About the role

As the Area Service Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring our contracts with partners and/or commissioners deliver to the highest standards, in a way that creates maximum impact.

Across Yorkshire, you will lead on the delivery of our coaching and behaviour change programmes alongside managing our expanding housing portfolio and housing support services. You will take responsibility for growing the business across Yorkshire with existing partners, other organisations and via Local Authority contracts.

As a member of the national Joint Leadership Team (JLT), you will help to shape and develop our services and products, ensuring that the EF’s growth remains rooted in our organisational values of respect, accountability, and integrity.

Our current contracts cover Leeds, Kirklees, and York, and you will be required to work across varying sites. You will directly manage a team of Service Managers and Team Leaders and be responsible for a growing staff team of over 25 individuals.

You are an experienced operational leader who has a proven track record in managing front-line substance misuse, recovery and/or housing services.

As a values-led manager, you have a passion for developing services and staff to be the best they can be.

Organisation, planning, and communication skills come naturally to you, as you will managing competing priorities across a large geographical area.

You are flexible and can work autonomously, managing your own diary based on service needs.

Men's Minds Matter brings psychological clinical expertise and lived experience to suicide prevention and intervention. In 2021, we launched the MMM model of psychological entrapment and suicidal crises (PESC-M), which now underpins everything we do. · Strong knowledge of the mental health sector and/or suicide prevention.

Senior CRM Database Officer

Mencap have a fantastic opportunity in the CRM Database team.  We are looking for a Senior CRM Database Officer to work on BAU data process improvements, complex SQL selections, data imports and CRM training.  Mencap are seeking a highly skilled database professional who wants to join a vibrant and dynamic team that is passionate about making the UK the best place to live for people with a learning disability. As the Senior CRM Database Officer, you will combine your strong CRM technical and analytical skills with excellent communication skills to ensure that all our internal & external stakeholders are presented with accurate, accessible data.  You will work within the Fundraising Operations team (FrOps) providing quality CRM data related support and advice to Fundraising CRM users in line with team service levels and performance targets.  In this role, you will identify, implement and write up process improvements; develop & deliver complex data campaign mailing selections & analytics to Fundraising CRM system users for direct marketing purposes; provide support and cover for data import processes and deliver training and procedure guides.  You will also maintain and develop our CRM data systems, ensuring our data accuracy & integrity meets all Fundraising compliance standards.

About the role:

This is a home based role that will include some travel across England and Wales for meetings etc. You will be working within a specific project that delivers learning externally to other organisations outside of VS. Your primary goal will be to deliver high quality digital learning interventions based on what our customers need.

About the role:

Advance delivers nationally accredited, quality marked services in Hammersmith & Fulham, Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea. We work within a coordinated partnership response to violence against women and girls in these three boroughs as part of the Angelou Partnership, within the partnership Advance provides independent domestic violence advocacy and support for women, children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.

About You: 

To be successful as the Young Persons Advocate you will need the below experience and skills: 

The post holder will have proven experience of working with children and young people and may have a background in youth work. They will have an excellent understanding of violence against women and girls, risk management and of best practice within the young people’s sector. As an experienced youth worker who has worked with young women and girls with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety and support planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis.

Experience of direct work with young women and girls who have experienced abuse, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

Job Title: Caring Dads Practitioner

Hours: 22.5 hours per week across 3 days.

Salary: £16,200 per annum (£27,000.00 Full Time Equivalent)

Base: Ashurst / Colocation venues, Southampton

Contract: Part Time - 12 months Fixed Term Contract (extension subject to funding)

Caring Dads exists to change current practice to better include fathers in efforts to enhance the safety and well-being of their children. The practitioner will work directly with fathers with an aim to improve relationships with their children, families, and co-parents/carers. This will include promoting the service to a range of teams across Hampshire and Southampton, to generate programme referrals. You will work closely with Hampton Trust domestic abuse perpetrator service to identify client suitability for the Caring Dads programme.

As the Caring Dads Practitioner, you will be required to deliver the Caring Dads and Accredited Domestic Abuse Prevention Training (ADAPT) Programme. This includes one to one support and group work. Groups are delivered on weekday evenings; you will be required to deliver one group work sessions per week.

You will undertake treatment and risk assessments of individuals causing harm in their relationships; this includes active case/risk management of families living with domestic abuse. Although this position is based in Ashurst, you will be co-located into social work teams across Hampshire three days per week, with an aim to providing support and advice in identifying suitable families for the Caring Dads and ADAPT programme.

Working with the South West Peninsula ODN, The Hepatitis C Trust are now expanding this commitment through the introduction of the HCC (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) surveillance and early liver disease detection programme.

Working in partnership with local hospital and community outreach clinics, the post holder will ensure that patients are supported through initial liver assessment and ongoing surveillance as required. • You will work one-to-one with families to identify their needs, match them to a trained volunteer and regularly review their progress. 

• You will provide on-going support and supervision to skilled, diverse volunteers, and work hard to build and maintain links with referring partners throughout our communities, ensuring holistic support for families. 

• As needs are identified, you will work together with our team of Family Support Co-ordinators to develop and facilitate supportive groups and activities for families. 

Essential requirements:

• Experience of supporting children and families; knowledge and understanding of their needs

• Good interpersonal skills and a positive team player

• Knowledge of safeguarding and the ability to supervise befriending volunteers

• A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice
