This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in taking the Learned Society of Wales forward: ensuring we are operating at our very best – as an effective, well-governed and professional organisation – so that we can deliver our ambitious strategy to benefit Wales. Our Operations Assistant will provide invaluable support to the Operations, Finance and Governance team to ensure the smooth running of our organisation.
This post would suit a proactive, organised and detail-focussed person who would enjoy a varied role supporting, and being part of, a dynamic team. For an Assistant-level role we do not expect you to have substantial previous work experience, but we are looking for a self-starter with a keenness to learn, and a proactive attitude to assisting others and finding solutions is essential.
LSW supports active Welsh learners at all levels. Fluency in Welsh is not a requirement of this post, but the ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable and a willingness to learn is essential.

Actively Interviewing
This organisation is scheduling interviews as applications come in. They're ready to hire as soon as they find the right person. Don't miss your opportunity, apply now!
Part of a team of Outreach and Project Workers pivotal to the delivery of an exciting new project focused on reaching women identified as at risk of homelessness and exploitation. The Luna Project supports women at risk of rough sleeping, homelessness and exploitation. Working across key areas of Enfield and Haringey you will, through a combination of nighttime outreach and daytime service provision, be critical to supporting a coordinated response across multiple agencies already engaged in this work.
You will undertake at least twice weekly nighttime outreach, support additional services and existing outreach provision and develop a daytime offer that meets the needs of women engaged through outreach and identified as at high risk of harm and homelessness.
You will have responsibility for a caseload of women identified through outreach, referral and presentation at ours and other services. You will provide advocacy, casework support and connection and referral into other agencies which can help them address their needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a passionate, high performing team and support the development of a new service which is meeting identified gaps in local provision.

At Hestia, we are guided by our core values and are dedicated to fostering an equitable, diverse, and inclusive organisation. Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for a Peer Support Worker to play a pivotal role in our Crisis Alternative Service in Hounslow
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
We are seeking a dedicated worker to manage a caseload of clients needing early intervention or prevention support with their mental health. The role involves delivering group activities and programmes, co-producing support with service users, and empowering them to engage effectively with professionals and community services. You will help develop peer support networks, monitor wellbeing and safety, and ensure all safeguarding concerns are addressed. The post requires flexibility, teamwork, accurate record-keeping, and timely completion of referrals, assessments, and reviews. You will also support colleagues, contribute to the smooth running of the service, and take part in regular supervision and professional development.
What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
Here's what the team will be looking for:
We are seeking someone with proven experience supporting individuals with mental health and/or dual diagnosis, with strong knowledge of mental health conditions, recovery approaches, and relevant legislation. The role requires excellent communication, partnership-building, and case management skills, alongside the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and to support new staff or volunteers. You should have experience in planning and delivering initiatives such as groups, events, or volunteer programmes, as well as strong organisational, IT, and administrative skills. A solid understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, and local recovery services is essential, along with the confidence to represent the organisation externally and manage work effectively under pressure.
