Join Single Homeless Project (SHP) as a Senior Outreach Worker and become a driving force in our dynamic response to homelessness. This is an exciting opportunity for a Family and Volunteer Support Worker to deliver a volunteer support service for new parents and their families during the perinatal period across the London borough of Camden in the Parents Matter Perinatal Family Support Service.
This service provides a programme of support for pregnant women and new parents which includes volunteer face-to-face befriending in the home and community as well as support by phone and video. We are looking to recruit an Employment & Learning Advisor to work effectively as a member of the Centre and the Employment & Learning team to progress a caseload of clients on their journey into meaningful and sustainable employment. You would be responsible for coordinating a range of employment-focused provision through 1:1 interventions, workshops, courses, and supplementary training opportunities to improve clients’ confidence and skills to increase their employability and household income potential. You would also be responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining external relationships and partnerships with relevant organisations, employers, and training providers. In addition to this, you would also work alongside your line manager to deliver a comprehensive learning and employment service, that meets client need and is delivered in line with the organisation’s strategic aims, objectives, and outcomes-based approach. What you'll do:
* Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Manager
* Provide support 9am-5pm 7 days a week
* Assess prospective discharges within 3-5 hours of receiving referral information.
* Support the customer to settle in and meet their immediate social care needs.
* Update the Discharge/Patient Flow Team on patient progress on a weekly basis.

About the role:
This role is based in London with Hybrid working.
As a Senior IDVA you will be:
- The main purpose of the job is to effectively manage and develop a high quality, innovative and pro-active domestic abuse service for victims and their children, including those at highest risk. Also you will need to ensure that the service prioritises the safety, security and dignity of service users and their children.
- The job would also include you being lead in crisis situations and to provide advice and guidance on safeguarding issues and information sharing concern
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.
- Develop your team and address their individual development/performance needs, set individual and team objectives and undertake annual appraisals.
You will need:
- To be successful in this role, you will need to have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse, including the impact on victims and their children, and the legal and practical remedies available to these clients.
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practice and legislation relating to equal opportunities and diversity, inclusivity, safeguarding and risk assessments.
- Experience managing the delivery of domestic abuse services and managerial experience will also be necessary as well as having a thorough understanding of IDVA work.
- A proven ability to confidently use various IT systems including Case Management, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Outlook and other online applications/platforms.
- You would also need to hold a SafeLives IDVA training certificate, a relevant degree, a vocational qualification or have equivalent experience.
- An enhanced criminal record check and police vetting is required for this role.

At Single Homeless Project's (SHP) Elms, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Support Assistant ready to make a lasting difference in people's lives. Elms is a vibrant service based in Leyton (Waltham Forest) that brings together supported housing, a daytime activity programme, and a small floating support service. The supported housing element provides longer-term placements for adults with a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, some of whom may also be managing physical health needs. Here, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents to maintain their daily routines, manage their treatment, and grow in confidence as they move toward greater independence. From encouraging healthy eating and personal care to assisting with medication prompts and helping to keep living spaces welcoming and safe, you’ll be a consistent and trusted presence in their journey.

* Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support actions and capture outcomes in Support and Risk Management files.

In this role, you will:
- Assist the Diocese and Estates team, by scheduling, instructing and overseeing 5 yearly cycling building condition surveys (known as Quinquennial reports) and prioritising the resulting recommended remedial repair works by agreement with each Parish on the Diocese’s churches, halls, offices and residential properties to include listed buildings.

- Improve the value for money spent on both the building condition surveys and the resulting repair works.

Main Duties
- Oversee and later complete building surveys on Diocese church properties.
- Prioritise, oversee and project manage works resulting from building surveys.
