Job description

Are you a customer focused dog lover? Do you want to make a difference?
We are looking for a supporter-centred person to join our wonderful Mass Participation fundraising team to support with our ambitious plans to expand and develop the community programme and portfolio.

What does this role do?
As a Mass Participation Fundraising Assistant, you will:

  • manage the mass participation inbox, responding to supporter queries and supporting the rest of the team,
  • ensure our supporters have an excellent experience, either over the phone, by email or in person,
  • support with key events and activities, including attending mass fundraising events, such as cheering our supporters at marathons and events,
  • complete administrative tasks for the team, from updating records on the database to organising fundraising packs for supporters.

Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 29th and 30th October 2026.

Could this be you?
We’re looking for someone who has experience in a supporter or customer care role, who understands the importance of delivering excellent service. You’ll be a skilled communicator, who can prioritise and manage different tasks and activities simultaneously. This role involves some weekend working and overnight stays, such as travelling to events to support our supporters.

What does this team do?
The Mass Participation Fundraising team is part of the Mass Public Fundraising department in the Income Generation Directorate. The Mass Public Fundraising department brings in approximately £88m per annum through regular giving, one off gifts, prize led fundraising, community and events and legacy and in memory. Our collective ambition is to build on our already successful portfolio of fundraising products and grow and diversify our income by 25% over the next five years, through engagement and value exchange.
