About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering technology change across the organisation. As an IT delivery officer, you’ll support the successful delivery of IT projects and change initiatives that enable teams across the organisation.

You’ll act as a bridge between business areas and IT, helping colleagues articulate their needs, translating these into clear requirements and support the planning, coordination and governance of delivery activity.

Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you’ll support the structured delivery of IT initiatives. You’ll keep project documentation up to date, support backlog management and help provide clear updates on progress.

You’ll also play an important role in supporting user adoption, coordinating and delivering training sessions to ensure colleagues feel confident and well supported when new systems or changes are introduced.

A new role, the Finance Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the charity's day-to-day finances, contracts and risk management. As a member of the senior leadership team, they will support the CEO with strategic planning. A key part of the role will include financial planning and administrative support for the charity’s fundraising efforts as part of a £6.5m conservation and renovation programme. They will lead the preparation for, and presentations at the charity’s Board and related finance committees.

The postholder will ensure that the charity’s budget and out turn are closely monitored and that established financial controls, spanning the procurement to payments cycle, are firmly adhered to. They will lead budget setting, forecasting, and financial reporting (including management of the external audit and production of the annual report and accounts) and will support wider work programme-planning for the charity, setting the foundations for financial success and sustainability. In addition, the postholder will act as the central finance liaison with the Inns of Court of Inner and Middle Temple – TCT’s principal funders – as well as with other stakeholders, donors and cross-departmentally.

Candidates should meet the following essential criteria:

CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant

Experience in a senior/ management financial position in a charity/ not for profit

Experience of managing cash and investments.

Effective communications skills both written and oral

Excellent IT skills including MS Office and Finance Systems

We are seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer with a proven commitment to survivor-led practice, outstanding organisational leadership capability, and relevant therapeutic competence, to provide strategic and inspirational leadership for the organisation’s future.

Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service (LSLCS) exists to provide compassionate, person-centred, trauma-informed crisis support to people across Leeds and West Yorkshire.  Founded in 1999 by individuals with lived experience of mental health crisis, the organisation has grown to deliver a range of services for adults, children and young people while remaining rooted in survivor leadership and empowerment. LSLCS has a long history of innovation and excellence; receiving multiple national awards.

The CEO holds overarching responsibility for the current service provisions, with the support of operational directors and service managers.  LSLCS challenges and shapes current practices; aligned with the needs of those accessing crisis services, with a strong emphasis on gaining and reviewing service user and team feedback to inform decision-making.  The CEO must be able to review feedback openly, regularly and with genuine curiosity in shaping the future of the organisation.

The CEO provides strategic leadership to ensure that LSLCS continues to deliver high-quality, values-led crisis services.  Working closely with the Board of Trustees, the CEO ensures the organisation operates in alignment with its survivor-led ethos, trauma-informed principles, and person-centred philosophy.  The post-holder champions the mission of LSLCS, strengthens its culture, and maintains the organisation’s reputation as a trusted and innovative provider of crisis support.

The CEO must ensure that the organisation’s governance is compliant with Charity Commission requirements, contractual obligations and all other relevant legislation and guidance, and works closely with the Operations Director (Central Services) to ensure the organisation’s financial sustainability and the appropriate, responsible use of its resources.

Dig Deep is an award-winning international development charity working to secure clean water, safe sanitation and good hygiene for the one million people of Bomet County, Kenya - half of whom are children.

This is a new position, created at a pivotal moment for the charity. Over the last year, the combined turnover of Dig Deep and our trading subsidiary (Dig Deep Challenges) has grown by over 50%. The Role

A highly valued role in the Secretariat Team has become available due to the portfolio growth of the existing postholder.

This is an important role which combines high quality General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) advice and collegiate support, policy and practice development and hands-on case management, such as undertaking Subject Access Requests (SARs).

You will directly support staff, including training and response to queries and proactive advice and support to area teams (bishops, archdeacons and their teams) and parishes. Although there is no direct line management responsibility, the role requires working well in a team, supporting others with confidence in your personal decision-making. Southall Black Sisters (SBS) is seeking a Strategic Caseworker to help turn the lived realities of Black, minoritised, and migrant women into systemic change.

Volunteer Engagement

• Develop and implement a volunteer recruitment strategy aligned with organisational needs and values.
• Recruit, onboard and induct volunteers, ensuring safer recruitment practices are followed.
• Act as the main point of contact for volunteers, providing ongoing support, supervision and guidance.
• Coordinate volunteer training, including safeguarding, boundaries and trauma-informed practice.

• Support partnership working to improve referral pathways and joint working opportunities.
• Assist with stakeholder communications, including updates, presentations and reports as required.

Promotion and Awareness

• Support the promotion of Stepping Stones North Wales’ services to professionals and the wider community.
• Work with colleagues to contribute to outreach activities, events and campaigns.
• Gather feedback from volunteers and stakeholders to inform service development and improvement.

Client support

• Support the complimentary client support groups within North Wales.
• Develop partnership working in the community to deliver activities and education to support groups.
• Research and set-up of new support groups within North Wales.
• Support the Clinical Lead and work with counsellors and staff to ensure safe transition and support of clients within support groups and in moving from counselling into support groups.

Governance, Safeguarding and Quality

• Work within Stepping Stones North Wales’ policies and procedures, including safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection.
• Uphold the organisation’s trauma-informed and survivor-centred values at all times.
• Contribute to monitoring and evaluation by collecting relevant data and feedback.

Person Specification

Essential

• Experience of recruiting, coordinating or supporting volunteers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
• Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, survivor-centred practice.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.IT skills, including use of email, databases and Microsoft Office or similar.
• A commitment to learning Welsh (both written and spoken) and to championing the Welsh language at every opportunity.

Desirable

• Experience of working within the voluntary or community sector.
• Experience of stakeholder engagement or partnership working.
• Knowledge of issues relating to childhood sexual abuse or trauma informed practice.
• Experience in drafting funding applications.
• Experience of working across North Wales or in rural communities.

The Role

The Fundraising & Grants Officer is a key role within the Society to deliver and grow income from trusts, foundations, statutory funders, and legacies, playing a key operational role to support the fundraising function.

The postholder will manage funding applications end-to-end, administer legacy income sensitively and accurately, and contribute to the charity’s overall fundraising activity.

The successful candidate will have previous experience securing funds from multiple sources, as well as excellent writing skills, and a keen interest in the heritage sector and the Vision, Mission and Values of SPAB.

Candidate Requirements

We are seeking a highly capable, strategic, and commercially aware finance professional with:

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with full membership of a recognised body.
• Significant senior financial leadership experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector.
• Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience of leading financial transformation and change programmes.
• Experience presenting complex financial information to Boards and non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of charity finance regulations, SORP, governance, and compliance.
• Exceptional analytical, project management, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to lead, influence, and inspire cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Commitment to SIG’s values, trauma-informed approach, and inclusive leadership.

Desirable:

• Relevant postgraduate qualification in finance, leadership, or management.

• Experience of overseeing IT.

Associated Country Women of the World (ACWW) is an international non-governmental organisation which works to amplify the voices of rural women globally.  We are looking for an Executive Director for our small Central Office team which works with member organisations and individuals in the UK and around the world to ensure that rural women are represented, recognised for their critical importance in society, and have a platform to influence policy makers.  We combine advocacy and small-scale, women-led development projects designed by the local women who will implement them for the benefit of their communities.

This an exciting time to join ACWW in the lead up to our centenary and planning for the 32nd Triennial World Conference in 2029.  We are looking to appoint an Executive Director as our current Executive Director will be retiring this summer.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Board of Trustees and working with colleagues and trustees to foster relationships, partnerships and collaborations with individuals, funders and networks in line with the Association’s objectives, priorities and values.
