This s a full time 37.5hrs on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Co-locating an Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate (IDSVA), with Sexual Health London we will be identifying DA victims earlier than we otherwise could through other ways of working. This service prioritises early intervention and prevention.

About the Role:
This role is co-located within Chelsea & Westminster Hospital 3-4 days per week and 1 day per week at our office near Old Street and/or working from home.
You may be a qualified IDVA or a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker wanting to work alongside health professionals in a hospital environment, although we will consider applicants from other fields providing you are able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse.
As a Hospital Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate you will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
- Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of Sexual Health London, Chelsea and Westminster Foundation Trust, the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic and sexual abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic and sexual abuse.
- Be comfortable with running group training sessions and be willing and able to share your specialist knowledge with acute staff across the hospital.
- Have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and the confidence to be able to influence the way in which this service is delivered are key.
Please note that the successful applicant will be required to sign an honorary contract with the Hospital Trust in addition to their contract of employment.
You will need to:
- Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic and sexual abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
- Have a good understanding of domestic and sexual abuse including the impact of abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic and sexual abuse and their children.
- Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Direct service delivery to victims of domestic and sexual abuse or other vulnerable people.
- Understand and be committed to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice.
- Have a strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.

We also support care leavers who are not from a forced migration background. The service launched in June 2020, initially supporting young people living in 1 semi-independent property in Sutton. We are currently providing support in 6 semi-independent properties in Sutton and Croydon, as well as within different community settings. We expect this service to continue to grow, and to provide support across an increasing number of properties.

About the Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to provide debt advice and money education on a case management basis and to support the provision of advice by volunteers. The post holder will be expected to manage their own cases and lead appointment sessions.

The job holder will play their part in bringing this vision to reality, supporting clients through what at times can be emotionally difficult situations, to get back on their feet and realise their full potential.

About the role of Finance Manager
The Finance Manager is a core member of WCC's management team and is a key advisor and partner to the CEO on all areas of finance. Purpose of job:
In this role you will business partner with the Funding directorate to ensure high quality, accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting with respect to both restricted projects and unrestricted operational activity in the Funding team. This is a unique opportunity to lead a highly skilled and committed team of 17 advisers and specialists who together are working in partnership with businesses to deliver real nature positive improvements across the economy. You will lead the development of existing partnerships and programmes, and drive through new ones delivering ambition and impact at scale.
What's the role about?
You will be responsible for the team that enables delivery of the RSPB's strategy and the key aims of conservation impact, nature positive business change and additional income to the society. In particular you will:
- Lead a team of business conservation advisors, who are based across the UK
- Develop the skills and capabilities of the team towards high performance and positive culture
- Be responsible for the quality of RSPB inputs into business conservation partnerships and aligning with RSPB outcomes
- Work across RSPB teams to bring to fruition new and expanded partnerships that are fitted to RSPB’s strategy
- Be responsible for effective stakeholder management that facilitates collaborative external and internal relationships
- Lead the communications, impact reporting and promotion of the team’s work, to raise its profile with key audiences
- Direct the team’s activities and translate RSPB corporate strategy outcomes into work plans, meeting ambition and managing risks
- Work with colleagues in Policy and Advocacy to enhance the evidence base and business case for a nature positive economy
- Oversee the budget so that financial targets for income and expenditure are met
- Report to and liaise with relevant RSPB governance boards as required, overseeing timely reporting
Key skills, knowledge and experience:
- Good understanding of nature conservation and how businesses are engaging on issues of sustainability
- Strong track record of engaging with business partners, maintaining and developing long term relationships
- Experience of leading and developing teams and uniting them to deliver impact
- A strong customer focus and experience of contract management
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing business plans
- Strong budget management skills
- Proven experience in meeting ambitious targets and delivering impact at scale
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present, influence and represent the organisation to key audiences
- Extensive stakeholder management experience within a large organisation and externally across sectors
