We are the UK’s leading charity for all those affected by endometriosis, determined to ensure that everyone gets prompt diagnosis and the best treatment and support. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team at Endometriosis UK and help us make a real difference for the 1.5 million in the UK with the disease. This is a crucial role for our small but growing charity, supporting the CEO to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. You’ll be a key point of contact, proactively managing all aspects of EA support to the CEO to enable them to maximise their performance and delivery, as well as coordinating our governance administrative systems and processes. You will be working as part of a passionate team with a strong commitment to achieving change to help those with living with endometriosis.  

The role will be ideal for a highly organised, proactive, and experienced Executive Assistant used to working on their own initiative and comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. You will be a born organiser, with superb judgment, a diplomatic approach, solution focused and with excellent problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to think two steps ahead, guided by our strategic and operational priorities, and the confidence to steer senior managers accordingly. You will bring a meticulous attention to detail and exemplary skills in prioritisation, time management and task completion. Advanced skills in MS Office are essential. Your written and verbal communication skills will be first-rate, with stakeholders at all levels. You will be comfortable handling confidential material with the utmost discretion. You will have proven experience supporting senior executives and Boards, ideally in the charity or non-profit sector. The EA will also play a proactive role in improving organisational processes and supporting priority areas as needed.

This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the CEO to make sure their diary supports their strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include managing, triaging and responding to emails, complex diary management to ensure effective use of their time, providing briefing papers and ensuring the CEO is well prepared for meetings, and ensuring we’ve efficient governance and office processes. You will need to have the ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and sensitivity, with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. You will act as that indispensable individual for the CEO, ultimately responsible for proactively ensuring their work life runs effectively and efficiently. The key focus of the role is to ensure the CEO is able to maximise their impact and influence in the charity, plus ensuring the smooth operation of board and committee functions,

This is a hands-on role in a small but ambitious charity, ideal for someone who’s willing to get stuck in, take initiative, is flexible and brings structure and calm to a busy leadership team. You’ll be a trusted partner, helping to manage schedules, coordinate meetings, prepare documents, and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

We are now recruiting for a Head of Building & Facilities to join our team! In this crucial role, you will have overall responsibility for the management and maintenance of the building and ensuring the appropriate provision of facilities at JW3, including services and equipment. You will also lead on the management of contracts with outsourced suppliers, including those responsible for building maintenance, IT and telephones, security, and cleaning. This role reports into and will collaborate closely with the Director of Finance & Operations. 

As a key part of our management team, you will directly contribute to our mission of creating open and welcoming Jewish spaces that bring different people together, strengthen identities, and build community through arts, culture, education, and social action.

Some of the core duties include:

• Ensure the building – both externally and internally – is maintained and serviced to a high standard in accordance with agreed budgets

About the role:

The role of Retail Development Manager is crucial to the income growth and audience reach of The Children’s Trust retail function. The postholder will be responsible for researching, developing and establishing new income streams to reach new audiences and drive footfall for a disperse network of charity shops, including establishing the online selling of donated and bought in (New) goods; management of online and digital selling platforms and associated stakeholders, ensuring that all compliance requirements are fulfilled.

The role will work collaboratively as part of the Retail Management Team to develop and deliver long-term growth plans to drive voluntary income growth and increase footfall and to lead on new business initiatives.

Role Requirements

• Research opportunities to recommend, test and rollout new online and digital selling platforms. Introduce associated systems and processes to achieve compliance.
• Working with the Retail Sales Manager, identify and source donated product lines and items for listing and selling through online and digital selling platforms. Share learnings to source quality stock to drive sales.
• Create a new online offer to complement and integrate within our existing retail portfolio of shops across Surrey, Sussex and Kent. Develop processes to manage online and digital selling: inventory, listing, pick, pack and despatch of online stock, including organising the logistics for deliveries to customers and collections to meet both shops and customer requirements.
• Manage the development and optimisation of online and digital selling platforms and make recommendations for rapid growth and new business proposals.
• Work with the Retail Sales Manager and Marketing and Communications team to create assets and content that can be used in store, online, through owned channels to maximise opportunities, sales promotions and seasonal changes across the chain of shops.
• Research and implement efficiencies in reducing waste disposal costs for shops estate including items no longer purchased through Rag merchants.
• Research and recommend new income streams for the sale of unsold donated items to mitigate low return through Rag merchants.
• Manage full compliance of the Children’s Trust online and digital selling platforms in line with all Health & Safety legislation, Fire safety, Trading Standards, Retail Gift Aid, GDPR, ThankQ CRM, Risk Assessments, Safeguarding and all other legal or statutory requirements.
• Develop and manage risk assessments and associated online selling policy protocols to prevent reputational damage to The Children’s Trust through digital and online trading activities.

This is a perfect development role for a finalist/newly qualified Accountant to act as the primary interface between Finance and Budget Holders across the University, with a particular focus on the Academic areas and a dotted line into three Academic Heads of School.

This would suit an ACA qualified Accountant moving out of an audit firm looking to move into Business Partnering, or a CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA qualified/finalist Management Accountant/Junior Business Partner who is looking for a progressive move.

The Finance Business Partner will be significantly involved in the budget planning cycle including preparation of, and constructively challenging, budgets and their underlying assumptions, bridging the gap between the central finance function and Academic leadership. They will provide insight and analysis to support decision-making and value creation through revenue generation or cost reduction..
The Finance Business Partner will also manage both income and costs for month end reporting and the preparation of  financial information to non-finance senior whilst business partnering the cost owners across the organisation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Development and Partnerships Coordinator will coordinate Trees for Cities’ partnerships and community tree planting initiatives in towns and cities across the UK, enhancing local environments and community wellbeing.

Collaborating with local authorities and third-sector partners, the post holder will coordinate the UK wide Trees in Neighbourhoods programme; managing local authority and partner relationships, allocating funding, managing budgets, monitoring and reporting.

Working closely with the wider Development and Partnerships team, the post holder will also contribute to a wide range of other exciting programmes at Trees for Cities - such as Trees Cities of the World and the innovative tech-for-good scheme Trees for Streets - and support the improvement of departmental processes and rollouts of new systems and initiatives.

We are recruiting three Digital Product Managers, to join our Digital and Service Design Team on a 23 month Fixed Term Contract.

The Fund is embarking on an exciting digital journey over the coming years. This role will put you at the heart of those ambitions. You will take a lead role in helping us to translate these ambitions in to operational reality through improving our current digital service. If you love a challenge, including delivering ambitious outcomes, whilst working collaboratively with a rapidly growing digital team then this role is perfect for you.

The role is crucial in helping us deliver our digital strategy. As a Digital Product Manager you will take ownership of one or more of our critical digital products (and the relevant part of the service journey). That could be further improving an existing digital product like the recently launched website, or designing and developing a new digital product as part of our future digital roadmap.

This is a senior role with real impact, and you will have the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve great results for our colleagues and the wider community.

As part of the Digital and Service Design team, you will:

• Lead on the design, development, and launch of new digital products.
• Set a clear direction for your product(s), whilst maintaining focus on measurable outcomes.
• Take responsibility for overseeing the ongoing product lifecycle of existing digital products including roadmap development activity.
• Lead multi-disciplinary digital product teams, embedding best practice, whilst empowering colleagues to deliver the greatest impact.
