• Proven experience in Supporter Care and income processing, ideally within a charity environment, with confidence in handling sensitive or escalated supporter interactions. 
• Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Raiser’s Edge), with a solid understanding of data accuracy, Gift Aid, and Data Protection legislation. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks while working collaboratively across teams. 
• Team-oriented and values-driven, with a passion for delivering great supporter experiences, a positive attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

•  Access – the Foundation for Social Investment works to make sure that charities and social enterprises can access the finance they need to sustain or grow their impact.
• You will be part of a small organisation of around 15 people that take a flexible, collaborative and trust-based approach to work.
• Working closely with the Head of Blended Finance and the wider Programme team you will act as an integral support function for colleagues but also build good relationships with our external partners, supporting their engagement with Access.

What you will deliver (responsibilities)

Programme Support:

• Present analysis and insights based on performance data and any contact with delivery partners to inform decisions within the team about ongoing relationships.
• Support the writing of papers for the Investment Committee and other committees including the Access Board, to present clear information to support understanding and decision-making.
• Help to organise, manage and minute internal and external meetings and events, including peer learning workshops.
• Assist with keeping Programmes pages of the Access website up to date.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of a bank of practical resources for use by our partners
• Other programme support duties as required.

Finance:

• Ensure robust financial management of Access’s programmes, including monitoring deployment targets of social investors and supporting the process for drawing funds from Access.

Relationship management:

•  Become one of the day-to-day points of contact for a portfolio of organisations who are delivering or supporting Access’s programmes, or in the process of applying to do so. These may include social investors, grant partners or other stakeholders.
• Build strong productive and supportive working relationships with delivery partners, in a spirit of collaboration and learning.
• Maintain comprehensive and clear records of the status of the relationship and any key questions or issues which are currently being addressed.

Data and learning:

• Support the acquisition and collation of regular performance data submissions
• Support the analysis and reporting on performance within each delivery partner and across the portfolio.

Other tasks:

• Leading on or supporting the delivery of internal and external events
• Contributing to learning and programme design discussions

First Give inspires young people to make a difference to causes they care about. We work in partnership with secondary schools, providing a scheme of work that guides an entire year group of students to engage with local charities and causes, and then carry out social action (fundraising, raising awareness, campaigning, volunteering) in support of them.

At the end of each programme, a celebratory School Final is held, where groups representing each class deliver presentations about their projects - with one group winning a First Give grant of £1,000 for their chosen charity.

Programme Delivery Officer role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs are responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of First Give in up to 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, providing guidance and troubleshooting for the Lead Teachers.

The role is home-based, in Yorkshire, with regular travel to schools across the county and occasional forays to schools in the North-West. Several times a year travel will be required to London, where our office is based.

• Contract: 18-month FTC
• Salary: £26,840
• Location: Home-based, with travel as required
• Reporting to: Programme Manager

Key responsibilities

• Provide logistic and programme support to teachers delivering the First Give programme at their school, including but not limited to:
  • an introductory Programme Call with the Lead teacher;
  • delivering a briefing to class teachers;
  • troubleshooting via phone and email;
  • booking in First Give facilitated sessions
• Ensure all programmes are delivering all core elements of the First Give programme
• Update and monitor Salesforce to track programme delivery
• Liaise with freelance facilitators to ensure events at schools are effectively staffed
• Deliver Launch Assemblies, Workshops and First Give Finals in partner schools
• Collect data for monitoring (student surveys, teacher surveys, identifying potential stories of impact, writing programme reports)
• Ensure prompt delivery of any programme resources required by schools (including Coursebooks and other physical resources)
• Support in the collection and distribution of comms via social media, newsletters and other formats to raise awareness of First Give’s work
• Support with wider team projects as and when is necessary

Youth Participation Officer

Fitzrovia Youth in Action is looking for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic person for our Youth Participation Officer role. If you feel like this is you, we would love to hear from you!

The post holder will manage and develop youth-led community projects in which young people develop their leadership and employability skills through becoming actively involved in their community and participating in self-directed community action. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of several youth-led community projects, primarily the organisation of youth-led community events, but might also include elements of other youth-led activities, such as youth action team, health champions and ambassadors. 

For example, typically, this would involve working with groups of around 10 young people in each cohort and support them to deliver their community event project over a 12-week period.  Examples of events include youth-led football tournaments, street parties and our community Christmas dinner. This post will be part of the delivery team overseeing self-directed community action projects. The post holder may also support drop-in sessions and other activities aimed at engaging young people and referring them onto the youth-led community action programme.

We are elated to be to offer this part time post and continue the social action work with young people.

Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Without our care, these buildings might have disappeared entirely. Instead, they are enjoyed as social, tourism, educational and cultural resources, kept open, in use, and living once again in the heart of their communities.

Overall job purpose

This is a fundamental role within our South regional team, internally the role is known as Local Community Officer.

The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on communities supporting their local CCT church with funds, events, inspiring interpretation, visitor services and preventive conservation. The Local Community Officer will engage and support communities and volunteers to care for 29 historic churches across Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, ensuring each site achieves agreed standards.

Chief Executive officer

£56,000 per annum - pro rata

 (32 hours based on 37 hours per week FTE)

The CEO needs to be a strategic leader who can inspire and manage teams, drive fundraising and financial sustainability, and represent the organisation to stakeholders. You will need to be capable of building relationships, fostering a positive organisational culture and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

You will work with the Chair of the Board of Trustees (Chair) and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to formulate and regularly review the organisation's mission and strategic plan. You will develop deep and trusting relationships with the Community we serve as well as with a wide range of external stakeholders and funders who can support the ideas generated from within the community.

We need an innovative, enthusiastic entrepreneur who is keen to connect with people from all backgrounds and abilities, encouraging and bringing out the best in us all.

At a more operational level you will work with the SLT to develop operational plans and key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure that GL11 can always demonstrate the value it brings to the community and wider stakeholder network.

You will be responsible, with the SLT, to set the values, behaviours and tone for the whole organisation and support the SLT to lead and manage their teams so that the strategic goals you set are reflected throughout the organisation.

This role is based at the Community Hub in Cam, Gloucestershire. Remote working opportunities are very limited as community connection is an important part of the role although the CEO will often be offsite given the networking nature of the role.

​This role sits within the services and partnerships directorate.

Our focus is on delivering practical guidance and support which matters most to charities and voluntary organisations across the UK. We do this through practical support, training, consultancy and by developing partnerships with funders and businesses which are committed to supporting the sector.

​Each year, we deliver hundreds of training courses on the topics that matter most to charities, reaching thousands of learners across England. Our work supports organisations of all sizes and has a wide-reaching impact across the charity sector. The insights we gain also inform and shape NCVO’s policy priorities.

The training team includes two Senior Training Officers and a Training Assistant, and is supported by colleagues in our Business Support team.

The Role

The current CEO, Denise Stygal-Watson, has done a fantastic job since joining the charity over four years ago and will be handing over an organisation at an exciting time in its development. We have a strong senior management team in place, enjoy robust processes, solid reporting, accountability and financial rigour and, while there are inevitably challenges, there is everything to play for going forward.

Great work has already been done but the charity needs to continue to build its network, develop partnerships with local companies, as well as grow its donor income, including legacies, to build on its base of earned income from its retail revenue. Ambitious for our growth and commercially minded, our new CEO will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and to focus externally, to be the ambassador for Age UK Milton Keynes, to raise its profile and promote the opportunities available to the people and organisations who can benefit from partnering with us.

Main responsibilities include:

• Strategic leadership and vision
• To provide clear and forward-thinking leadership to ensure Age UK Milton Keynes remains resilient, relevant and impactful in a changing environment
• Financial leadership and fundraising
• To grow income from all sources, encouraging new avenues of income generation through services and growth.
• To be responsible for the effective, strong leadership and management of the staff, volunteers, the organisation and its resources.
• Governance and compliance
• Service development and delivery
• To actively promote, explore and develop ways of working with organisations and statutory agencies within Milton Keynes

About You

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of leadership and management across a range of responsibilities at senior level – ideally gained in the corporate sector.

You will also have:

• Substantial experience of business planning development and delivery
• Financial acumen – experience of financial management and control, including budget oversight and cost control
• Knowledge, experience and understanding of strategic planning and service development planning; including facilitation, implementation and review/evaluation and organisational change
• Track record in driving and supporting fundraising growth, developing networks and working with funding partners
• Demonstration of influencing and developing relationship with key stakeholders and senior opinion leaders including local authority or similar
• Track record as a leader of people, creating positive affirming environments for successful teams and an inclusive organisation

The Organisation

Age UK Milton Keynes was established in June 1978 as Age Concern and became Age UK Milton Keynes when Age Concern and Help the Aged were merged in 2011. Age UK Milton Keynes is a local independent charity working to improve the quality of life for all older people living in Milton Keynes.

About the Role
As the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic leadership and ensure effective governance for MDXSU. You will empower and support our elected student officers and build strong relationships across the Middlesex community and beyond. You will also be responsible for the union's financial performance, legal compliance, and reputation.

This is a unique opportunity to join a union with the foundations in place to go from good to great. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding and belief in student leadership and social justice, along with a proven track record of developing and delivering high-quality organisational strategies.

The ideal candidate will have significant management experience at a senior level within a students' union or similar organisation, with a strong track record of developing and delivering organisational strategies. You should also be committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment by actively breaking down barriers to engagement for different communities.

• Significant senior-level management experience with strategic responsibility across multiple functions
• Demonstrable experience embedding student or member voice throughout an organisation's strategic planning and operations
• Experience in sound operational management, including effective financial control and oversight of HR

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven executive to join our organisation as Chief Executive Officer on a part-time basis (2 days per week. Pro-rata salary: £20,000-£24,000). TimeGivers is a fast-growing West London charity that is redefining how children engage with their communities. TimeGivers creates scalable, school-centred volunteering programmes that embed social action into the lives of children and the fabric of their communities. Every programme is community-led: we partner with local schools, councils, alliances and charities, co-designing volunteering programmes around specific, identified local need. Our events are also child led whereby young people choose the causes they want to support and help to come up with ideas for how they want to help them.

Core Responsibilities

With proven leadership experience in the charity sector, you must bring a passion for our work and an ability to translate strategy into action. You will be leading us from successful start-up to a more established and growing organisation. We therefore seek experience in driving organisational growth and aligning resources to support this, together with expertise in introducing effective monitoring, evaluation, and performance management to ensure we’re delivering against our strategic objectives and can demonstrate impact.

A key aspect of your role will be overseeing the financial health of the organisation ensuring effective budgeting, forecasting and resource management. You will work closely with the Fundraising Manager to develop and implement a sustainable fundraising strategy, identifying and securing diverse income streams (e.g. grants, donations corporate partnerships), as well as working with the Financial Director and the Board to prepare annual accounts and financial reports.

You will be responsible for ensuring the charity operates in accordance with its constitution, policies and legal requirements; maintaining high standards of accountability, safeguarding and risk management across all aspects of the organisation. You will support the Board of Trustees by providing timely and accurate information to ensure effective governance and decision making.

Alongside these skills we are looking for an inspirational and entrepreneurial leader who can galvanise and optimise the performance of our team and dedicated volunteers, ensuring the effective delivery of our programmes. You will be someone who can think strategically but is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and has an energetic, positive and can-do approach. To be successful you will also be adept at managing a range of stakeholders and be credible and inspiring as an ambassador, equipped with excellent communication and influencing skills to promote TimeGivers.

Desirable Experience

 · Proven executive leadership experience, preferably as CEO or in a similar senior role in the charity, public or voluntary sector

· Experience working with child-focused non-profit organisations

· Strong track record in income generation including fundraising, partnerships and securing grants.

· Robust experience in driving and delivering growth and meeting objectives

· Thorough working knowledge of governance and compliance requirements for charities

As our chief strategy and governance officer, you’ll report directly to the chief executive and play a key leadership role as part of Sense’s chief officers’ group. This is a hybrid role based from either Birmingham or London, with frequent travel.

• Digitally confident, with strong understanding of data protection, information governance, and the role of technology in transformation.
