We are recruiting a Grants Support Administrator to join our dynamic Grants and Programmes team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of our grants processes (both applications and live grants management) and to provide general administrative support to the Grants and Programmes team and its Directors.

In the role of Grants Support Administrator, you will be responsible for responding to general enquiries from potential and current grantees and developing and maintaining FAQs for responding to applicants and grant holders. You will work with the Grants Coordinators in processing grant applications through to award or rejection, with managing and processing live grants, and updating records on Salesforce (the Foundation’s applications and grant management CRM). You will also assist with the processing of invoices and expense claims, keeping communication materials up-to-date, and supporting Grants Coordinators with grant-holder events and meetings at the Foundation’s offices. 

As a member of the wider Foundation administrative team, you will also provide ad-hoc support to Office Services and the Nuffield Foundation’s Leadership Team when required, including supporting Trustee and Committee meetings when needed. 

We are looking for someone with excellent administrative and coordination skills, strong communication and liaising abilities, and a problem-solving mindset. You will have experience of previously working in administrative roles, and have knowledge of office systems and processes. You will enjoy working with teams and be comfortable of working with a range of people across multiple workstreams. Experience using Salesforce or working in a grant-making environment is highly desirable, but we welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds who are ready to learn and grow in the role. Above all you will be someone who is proactive, willing to 'muck in' when needed and be able to work in a collaborative and inclusive style.

Description 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Fundraising to lead and further develop our fundraising activity at a pivotal time for the Cathedral. This is a strategic and hands on role, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Management Team to secure the resources needed to sustain and grow the Cathedral’s mission, ministry and buildings. 

You will take the lead on generating fundraising income, primarily through trusts and foundations, while also developing appeals, legacy giving, regular giving and new fundraising income streams. You will build on the strong foundations already in place, bringing creativity, rigour and collaboration to everything you do. 

The role 

As Head of Fundraising, you will: 

• Lead relationships with trusts and foundations, identifying opportunities, writing compelling applications and managing reporting and compliance 

• Drive major fundraising bids to support the Cathedral’s Estates Masterplan and strategic priorities 

• Develop and deliver fundraising appeals and pilot new initiatives to diversify income 

• Grow legacy and regular giving, building a sustainable pipeline of long-term supporters 

• Lead supporter care, engagement and fundraising events 

• Oversee fundraising communications and profile raising activity 

• Work collaboratively across the Cathedral to develop fundable projects and shared ownership of fundraising 

• Manage the fundraising budget and report progress to the Senior Management Team and Finance Committee 

• Act as Line Manager for the Development Officer 

This role combines strategic thinking with practical delivery and will suit someone who enjoys working in a small, committed team where no two days are the same.

Chance for Childhood has a vision of a world in which every childhood is filled with safety, belonging and play. We fight for children across Africa to lead independent lives through urgent action in education, health and economic resilience.

We work in four African countries (Ghana, the DRC, Rwanda, and Uganda) and we are carving out a niche as experts in inclusive education and safe spaces for children in vulnerable situations.

In 2022, we launched the #OverExposed campaign to advocate for ethical imagery and storytelling in the fundraising and marketing materials of international development charities. In 2025, the campaign is still going strong and providing opportunities to keep this important topic on the agenda in the development sector.

Your role.

As the Communications Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the charity’s communications strategy to raise awareness, increase engagement, and grow support for our vital work. You will manage all external communications across multiple platforms, including social media, website, email marketing, and events, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand voice. You will work closely with the Individual Giving Manager and Fundraising Officer to drive impactful campaigns. Additionally, you will play an essential role in promoting and protecting the charity's brand.

• Collaborate with the Individual Giving Manager and Fundraising Officer to develop and execute communications strategies for fundraising campaigns and events.

• Create campaign materials and event collateral, ensuring alignment with the charity’s brand.
• Advocate for ethical storytelling practices by leading our #OverExposed campaign aimed at other charities in the sector

4. Brand Management:

• Ensure all communications align with the charity’s brand guidelines and tone of voice.
• Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
• Work with external designers, photographers, and agencies as needed to produce high-quality branded materials.

5. Team Collaboration:

• Provide guidance, support, and feedback to enhance the confidence of local project teams to produce quality communications, in alignment with Chance for Childhood’s shifting power approach and broader 2030 strategy.
• Work with programme staff to gather key project updates and ensure a steady stream of impactful stories from our work to be used in fundraising and communications materials
• Collaborate with other teams across the organisation to support cross-functional projects and activities.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders including programmes, finance, fundraising and Trustees to oversee the writing, design and publication of the Annual Report

6. Monitoring and Evaluation:

We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Head of Finance to lead our financial management, planning, and governance.

This is a senior and influential role, sitting on our Leadership Group and working closely with the CEO, Trustees, and Finance Committee. You’ll provide clear financial insight to support decision-making, ensure strong financial stewardship, and help us plan sustainably for the future.

What we expect from you

Working alongside the Head of Operations, CEO and department heads, your responsibilities will cover Shift.ms and its wholly owned subsidiary, realworld ms ltd, as follows:

Financial management

• Be the primary point of contact for our Treasurer, Accountant and External Auditor;

• Review and constantly improve processes and internal controls for finance;

• Lead the development of annual budgets and shorter/longer term forecasts as needed;

• Manage accounting, budget and cash flow, and working with the CEO, develop cost reduction strategies as needed;

• Prepare monthly management accounts incorporating variance analysis of budgets vs. actuals and headline narrative;

• Manage monthly payroll with an external payroll provider;

• Draft consolidated statutory accounts for audit and lead the coordination of year-end audit;

• Prepare quarterly VAT returns for the Group and be the main point of contact for HMRC;

• Make recommendations for corporate gift aid donations based on performance and future forecasts for the subsidiary;

• Present finance updates in-person at quarterly board meetings normally held in London;

• Manage and lead FinCom meetings, typically held quarterly;

• Attend the trustee annual away weekend.

Bookkeeping 

• Lead the financial operations of the charity including recording transactions onto the finance system (Quickbooks), managing cashflow, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, processing of purchase invoices and supplier payments;

• Complete month end reconciliations as part of the preparation of monthly management accounts;

• Track, calculate and process intercompany recharges to ensure costs sit within the correct entity;

• Track and ensure correct treatment and reporting of restricted/unrestricted funds;

• Process employee, volunteer & trustee expense claims;

• Manage the relationship with an external payroll bureau, liaising with them to ensure payroll is processed accurately and paid on time;

• Support employee onboarding including obtaining details for payroll and pre employment checks.

Other 

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders on projects and reporting; 

• Track income receipts and projections for weekly income generation calls with heads of department;

• Process gift aid claims;

• Renew insurances.

Qualifications, skills and abilities (E= Essential D = Desirable)

• Be part or fully qualified with a professional accounting qualification ACCA, CIMA or ACA, with at least 2-3 years post qualification experience. (E)

• Employment history in a charity/3rd sector role (D)

• Good understanding of charity reporting requirements and Charity SORP (E) especially the technical application of income recognition requirements for the charity and its subsidiary

• Experience of VAT reporting (E) including an understanding of VAT recovery with respect to business and non business for charities, place of supply (overseas transactions)

We are recruiting for a compassionate Instructor to support the delivery of our specialist assistance dog programmes. This role is key to ensuring our clients and their dogs receive high-quality, tailored training, enabling strong partnerships that transform lives.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate and growing organisation committed to supporting people with a range of disabilities. You will deliver one-to-one training for clients and their dogs, covering task work, obedience, and practical skills, as well as providing structured guidance to help build confident and successful partnerships. The role involves a mix of home visits, community-based training, and nationwide travel, including occasional overnight stays.

Working both independently and as part of a wider team, you will support clients throughout their journey, from initial training through to post-graduation follow-ups, ensuring ongoing progress and wellbeing. You will also respond to behavioural enquiries, deliver training classes and presentations, and contribute to the smooth running of the training department through administration and reporting.

To succeed, you will have strong experience in dog training and behaviour, alongside the ability to build supportive, professional relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds. You will be confident working alone in varied environments, adaptable in your approach, and comfortable delivering training to individuals and groups. A commitment to excellent communication, organisation, and compassionate support is essential.

You will work within the Operations Team, and closely with the Operations Lead, to provide project support to Housing Matters’ internal development. This will include supporting the monitoring and evaluation and quality processes and supporting the finance and reporting elements of the charity.

Please Note: You will not be eligible to apply unless you hold the L2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training and have worked for 5 years in cycle training. If you do not hold this qualification your application will automatically rejected.

The organisation is seeking a motivated and inspiring leader full of energy and ideas to lead and grow fundraising. The Interim Head of Development will lead the delivery of the fundraising strategy and will support any capital fundraising campaign planning for the future, while also liaising and reporting to the Board of Trustees where appropriate. The postholder will be responsible for generating all fundraised income (c. £1m per annum currently) from corporates, individuals and trusts and foundations, which represents approximately 26% of the organisation’s total income. The postholder will lead the Development Team and will report to the Director.

The selected candidate will have a demonstrable track record of successful fundraising including major donor fundraising and writing successful grant applications. You will have the ability to combine strategic thinking with attention to detail and will ideally have worked in the arts and culture sector, understanding its nuances and donor motivations, before.

Lead finance in a vibrant multi form arts venue and cultural hub in North London. 

artsdepot incorporates a 395-seat main theatre, 148 seat studio theatre, gallery, Creation Space, dance, drama and art studios, café and bar and other public spaces, and welcomes over 185,000 people to watch, learn or be inspired by a programme of shows and events.

As Head of Finance, you will sit on the Senior Leadership Team, leading financial strategy, governance and performance. You will ensure robust financial management, support decision-making, and oversee HR and ICT functions. This is a visible, influential role with scope to shape long-term sustainability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Deliver accurate management accounts, cashflow and financial insight
• Ensure compliance with Charity SORP, VAT, payroll and statutory reporting
• Advise CEO, Trustees and committees on financial risk and performance
• Lead and develop finance, hires, HR and ICT functions

This role will suit a qualified accountant with charity or cultural sector experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to confidently balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
