We have a small, dynamic and diverse staff team who provide support to our young people across three houses where they live while they are supported to develop the skills they need to leave care and live more independently.
We are looking for a PA/ Office Manager-team administrator who is highly motivated to support the organisation. It is a varied role and no two days will be the same! Additionally the role involves supporting the CRS/charity work in Brent Schools Football, which is something Housing Plus has supported for many years.
You will need to have strong organisational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, a problem solving and “can do” attitude, a degree of flexibility and be an all-round team player. You will have some contact with the young people and will need to be supportive, understanding and sensitive to their needs.
Main Duties:

We are looking for someone who is outgoing and enthusiastic to join our Supporter Care team, who will carry out essential supporter engagement and administrative activities associated with marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials. The Supporter Care team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is often the first point of contact in the charity for supporters, potential donors and members of the public. The Supporter Care Administrator works alongside five other team Administrators handling supporter enquiries, processing donations, and thanking supporters to ensure an excellent standard of customer care and to generate the maximum amount of income for dementia research. This role reports to the Senior Supporter Care Officer (SSCO) and ensures that the team successfully deliver an efficient and a first-class supporter experience for the charity.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, or on return of the substantive post holder, due to a secondment. This role will you to be in the office 2-3 days per week depending on business needs.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Supporter engagement
· Answering inbound telephone calls; responding to a wide range of enquiries including marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials.
· Managing email enquiries, either by responding or forwarding as necessary.
· Responding to written enquiries received in the post.
· Making outbound telephone calls in order to increase the value of, or to retain supporters; including thanking, obtaining Gift Aid declarations and reactivating lapsed donors.

Donation processing, database and general administration

· Regular giving; processing new Direct Debit instructions and Standing Order payments, amending and cancelling gifts as necessary.
· Processing and thanking donations relating to regional fundraising and sporting events.
· Ensuring the integrity of the database (currently Salesforce), by amending supporter details as necessary.
· Opening and batching incoming post.
· Updating team procedures as required.
· Archiving, scanning and filing documents.

We’re working with a wonderful health charity who are looking for an Events Administrator to join their events and community team. You’ll speak to supporters over the phone, via email and social media and be the first point of contact for enquiries. You’ll work on the supporter-led fundraising team portfolio, including challenge events, community fundraising and fundraising products, providing administrative support.
This is an important role for the team as you will be the first point of contact for speaking with participants and maintaining accurate data entry, you will also send out communications and event packs to supporters as well as focusing on 3rd party events programmes. As an Events Administrator, you will need:
- Experience in fundraising, supporter care or similar customer service capacity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to respond to supporter queries efficiently

The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a specialist UK charity which provides expert care and support for refugees and people seeking asylum who have experienced extreme human cruelty such as torture or human trafficking. We work with hundreds of clients every year from all over the world. HBF delivers a specialist Model of Integrated Care that addresses the complex needs and vulnerabilities of survivors. Through the Model of Integrated Care, the HBF offers survivors access to an individually tailored programme of specialist psychological care and medical advisory services, legal protection including providing expert medico-legal documentation, welfare and housing support, and creative and skills activities within an integration programme. Where someone is a survivor of human trafficking they benefit from HBF’s counter-trafficking programme of support. The Foundation’s expertise is renowned in the field.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Team which operates within HBF’s vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. The duties of Client Services Administrator are two-fold 1) is to host our busy reception area and friendly waiting room; welcome clients and visiting professionals to the Helen Bamber Foundation and attend to any needs they might have and 2) to oversee the booking of appointments between clients and staff/volunteers across the organisation; liaising with third parties and clinicians in relation to Initial Assessments; booking and managing doctor’s diaries for our Medical Advisory Services and the booking of interpreters across the organisation. You will be at the heart of an exciting team of experts, working as the face of HBF and the first point of contact for both external and internal queries. You will be a self-motivating team player, organised, efficient and have a compassionate mind-set.
The role will work closely with the other person in post as Client Services Administrator and jointly manage the workload. The role also includes assistance and general facilities support to the Senior Operations and HR Coordinator.
