This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as a Supporter Engagement Assistant. You will be joining a dedicated team of 11 who provide the highest level of customer service and directly engage with members of the public by responding to enquiries and engaging in conversations.
As the first point of call for both our supporters and members of the public, you will be handling telephone calls, emails, live chat, text, social, and even the odd letter.
This role requires you to ‘think with your head’ and ‘act with your heart’ to ensure that the very best experiences are had by those that contact and engage with us. At times these can be difficult conversations with distressing content relating to children, but you will have access to comprehensive support and experienced colleagues.
You will have an aptitude and experience of using a variety of communication methods, and knowledge of databases. You will work collaboratively as part of a team; you’ll be a proactive problem solver with the ability see cases through to a successful resolution.
Our Supporter Care service is available from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as a Senior Policy Adviser for the Devolved Nations.
Based in our office in Edinburgh, the Senior Policy Adviser for the Devolved Nations will lead UNICEF UK’s policy work for children across Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, with a primary initial focus on Scotland. The role will identify opportunities to uphold and advance child rights under devolution, including the development of key policy asks and influencing strategies, that are aligned with the context for each country.
You will undertake policy research and analysis while collaborating with colleagues in the UNICEF UK Advocacy Department, the Scotland team and partners in the devolved nations to deliver compelling and impactful advocacy targeted towards the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland Governments. You will have experience of working on child rights issues in the UK, developing policies and translating these into meaningful change through advocacy that is tailored for the devolved nations.

This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as the Events and Experiences Manager (Partnerships), based in the Events and Experiences Team. The role is responsible for delivering an exciting programme of in-person touch-points. The focus on these events is income generation, stewardship, cultivation and engagement.
You will have experience of delivering end- to- end event management, ideally in the high value donor space. You will have proven experience in innovating in-person engagement offerings that deepen and lengthen engagement. You will be able to evidence working effectively in large complex organisations delivering across multiple projects and events. An innovative, creative approach is desired and an ability to work in a collaborative environment is essential. You will have a solid understanding of creating and maintaining partnerships in this space as this will be a key deliverable for the role.
