profile of Matrix by building professional relationships in a multi-agency environment including through networking events in the relevant local area, such as meeting with the community safety wardens, local schools, churches, Police and PCSOs
- Represent Matrix by providing a positive role-model to young people

Level of Authority
As a Community Youth Worker, you will need to operate with a high degree of autonomy. You will be expected to administer your own time and workload in liaison with your line manager, keeping an ‘open’ diary for all activities. We are looking to recruit a Director of Programmes, Partnerships and Advocacy to lead a team of high-performing programme and partnerships managers who guide our relationships with a portfolio of 45 local partners, supporting them in their social witness through a £2.4m programme of grants, and capacity support.

An opportunity has arisen to join Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice as our new Director of Income Generation. Reporting to the Chief Executive you will lead a dynamic and committed team to achieve ambitious income generation targets. The successful candidate will:
- Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to generate income and raise awareness of the Hospice mission and services.
- Provide direction, expertise, guidance, vision and leadership to all teams on income generation activities in a way that enables the teams to own the delivery of the IG strategy and plans.

About the role and person:
Always motivated to achieve brilliant standards of service on every call, their Customer Service Advisors take direct calls from customers, diagnosing faults and raising jobs to ensure their home repairs and maintenance needs are met. It can be a stressful time when things go wrong so strong communication skills, empathy, professionalism and resilience are key.
As a Contact Centre Team Manager, you’ll create an environment where their colleagues feel empowered to put the customer first and provide the best solutions. You’ll lead by example, supporting the team with escalations, ensuring that KPI’s are met and that they’re delivering the brilliant Repairs and Maintenance services their customers deserve. You’ll carry out call audits to ensure the team are communicating with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders to resolve repair related queries and ensure the team is receiving regular coaching and development.
Their contact centre is open Monday – Friday 8am to 6pm. Flexibility to pick up urgent queries outside these hours may also be required from time to time. You don't need to know about home repairs and maintenance -they'll provide the training you need. Their office facilities include free parking, a café and free access to an onsite gym.
What skills/behaviours do you need to be a Contact Centre Team Manager?
- Experience of working within a busy customer focused environment with the ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills including dispute management
- Experience of leading and managing a team in a high volume work environment

- Strong negotiation and communication skills – verbally, in writing and able to present these in a team meeting setting or during 1-2-1’s

Location
The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to their Peterborough office as this post requires you to be on-site. Upon completion of probation, dependent on meeting of role requirements there may also be the opportunity for hybrid working.
Salary:
The spot salary for this post is £40,966 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
