We have a fantastic opportunity for a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our growing Clinical Services team.

Working Pattern – 37.5 hours worked over 43 weeks per year (term time).Part time hours will be considered.

Salary - £39,327 (pro-rated to £37,579 based on number of weeks worked).

Location – Liverpool and surrounding areas.

Reports to – External Therapies Lead

You will join our dynamic multidisciplinary team working to provide consultancy, training, advice and direct therapy interventions for pupils and staff to primarily mainstream schools on an outreach basis. Supported by our Highly Specialist Therapist and External Therapies Lead you will contribute to service evaluation and data collection ensuring interventions are evidence-based and professional guidelines are met.

You will provide specialist advice, consultation and training to children, young people, their families, carers, and staff within school, assessing when there is a need for onward referral of students. You will provide data and evidence to support the External Therapies lead/Team lead to evaluate and report back to stakeholders on contract outcomes. Part of your role will be managing the appraisal and supervision of junior colleagues within the occupational therapy team.

What can you bring to the team……………

• Degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy including member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists with current registration with the Health Care Professionals Council as fit to work in the UK.
• Knowledge of embedding therapy into learning activities.
• Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Conditions.
• Experience of working in mainstream school settings, devising, and delivering training using various outcome measurement tools and assessments.
• Experience of working with young people with complex needs including learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Conditions.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to relate well to parents, carers and school teams as well as manage own case load and work autonomously.

As the Trusts and Fundraising Officer, you will maximise income from trusts by the creation of high-quality applications and reports to funders, and by providing excellent account management and cross-team collaboration. To be successful as the Trusts and Fundraising Officer, you will have demonstrable experience in writing successful applications and securing four or five figure grants from trusts and foundations. This role is a full-time permanent position will ideally have hybrid working in their Amersham office, but they could consider homebased with occasional travel to their offices. The salary for this role is £24,000 to £27,000 per annum.

You must be a great communicator with experience in prospect research, writing funding proposals and developing relationships with trust representatives. This is an exciting time to join RABI as we develop a strategy aimed at raising seven-figure sums in 3-4 years to support the farming community.

As part of a growing and dynamic Fundraising team, your main duties will be to research trust and foundations, create and send applications and steward relationship with current and future charitable trusts. As part of the team, you will also be involved in generating funds across various other income streams.

Key responsibilities:

• Research and identify charitable trusts which may provide future financial support to RABI whilst maximising the potential for giving from trusts with which the Charity already has a relationship.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key trust representatives.
• Prepare, submit and monitor applications to charitable trusts including the maintenance of records of applications, grant receipts and successful/failed submissions. Ensure Trusts are thanked for donations in timely fashion.
• Updating the CRM system to ensure activities, communications, donations and other important details are accurately recorded and maintained.
• Compile statistical and background research to support the development of new and existing relationships with Charitable trusts.
• Monitor trust income for finance purposes, ensuring all donations or grants are coded appropriately, including any restrictions upon the use of the income.

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this role will lead and manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships to an excellent standard. As well as managing and supporting the development of strategic partnerships, the post-holder will build relationships with multiple stakeholders to develop long-term commitment to Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Alongside managing our corporate partnerships this role is also responsible for administering our corporate membership scheme, organising Wild Work Days (corporate volunteering), and managing our affinities and Charity of the Year partnerships.

You will collaborate across the Trust to develop innovative and compelling funding proposals, delivering excellent stewardship to existing corporates and identify, research and engage new prospects. You will ensure continuous improvement and innovation in how, evaluating new ideas for income generation and strategies for implementation. 

A compelling and engaging communicator, you’ll be adept at managing corporate relationships of all sizes and at different stages – from prospecting and cultivation through to ask, stewardship and retention, working at all levels of the Trust to achieve ambitious fundraising targets.

This will include assisting in the delivery of Chuf's in Memory Giving strategy through maintaining donors and providing fantastic stewardship. You'll also help the Director of Fundraising to achieve Chuf 's legacy strategy by maximising income generation through gifts in wills. First and foremost, you'll be a Chuf Fundraiser; making sure supporters receive first-class supporter care.

The Linbury Trust

The Linbury Trust was established by Lord Sainsbury of Preston Candover KG and his wife Anya, Lady Sainsbury CBE and the former ballerina Anya Linden.

The Trust’s focus is public engagement with culture including arts, dance, museums, and heritage, especially when this has benefits such as improved quality of life. We also support work that improves the choices of people experiencing disadvantage and inequality, including homelessness, and refugees and asylum seekers.

We fund work and projects that helps older people to live well, especially those experiencing isolation and complex health needs and help projects that support the environment and climate and connect people with nature.

The Headley Trust

The Headley Trust was founded in 1973 by Sir Timothy Sainsbury.

The Talent Set are delighted to be supporting a well-known health charity to find a Trusts & Statutory Manager, managing high-value Trusts relationships that match the charity’s core programmatic priorities and leading a team of two.
What’s on offer:

• Salary - £39-42k dependent on experience
• Hybrid working, with 2 days per week in their Central London Office

Key duties include:

• Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of £50k+ prospects, working with Trusts & Prospect Research colleagues to develop high-value, strategic and multi-year opportunities.
• Creating compelling, high quality fundraising proposals to generate income for a range of projects.
• Account managing key Trusts & Statutory funders, leading on the development of impact reports, and ensuring a bespoke and memorable stewardship experience by developing plans for key funders.
• Providing effective leadership and direction to two Trusts Officers, leading by example to drive a culture of proactivity and relationship-driven fundraising.
• Contributing to the overall T&F strategy, with the Head of Trusts and other Trusts Manager as well as collaborating across the High Value Partnerships team.

We’re looking for the below skills and experience:

• Excellent written communication skills, with evidence of creating bespoke written proposals & reports for Trusts & Statutory supporters.
• A strong track record of building and managing a pipeline of high-value trusts prospects, with a proactive, new-business focused outlook.
• Relationship driven in nature, with experience of developing long-lasting connections internally and externally.
• Experience of developing project summaries and budgets, utilising a keen eye for detail to produce high-quality outputs.

Freshwater Habitats Trust is a national wildlife conservation charity that’s dedicated to reversing the decline in freshwater biodiversity. For more than 35 years, we’ve been protecting and restoring the whole freshwater environment, but with a particular focus on small waterbodies, which have been traditionally undervalued despite their importance for wildlife.

We’re looking for a talented and experienced writer and content creator to share our passion for freshwater. The Content Officer will create high-quality, on-brand written, visual, and video content to share our scientific research and practical conservation work across our website, social media, and other platforms.

You’ll work with our growing team to help us communicate our strategy of building the Freshwater Network - a national network of wilder, wetter, cleaner, connected habitats to reverse the decline in freshwater biodiversity.

The vacancy

You will be central to the leadership and management of Outward Bound and realising the ambition set out in The Next Horizon, leading the financial stewardship of the organisation. You will both oversee the management of the organisation’s financial resources and provide leadership in their utilisation to further the charity’s mission. You will also be responsible for the organisation’s environmental sustainability journey, and for IT, Digital, and trust-wide systems and processes.

The location for the post-holder is flexible, although will require frequent working from the Head Office near Penrith and regular travel for Board, Senior Management and other meetings.

About you

The successful candidate will be central to the leadership and management of the charity in the coming years working closely with the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team. You will be astute, collaborative, risk aware, have an attention to detail and thrive on working in a fast paced environment.

A fully qualified accountant with proven experience at a senior level in a finance role with responsibility across the whole finance function, you will have substantial financial leadership and commercial acumen. Experience in a national level organisation of comparable complexity is also required.

You will be a creative and entrepreneurial leader, able to develop your team members to their full potential. You should be committed to embedding the values of equity, diversity and inclusion into everything that you do.
